#242: Business Meetings with God (Kingdom Marketing Mindset Series)
27 May 2020 · 45 min
Episode #242 of the Kingdom Writers podcast (hosts C.J. and Shelley Hitz) teaches the practice of regular "business meetings with God" as the foundation for a Kingdom marketing mindset. The hosts define the practice (a scheduled, intimate time to seek God's direction for writing, publishing and marketing), cite scripture (Psalm 27:8; Proverbs 2:2–5; Ephesians 3:20) and give practical tips (schedule weekly blocks, begin with praise/gratitude, do brain-dumps/journaling, capture ideas during walks/baths, expect specific strategies from God). They share personal stories where divine guidance produced marketing plans, encourage persistence and sharpening the "axe," lead a one-minute reflection, close in prayer, and direct listeners to free training (trainingauthors.com businessmeeting) and Christian Book Academy (christianbookacademy.com).

So go get this training for for free@trainingauthors.com businessmeeting I guarantee if you start having weekly business meetings with God, your life is going to change, your marketing is going to change, and there's going to be some amazing things that happen. So go get that training@trainingauthors.com businessmeeting and I hope that this series is a blessing to you and your book Marketing. So our topic for today is all about business meetings with God. And this is something that I learned about a few years ago and I don't even really remember who I first heard it from. It may have been Shea Bynes in her book Grace Over Grind, but a lot of people talk about business meetings and I started implementing them on a regular basis for for our business. And as I began to create the book Launch Challenge training and begin to teach marketing in a completely different way, I knew this was going to be the foundational lesson moving forward. So how many of you have ever had a business meeting with God? If you're here live, let us know in the chat. Share with us. You know, what is what do you even think about when I say those words? Business meeting with God. So I truly believe that if you begin to implement a business meeting with God on a regular basis, that you are going to see a transformation in your writing, in your publishing and marketing, and even in your life. I really believe so strongly in this. And for those of you that are here live, you know that we've been having technical difficulties right before we went to go Live. Our Internet's out, so I'm like, the enemy doesn't want you to hear this message. But we are moving forward. We're on my phone and recording on the computer, so, you know, we're moving forward in this. I really believe that what we're going to share today could potentially transform the way that your book goes out to the people who need it. And so a business meeting with God, I want you to think of it kind of like a spiritual date. So, you know, sometimes we have coffee dates. Sometimes we have dates with our significant other or with a friend. But I want you to think about this as an intimate meeting, like you're going on a date with God. And I really believe that hearing from the voice of God is the key. And so that's why we have that entire lesson in the Kingdom foundations for you in the CBA member area, because.
That'S going to be part of the business meeting, is listening to God. But I believe that a lot of times our lack of success in marketing is not about a lack of information. You know, I think we will all agree that we are often in information overload. Amen. Anyone else feel, like, bombarded with information? Like, I don't think the issue with, you know, not seeing our book move forward or, you know, not seeing it go out is a lack of information.
I believe, however, that for us as Kingdom writers, it can be more of a lack of intimacy with God.
Yeah. And, you know, and you mentioned.
Having a spiritual date, you know, with God. It reminds me of some of our times that we've had.
At our local Every Home for Christ grotto is what we call them. They have these prayer grottos, and you can rent these rooms, but they're free. And we've gone there many times. Shelly and I will each have a room. We'll go there at the same time. And the sole purpose is to really just hear from the Lord in a lot of ways. They're specifically even to hear about business ideas or ministry ideas. And I think there's different meetings we can have with God. I mean, when you wake up in the morning and you're having your coffee, you know, that might be a little more laid back, just. Just time with the Lord. Just kind of, I guess, as Genesis, you know, as Adam and Eve used to do, walking in the cool of the evening.
Yeah.
But I think there's those specific meetings that we can have with the Lord where we're seeking direction for our business or our writing or a mode of ministry.
Yeah. So this is definitely Something different than your personal devotional time with the Lord or your personal. That you're spending in intimacy with God, just you and him, like, just for the day. I do that every day. But a business meeting with God, this is different. This is a different time. You schedule a different time. And I recommend that you schedule a chunk of time at least once a week. You know, if you can have even like 10 to 15 minutes once a day, you know, just to check in. But having those longer chunks of time, you. You really have time to settle your heart and to really hear from God.
Yeah, there's a verse that really stands out to me. It's one of my favorite verses in all of scripture. It's Psalm 27:8. And this is the new living translation. It says, this is David. My heart has heard you say, come and talk with me. And my heart responds, lord, I am coming. And I love that because it just sets the tone.
Knowing that the Lord longs to download stuff into us, longs to speak to us and allow us to hear things that we might not otherwise if we didn't specifically break away with Him. You know, a lot of writers are disappointed in their results, but are not willing to put in the time or the energy to hear from God. I think that's key right there. Hearing from God, his specific strategy and. Or implement what he shows them. And so, you know, I think it even goes back. I mean, this is. This is an old kind of problem that we've all dealt with. I think you can actually even go back to. You look at the Israelites wandering through the wilderness. What did they do when Moses was up on that mountain getting the ten Commandments? They came to Aaron and they said, we're tired of waiting around.
We don't know where this Moses character has gone. Why don't you make us an idol? Make us something that we can actually touch with our hands and see with our eyes. Aaron, unfortunately, caved into the peer pressure and he made this golden calf that they eventually prostituted themselves to. And I think that we as human beings sometimes just want what we can quickly see. Give me something quick that I can implement. Don't make me really seek after this invisible God, or don't make me wait.
You know, that was the Israelites.
They were having to wait, got tired of waiting. And I think it all is just connected. I think it's even the whole problem with the religious leaders that Jesus encountered. They were threatened because they loved the control and having things they could see. They didn't want to have to like go this extra mile, so to speak, where Jesus was calling them to something even better. They didn't realize it was something better. They just saw him as a threat. And so I think that it leaks into even our seeking after the Lord. Just give me something that's in a box. Quick, easy, tell me what to do, and then I'll move on. And the Lord's saying, I want intimacy out of that. I'm going to give you some great stuff, but would you just come to me first? And I think it's so key. Proverbs, 2 verses, 2 through 5. Listen to these verses. I'll read it once through, and then I'm going to point out very key words. Tune your ears to wisdom and concentrate on understanding. Cry out for insight and ask for understanding. Search for them as you would for silver. Seek them like hidden treasures. Then you will understand what it means to fear the Lord and you will gain knowledge of God. Now, I want to just point out a few words there that really stand out. They're action words. Tune. You know, when you tune into something, you're trying to, you know, think of a radio station. You're trying to get exactly on that dial so that you can hear the song or the message clearly through your radio station. Another word there is concentrate on understanding. I think our culture has a difficult time concentrating in 2020, having an attention span longer than 20 seconds or 8 seconds. They say, yeah, another couple words cry out. You think about crying out for insight. That's not just, you know, oh, Lord, if you'd like to give that to me, then great. It's on your face. It's literally saying, I need this. I have to have this. Lord, I'm desperate. I have nothing in it of my own strength. It's a crying out and then ask for understanding. I think many times we don't have something because we fail to ask. And then search for them as you would for silver. Seek them like hidden treasures. You think about somebody that's a treasure hunter. Imagine if they gave up after one, two, three times. I mean, there is a desperation in that, even a seeking.
Searching, trying to find where this is. Because they know once they find it, there could be a really nice payday. And then finally it says, then you will understand what it means to fear the Lord and you will gain what, knowledge of God. Now, we could look at that in two different ways. We could say we're learning more about God. And I think we could also say we'll actually gain knowledge that he wants to download into us. So there's a couple different ways of seeing the gain. But how many know that the more we get to know someone.
The more we want to spend time with them? Right?
Think about this. If you're on an airplane and you start getting into a conversation with someone and they say, yeah, my name's Mike. And you say, oh, cool. You know, and inside you're just kind of thinking, you know.
Do some small chat here. And then, you know, get to my book or my headphones or whatever it might be.
But then eventually you ask a few more questions and they say, well, I'm a chess player. Oh, okay, I like chess myself.
And then eventually that leads to, oh, by the way, last weekend I won the world championship chess tournament. Now what just happened there? You went from let's just get some chit chat out of the way and get to my book to, oh, really? Well, let's hear more about that. And so the more knowledge you have of that person, the higher your respect level went. Just like that. And all of a sudden now you're intrigued and you want to know more. How did they get to that point? When did they take up chess?
What led to them getting into national and world tournaments? And it's the same way, I think, with God, except it's even more. How many know that the more you know about God.
The more you want to get to know this.
Bottomless.
Limitless well of. Of knowledge. And as you do that, your reverence goes way up your respect level, your level of worship. And so that's why I think, as we get to know this God, and it's, as Shelley said, limitless, people sometimes will even say, I've even heard people say, oh, man, I'm not sure about heaven. That just kind of sounds boring. You know, we're just going to be walking around streets of gold and you know, this and that. And.
Corinthians says, no eye is heard, no ear. No. Is seen, no eye has seen, no ears heard the things which God has planned for those who love Him. And the thing is, I think heaven is going to be an eternity of delving into just a little bit, a little bit of who God is. And it's just going to completely continually put us in awe of Him. And so when we say gain knowledge of God, we're not only getting to know the depth of him, but I think we're learning more aspects of his character that he wants to show us. And I think he has some pretty good divine ideas that he wants to give each and every one of us they're not slouch ideas or plan B ideas. If we seek him with all of our hearts, if we mine these treasures.
He'S going to give us stuff that will blow our minds. And that's comforting to know.
Yeah. And, you know, I have so many authors that come to me and Shelley, just tell me, how do I get my book out to the masses? How do I get it out to the world? And I literally just had an email a few days ago. Somebody was like, I have this book. I know it needs to get out. So many people just tell me what do I need to do to get it out to everyone. And that's a pretty loaded question. And first of all, I recommended that she join Christian Book Academy, and she hasn't done that yet. But, you know, I see so many authors, they want the quick fix, right? You just want me to tell you, here's the blueprint and here's what to do. Here's the xyz. This is what worked for me. So why don't you go try that? And, you know, I've done that in the past, and we will still give you the ideas and, you know, the different things to do. But how many of you are willing to put in the time and the energy to listen to God? How many of you are even willing to put in the time and energy to go through the training in the member area? First of all, that was, I think the lady that contacted me. She just wanted a quick answer. I don't even know if she's willing to go through the training. But first of all, go through the training. Then second of all, put in the time and energy to truly listen to God and ask him, okay, this is. These are my options for my book launch. These are my options to do God, what is it you have for. For me? And honestly.
I don't know how many of you are willing to do that. I want you all to be willing. I really, really do. But I know so many times I just get, I want the quick thing. I want the quick fix. And so my encouragement to you is to, first of all, start seeing it in a different way. First, marketing is not a quick thing. It is parenting your book. You birth your book, you publish it, right? And then you parent it. My mom is still parenting me at 45 years old. I'm still calling her for advice. I'm still asking. You know, we're best friends, too, but it's a marathon, not a sprint. You know, CJ uses a lot of running analogies, so, you know, getting Your mind wrapped around like there is not one easy button.
There are things that work better and we cover all of that in our training. But are you willing, are you willing to put in the time and energy to seek God? So over the last few years I have really started to put in this time and energy and asking God and you know, if you're not familiar with just hearing God's voice and sensing from him in prayer already and it's going to feel awkward. My one friend says it may feel left handed. So if you're right handed, it may feel left handed. Now if you're left handed, then it would feel right handed, but it's going to feel awkward at first, right? It's going to feel different. If you don't know what to do in your business meetings with God, just start speaking gratitude. Thank God for what he's going to do for your book. Just start with gratitude and speaking praise and worship. Just spend your time in praise and worship. If you're not sure what to do but begin cultivating an ear to hear. And what I've noticed is the more consistently I show up, the more consistently I come to God, the more specific he begins to give me ideas, blueprints, you know, strategies. And we can look back in the Bible and God has given very specific strategies in the past. You look at Noah, you know, with the ark, you look at Moses with the tabernacle, you look at David, which then was Solomon to build the temple. And you know, there's so many times God gave very specific blueprints. And I've started to see that it was, I think, maybe, I don't know if it was last year, but maybe it was a couple years ago. We came up short for taxes, a few thousand dollars. It just seems like that's kind of a recurring thing for us. So maybe we need to start praying for that. But we were short and so it's like, okay, Lord, what do we do? And God gave me a very specific marketing strategy. He actually showed me to do a specific webinar, or actually it was a specific challenge followed by a specific webinar to offer a very specific promotion for the Academy at that time. Do you know that with the people who signed up for the Academy during that special promotion, the very exact blueprint that God gave me, it was not on my radar. I was not planning to do any of those things. We got exactly what we needed. Like we, it was provided. And so there's been so many instances where coming to God in that time, he gave me the Marketing strategies. He gave me the things or he'll just tell me not. Not time. Right now, Right now I am, like, wanting to do so much marketing for Christian Book Academy. And the Lord's just like, not yet. You know, right now my assignment is to finish the curriculum. I'm over halfway done, but I need to keep focused on that. But I just want to. I just want to get going. The Lord's just like, not yet, not yet. Wait for me. Now he's, you know, he'll open doors, you know, when it's time, and praying for divine appointments, praying for favor. So I felt like God had shown me that I was not to have any speaking engagements for a season. That was really hard for me. I'm a speaker, and that meant online or in person. So I turned down a couple in person events. One that would have made me like $4,000. You know, I mean, it was a. It was a pretty good paying event. Another one that was here local, that would have been my perfect ideal audience. But the Lord's like, nope, not right now. So turned down some online interviews. All of that. Recently. I felt like the Lord's like, okay, you can start speaking again. Would you know that within a week I got like five requests to be on podcast or summits or interviews or. And it was just like all of a sudden, it wasn't all of a sudden. It was God's timing. Right. And so I just want to encourage you, seek God's blueprint, schedule this into your calendar every week to spend time with God and watch what he does. Right now I'm in a small coaching group called Book Marketing Momentum, and these ladies are doing that as well. It just happened to be all women that signed up this time for this group. And just amazing. Like, they're like, Shelly, I'm just receiving so much from God in my business, meetings with him and specific strategies. And one of them told me an idea that he gave her today. And it's so creative, and I just am so excited for her. Just do it. If you don't do anything else, just do this, you will not regret it.
Yeah. And I think Shelly said something key there. Schedule.
Yeah.
You know, how many know that if we don't schedule something, time will be swallowed up by something? So when you put that in your phone, calendar, or whatever means you use, stick to that. That. That's one that you don't want to miss. You know, there's some appointments that will cancel. You know, the dentist appointment is one I canceled, recently rescheduled. I rescheduled but part of it was I, I didn't want to go.
And I eventually knew I needed to go, but I put it off. And you know, with the Lord, this is something that each of us, as we meet with the Lord, very rarely will we ever have this, you know, I regret, you know, spending that time. I sometimes will say, you know, I don't want to go for a run today day. But sometimes after I've, I've done it, I'm glad I did now, not always. There's some runs, I realize, yeah, I probably shouldn't have gone, but, man, you never regret when you spend that sweet time, that uninterrupted time with the Lord. An hour, half an hour, whatever it might be, that is, is an appointment we should each just circle and keep because he's got stuff that day he wants to download into us.
Yeah. And we have a specific training in the book launch challenge module on business meetings with God where I give some very practical tips. And so I encourage you to check that out. And if you want to recommend it to someone that's not in Christian Book Academy, we do have a sign up. It's@trainingauthors.com businessmeeting I am allowing that particular video to be, you know, viewed for free because I believe it's so important. And I believe that every Kingdom writer needs to begin implementing this, you know, for your writing, for your publishing, but for sure, 100% for your marketing as you get started and to really be, you know, seeking God. But, you know, as you get used to it and as you start doing it, um, you'll find that even in the, the little chunks of time that you have, you'll be cultivating that space to hear from God. So for me, I also, I like to take baths. And that wasn't a thing I used to be into because I didn't have time, you know, it wasn't productive, but now it's like, it's self care. And so during my bath time, I have this little pad right next to me because God often downloads things to me when I'm in because I have space, you know, I'm quiet. And sometimes I'll even ask God. I'll be stuck on a certain thing or I'm not sure what to do for a certain thing. And I'll ask God. And all of a sudden it's like, you can ask cj. I have all these little. From my waterproof notepad, I think it's called Aqua notes. I constantly am getting stuff from God when I'm taking a bath, but also when I'm on a run or I'm walking. So I always have my phone with me and I have this little carrier around my waist. And a lot of times I'll have to stop in the middle of my run and capture the idea or capture the thought from God, because He gives it to me. So as you develop this relationship with God, the intimacy with him, as you begin to practice business meetings with him on a regular basis, you're going to find that even in those little snippets of time, you're going to begin to hear from Him. And so ask him, God, what is the best use of my time and my energy today? Ask him for wisdom. Ask him for specific, you know, blueprints and strategies, you know, but also just praise him, worship him, spend time in gratitude. And I guarantee you're going to start seeing some breakthroughs and you're going to see God work in ways that you never could, connecting you with people that you never could have made happen, opening doors for you that you could have never knocked down. And he's going to be doing things. Ephesians 3:20 is one of my favorite verses, you know, just even greater, immeasurably, more than you can even think or imagine.
Yeah. And so we're going to go ahead and take one minute, as we do with each of these, and it's just a one minute reflection where you can specifically ask the Lord what He's calling you to do, or maybe you heard something that you want to meditate upon just a little more and pray into that. So let's take one minute.
All right, share with us in the comments anything you felt like God was, you know, speaking to you during that time and, you know, just to, to let us know what he's saying to you. But one of the things that I, I felt like I saw a picture as we were just, you know, in that time of prayer and reflection. We was of this window and this window was so dirty and foggy, you know, it's just like you couldn't see through. Have you ever seen like, especially like cars when they've been off roading or whatever, but it was just like it was caked on and you could not see. And you know, we could stand there all day and complain and complain and complain that we cannot see because we can see Pikes Peak out our window right here, Garden of the Gods, the red rocks. And we could sit around and complain all day that we can't see it. But until we get up and, you know, start to clean that window. You know, we're not gonna. We're not gonna be able to see through it. Right?
And I just feel like for some of you, you're resisting getting up and cleaning the window. You know, you need to do it, but you're resisting it. And I don't know why. I don't know what's happened or what's. You know, maybe you feel like you can't hear from God or you've tried or, you know, whatever it is, or you're just disappointed and, you know, maybe even you're, you know, blaming God for some things. I mean, I don't know. God is. Is able to handle it. Pour out your heart to God. Ask him, what is my resistance? Why am I not wanting to just get up and clean the window when that will solve the problem? Right.
I also feel like, you know, some of you are like me, like I used to be. I'm a redeemed workaholic. And I never thought that in business it was productive to spend that time in prayer. You know, it sounds horrible now. I mean, I hate to even admit it, but I was the type of person that was like. But I need. I need to be creating the graphics for Facebook. I need to be posting. I need to be writing emails to send to my list. I need to be doing the things. And, you know, if I'm not doing the things, then I'm not being productive. And it's almost like that whole thing. The other picture that came to me during the prayer time was trying to chop down a tree with a dull axe. But you're not willing to stop to sharpen the axe. If you would just stop to sharpen the axe, the tree would get cut down quickly, easily, and we wouldn't be sweating so much. You wouldn't have to use so much energy. It would get done faster, easier, quicker. And yet so many times in our minds, we think, but I need to be doing the things. I can't stop to do the thing that really is going to give you the results. And so I just pray that. That God gives you a breakthrough. Because until you have a breakthrough and be able to see from God's perspective that this is the most productive thing you can do all week. This is the thing that will clear the window so you can see out. This is the thing that will sharpen the ax. This is the thing that will bring the divine appointments, the divine favor, you know, the door, the open doors. This is the thing that if. I mean, I just wish I could do it for you, but I can't. And so I just pray that you would do it. Debbie says scheduling it weekly. Good. April says, just felt sensed to create a promo video of the children's book. Yeah. And so sometimes when you're in these times with God, he'll give you those specific ideas. I always say play in a pencil because it could change.
But allow God to change it.
And it's like we've said before that, you know, we. We as human beings can come up with a lot of good ideas.
Yeah.
But when you really delve deeply with the Lord, he'll. He'll give you God ideas. And a God idea is worth a million good ideas.
Amen.
Because we also have a piece about that. It's not just us scurrying.
Right.
And flittering and fluttering about trying to make this thing work.
Yeah.
It's. Oh, I never saw that before. So it's that aha. Moment that. That God moment.
Yeah. Nancy says, I love asking the God the question, what are the options you have for me? Yeah. And, you know, sometimes we just get stuck. And, you know, sometimes what I'll do, and I mentioned this in the. In the training in the member areas, like, I'll do a brain dump and just, you know, with a journal or piece of paper or whatever, and I'm just writing all these things down, and I'm just getting it out of my head, and then I'm like, okay, God, what are the things that you want to highlight to me? So then he starts to highlight some things, and then I start another paper and I start writing about that. And then, you know, clarity comes in phases. Often for me, it's not like an instant. Like, you know, all of a sudden, it's like, it takes effort, and it takes, you know, time, and I have to sit down and I have to be willing to write it out. We're writers anyways, right? So get out your paper and pen and just start writing. And some of the things you write, you cross them off the list, but you keep asking, God, God, what are the things you have for me? So I love that. April says, create with him. It will be fun. I'm a seer, and he shows me pictures. Love that. Yeah. Debbie says, God created a human being, not a human doing. Yeah. And that's what God's been teaching me over the last probably four years.
Awesome. Awesome. Myrna says, lay down all the possibilities for the next steps, and he will give me the flowchart. I love that. You know, so you Know, flowcharts are something that some of you really get into. And I kind of like my. I like a good flowchart. But, yes, he'll give that to us. Um, deanne says as I have him be my break time, I will receive breakthrough and break free in him. Love that. I love that. Lola says get rid of distractions so you can focus on what God wants. And yeah, I love that. April says it's actually like dancing with him. He presses you in one direction, you follow, and you. Then you start going in another direction, and it becomes a beautiful dance. And that's exactly kind of how I feel a lot of times in these business meetings with God. It's not like a straight line. It's not like a exact. Okay. Like you're in a meeting and you have an agenda, and it's like, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. That's not the way it goes. It's very messy. It's very creative, you know, and for each of us, it's going to be different because, you know, we're. We're all created differently. But don't expect it to just be clean and easy and just to come and. But it's. It's a flow, right? It's that dance. And I love that visual imagery of explaining that. So, so good.
Yeah. And this just hit me as well. You know, as you read the Gospels, you see Jesus teaching a lot in parables. And, you know, he even had people question him, his own disciples. Why do you teach the people in parables? And he essentially told them they were permitted to hear the meaning. They were with him all the time. Many times they were asking him. But I think what Jesus was doing is he was casting out bait, so to speak, through these parables. And he wanted to see how many people really did want to know the meaning, how many people would come back to him. You even think of Nicodemus or some of these, that they did approach him, sometimes in secret because they didn't want to see their friends noticing them with Jesus. But they still came back.
Yeah.
And I think that we, as kingdom writers, I think the Lord sometimes wants to know, how urgent are you to come back to me?
Most of the time when Jesus taught these parables, the people went on unless there was a good meal at hand, like, you know, the fish. The fish sandwiches that he served. But many times people just left unless there was something immediately in it for them. And I think Jesus just loved it when people came to him seeking in a deeper way. What did you mean by that parable? You just taught. Tell me the meaning. I think it just tickled in pink and I think it tickles him today when we linger and when we don't just get about our business the rest of the day as if he's something to be checked off. But he wants us to linger. And I think it's in those times he will reveal meanings to us that we would have never gotten before and that could have something directly related to our writing, our marketing, whatever it may be. And so are you coming back? Is the question. We need to keep coming back, keep coming back to the master. And as we do that, he'll reveal things to us.
And I don't want you to think that you don't ever have to do the work because once he gives you the plan, guess what? Noah had to build the ark, right?
You know, you know, Moses had to recruit the artisans and the people to help with the tabernacle. Like, don't think that it doesn't require work. It does. But when you have your ax sharpened, guess what? It's going to be a lot easier. It's going to go a lot smoother. You're not going to be like a chicken, you know, with head cut off, just, you know, running every which direction, following all the bright shiny objects, you know, doing all the things and not getting the results that you want. And also it takes time. So last week we had shea vines on here and her, she and I both started our businesses around the same time. And we've both seen that, you know, it wasn't like in an instant take off. You know, it's like there's moments, but there's that consistency of coming back all the time. And so be, be encouraged. Today he is with you. He wants to see you and the message that you have succeed, you know, he wants you and your gifts to be shared. And so this is an exciting thing. It's, it's one of the most amazing things. I was telling a friend the other day that right now the three main products that we have.
It'S Christian Book Academy, Living Colors, which is my coloring book and prayer journal subscription, and then the coaching program, book marketing, momentum, all three of those things birthed out of business meetings with God. And it's like, oh my goodness, it feels so good to know and like to have that confirmation. Like I'm doing the things that I know God has for me right now. It's like the scripture in Psalm 1 and I think it's Jeremiah 17 being a tree planted by the streams of water. When you're positioned where God has you to be positioned. You're going to automatically be fed, going to automatically be green. It says in Jeremiah that, you know, you never fear the drought. And it's like when you're doing what God has called you to do, there's just such a peace that comes. Amen. So, C.J. why don't you close us in prayer?
Father, we just thank you so much for this time. We ask, Lord, that this time would bear much fruit.
Yes, Jesus.
That you would download God ideas into our members. I pray that every single person watching or listening to this would receive fresh vision from you, Lord. Ideas that actually go way beyond anything they could do in their own strength. And I just pray that you give each and every one of our kingdom writers wisdom and understanding as they seek you and as they dig, as they. They concentrate, as the proverb.
Writer tells us to do. We ask, Lord, that your Holy Spirit would open our eyes, open our ears to things that we couldn't see on our own. Give us those spiritual glasses that we can look through. May we hear your voice. May we be walking around through the day and be able to write down ideas that we knew came from you. And many times they do come at the most unexpected times. And I ask, Lord, that each and every person here would know that they heard from you. Yes, that they'd know beyond a shadow of a doubt, because the very thing that you gave them was something that would eventually go on to encourage and bless many, many people. And we're going to give you the glory, Lord, for all these ideas. And we ask, Lord, that you would just give us even sweeter times of intimacy with you going forward and that we would always have that on our calendar and that nothing would be able to interrupt that business meeting with you, Lord. And we'll ask these things in Jesus name. Amen.
Amen.
All right, so we'll see you next week.
God bless you guys. Bye.
