How I got 1.1 million post reach (and growing) on my business Facebook page this week

This is really exciting. I'm gonna share with you today how I got 1.1 million post reach. Yes, million. I know, I was surprised too. But I'm gonna share with you exactly how I did that this week in this video. Hi, my name's Shelly Hitz. I am the author coach@shellihitz.com I am the creator of authoraudienceacademy.com and I'm on a mission to help you reach more people with your message. So some really, really cool things are happening. As you know, I love Facebook Live. I started using it through the Facebook Mentions app because I do have a verified page you can see here. And I went a few steps to get my page verified and it was totally worth it. But as you know as well, I've created a free five day live video challenge. You can get access@shellyhits.com livevideo well, I have been doing live video and I love it. But this week I found out about a brand new tool and I just remember I woke up one day and I thought, I have got to try out this tool. I mean, it was one of those things where I had been putting it off. I'd seen it, I thought, oh, I don't need to do this. I don't need to do this. Oh my goodness, this has been such an amazing thing for me. I found out about the OBS.

Open broadcaster software. You can get it@obsproject.com and you want to get OBS Studio over here on the right hand side. Now, it's a bit technical to get set up and to figure out all the settings and all the ways that I'm using it. I'm using it right now to go live on Facebook. And so I'm going to be creating a training inside Authoritarians Academy as a bonus and this coming week. So if you're interested in getting the step by step training, you can get that inside my academy. But here's the proof. This week, post reach 1.1 million. Now, why did OBS and this software helped me get that kind of reach? Well, let's go ahead and look inside my analytics, you guys. I'm giving you a look inside what you know, my page, my analytics. And can you see all green on this page? Isn't that cool? Green for increased 433% green. My page views increased 114% page likes increased and my reach increased 14,173%. Look at that 1.2 million reach. You guys, I'm not making this up. This is what Facebook is telling me. Facebook is favoring live video right now. If you're not doing live video, why not? This is the time. This is the time to jump in and I want to teach you how to do this. You can join me by just simply joining my academy. Authoraudienceacademy.com I'm creating this training next week and it is off the hook. Amazing. Okay. Post engagement up 241% video views. Look at this, you guys increased 1,148%. I get excited. Can you tell? All right, so this is my real life statistics. So let me show you my actual like inside my account analytics. This is authentic. This is real. I'm not hiding anything. It's not hype. So look at these. These are all my posts here. These ones just posted. So you know, 788 reach for my quote image this morning. 1,8K reach for this post. 1.5K boom. 669 5K reach on my webinar. I decided once I found out about the observation software, which is right here, obs project.com I decided, well, I can do screen share on Facebook now. I'm gonna actually do my webinar on Facebook Live and just see what happens. Look at this you guys. I got that reach. But then, you know, the Blue is post clicks.171 post clicks, reaction, comments and shares283. Amazing. I've already had people signing up for Author Audience Academy as a result of that webinar. So I'm already making income. I'm profiting from doing my webinar here on Facebook. Plus look at all this reach. I'm going to show you a couple cool things here in just a minute. This one through OBS249.5k reach.

Let me come down to 92k for that one. 111k. So these were two live videos I did before I started using OBS. These were 148.8, 124.8. So that's still really good reach. Compared to all these other posts, Facebook is favoring live video. But when I started using the OBS software, 249.5K, you know, I'm starting to get even more reach. When I did my webinar and that's because I spent so much time, it was a 90 minute webinar. I had this huge reach all right, so let me come back over to my page. What's really cool with Facebook Live is I did this webinar. Here's my webinar right here. And you can see 316 views. I have a ton, a ton of comments, 202 comments. But notice this little red link at the top. What does it say?

It says expiring. And so what I did is I did my webinar live on Facebook and then I'm going to have it expire like all of my webinars. The replay will expire in 48 hours and you just put your cursor over that. It tells you July 1st at 1:34pm I have mountain Time. But basically when you do a live video, there's a drop down menu there and you can click see more options but you can click Edit expiration. Mine is already, you know, is already there because I've already done it. But you can set an expiration date. And this is amazing. Like this is a tool you can use for free to host your webinars. But what I really love about it is there's so many options inside. You see this, on my webinar I have this custom lower third. How professional does that look? That just really increased my videos on Facebook a new notch. I can now put this video, if I want on YouTube, which I do, repurpose a lot of my videos onto YouTube. It has a real professional look to it. It fills the whole screen. Instead of having the black bars on the side and then with obs, I can do that. Look at that there. Right there is my professional intro video. Put that in there. You can do screen share. See what I'm doing here? And in the webinar I had my picture in the bottom right hand corner. And so you can do your picture. I'm not showing my face on the screen today because just to be real, I'm still in my pajamas.

I work from home. And so I can do that right? And then right now, like what's really cool is I'm using the Reflector. I have my iPad up here and I have been having fun with this Amazon Sketch app. So let's just say I want to color in this woot. You know, I can just do this. You know, I can actually doodle live on a Facebook Live. So if you're an artist or if you do something on a device like, like the iPad, you know, you can use something like I use the Reflector app and it is a paid app for my Mac and then I can just do cool things like this. I have been doing coloring pages, which is really fun. They have different color schemes you can choose from, but you can do this right live on video. How cool is this? Right? And it's different. Different. Really helps you to stand out in the newsfeed on Facebook. How many people are coloring live on Facebook Live? You know, how many people are showing their screen, how many people are doing these things right now? You can be one of the first in your niche in your area to do this. And it's given my page so much of a boost. I have literally gotten 1.1 million post reach and it continues to grow. So how exciting is this?
