#292: Refillable Pens - Encouragement When You Feel Dry

Hey, it's Shelly Hits here. And this last month has just been an incredible month, hasn't it? We just finished up our first ever Kingdom Writers Conference and we are just thrilled of, you know, just all the feedback we're hearing from you, the messages, the emails, the testimonies of what God has been doing through these presentations and the bonus trainings. And we give God all the glory.

For what he's doing.

But this month we wanted to highlight a few more things from the conference.

And today I thought it would be.

Powerful to share just some of what I had to say after CJ finished his presentation on priestly pens. You know, we are the priestly pens in the hands of the author of Life as we're writing our book. And his, his presentation was so powerful. But I'm sharing today just a little bit of what God gave me and the picture he gave me after CJ's talk. So I just wanted to share that with you and enjoy. We are here just with God doing.

This to encourage you to use your gifts and calling to reach many, many people. And when he talked about that scripture, I just pictured all of those people. And it said, then Jesus began distribute. And when he said, he was saying, you know, think of it as our words. Like, I just saw it that your books are going out to so many places, I got chills. And the enemy, guess what, wants to stop you. He wants to stop you. But God has the victory. And as CJ was praying, God often speaks to me in pictures. If you've been watching some of the little five minute videos and the Facebook group, the prayer videos, God often speaks to me in pictures. And the picture that I got when CJ was praying is that some of you feel like your ink is already run out, it's too late. You, you know, felt like you should have written this book earlier. You don't have the funds or the money. You just feel dry and you feel like your ink is already run out. Is there anyone that is feeling that today or maybe that you don't know what to do. You just, you feel like I don't even know the first step to take. I don't know how to get my words onto the paper. I don't understand anything about publishing or marketing my book. And you just feel like this pen with no ink. And I just felt like the Lord wants to say to you today and encourage you today that you are not a disposable pen, but a fountain pen. And guess what? Fountain pens can be refilled with ink.

And you don't have to stay dry. You can come to him and he will fill your reservoir. He will fill you. He will give you what you need to write. He will give you the words to write. He will show you the way to have that book published. He will give you the ideas for marketing. And believe me, if you watch Sandra's presentation already today, she talks about the favor that comes from God. And believe me, God is able to give you favor. We've seen it in our own lives and just things that have happened that we couldn't have even orchestrated or made happen that has gotten our books to so many people. We're not well known. We're not household names. I mean, some of you didn't even know of us before this conference. And yet God has used us to sell more than three quarters of a million books and given away over half a million for free on Kindle. What? How is that even possible? English was my worst subject in school. He refills the ink, he gives the favor. He has those divine connections for you. He has the resources for you. And so I want you to know right now, if you feel like you're disposable pen that's run out.

There's more for you, friends.
