How do I discover decide on which writing project to focus on. Oh, this is a good one. I really like this question, and I actually had someone in Christian Book Academy recently asked this question, and so I had already been thinking about it. There's a couple things that you can do to really decide which writing project to focus on. Because let's just be honest, most of us are creative and have multiple book ideas, right? I'd say for most of you, you have more than one book in you. And so I just want to encourage you. That's normal. But first of all, pray about it. Have a business meeting with God, and that's part of your bonuses with the Kingdom Writers book. But you know, when you're praying about it, when you're meeting with God, do you get a sense from God, what book is the priority to finish first? Because there have been times that whether it's a book or a project or something, the Lord is like, you need to finish this thing first. And then what do you feel most passionate about right now? Again, I was mentioning this earlier. It's like, if you don't have the passion for something, you may not bring it to completion. What are your goals right now? Does one of the books line up better with your current goals and the things that God has really shown you is for right now? And then which book could be done first? So which one? Seems like maybe you have the most content already. Maybe you've already written a lot of blog posts on the topics or which book seems to be the easiest for you to write? So I love this, this option because if you choose a book that you know, you know the content so well, or you already have a lot of the content, or it just seems like it's going to be the easiest and the fastest to get done. You learn the process of writing self publishing, right? You get it done and it creates momentum. It's kind of like Dave Ramsey's process of paying off debt. He calls it the debt snowball. And CJ and I did this. It's a whole other testimony, but we were like, so 70 to $80,000 in debt. We used the debt snowball. We started with the smallest debt, paid it off. It was momentum. Then we put, you know, what the minimum payment we were paying on that, we rolled it into the next one, the next one, the next one, the next one. Whereas if we would have started with the biggest debt, you wouldn't get that feeling of momentum. You wouldn't feel like, oh, I paid that off. But like, just getting something done, it does something, you know, psychologically, and it helps us to build momentum, but you also learn the process. So those are some things to think about and hopefully that is helpful for you.
