How to past the fear? Publishing just seems so vulnerable. Yeah. How many of you would agree.
That publishing is. I mean, you're putting your creative work out there, right? And it is a very vulnerable process. And so what we have actually done is we had an entire training, entire podcast on how to overcome fear. So what I would actually recommend is to go and listen to that instead of me repeating myself. It's@trainingauthors.com conquer fear. But what I will say is that many times that that fear doesn't always fully go away. And there is like a pounding of your heart when you press publish on the. Even a social media post or for an email to go out, or when you're in a book launch or you're pressing publish on your book for the first time or you're sending your book to an editor or whatever. It's like that, you know, have you guys felt that? Like, it's. It's a real thing. Do it afraid because God is with you. He's gone before you, and he will help you. And so sometimes we just have to do it afraid. And sometimes that fear that we're feeling, it is more of an excitement. So I have heard it said, and I can't remember the author, but I think it was of the book the Big Leap. He said, fear is just excitement without breath. So if you just breathe into it, just start breathing into it, Take some deep breaths. A lot of times our fear is just excitement. Your dream is getting ready to be birthed. You are able to impact lives. The things that you have been working on for all these months and years are finally getting finished. And yes, it may feel like fear, but deep, deep down, it is probably also excitement. Does that make sense?
Breathe into it and allow yourself to feel the excitement. To feel like, be like, yes, this is a celebratory moment. I can feel the full excitement about that. And yeah, it's a great way to reframe it. Yeah, it is. And even with, like, speaking, I always get nervous. And I remember Michael Hyatt one time on one of his podcasts, he says he tells himself it's a way to reframe. It is. It's my body's way of preparing for peak performance. So your body just naturally produces some of these chemicals and hormones and things, and it feels like fear, but it is actually like, you know, it is adrenaline. It is actually your body preparing for something great for peak performance. And so I think just recognizing and knowing that it is okay if your body feels that way.
