The Writing Rhythm That Works (Even When You're Busy)

Welcome to Kingdom Writers, where we help equip and empower Christian writers of all genres to share your unique gifts with the world. We're your hosts, C.J. and Shelli Hitz.

This podcast is filled with spiritual encouragement as well as prayers to help you overcome the resistance you face as a writer. Your story matters.

Think you don't have time to write a book? Well, I'm going to propose that you don't need more time, but you need a better rhythm. Hi, I'm Shelly Hitz, the founder of Christian Book Academy. And since 2010, we've worked with thousands of writers to help them finish and publish their books. And here's what we've learned. Time isn't the issue. It's the pressure to write a perfect book book in big chunks of time that just don't exist, but the truth. God doesn't need your hustle. He just needs your obedience. And that's why we created the 15 minute challenge inside Christian Book Academy. Each month, our members commit to write just 15 minutes a day for five days. And that's it. No overwhelm, no pressure. Just fit it into the nooks and crannies of your life. Take Jackie Scott. She discovered Christian Book Academy and committed to our 15 minute writing habit. And by following the Kingdom Writers path modules and writing a little bit each day that 15 minute commitment, Jackie published her first devotional within a year. And in the next year, she published two more books. She told us that without Christian Book Academy, self publishing a book would have still been a distant dream. If you've been telling yourself, I don't have time to write a book, it's time for a new rhythm, one that fits the life you're living right now. So join Christian Book Academy and take the pressure off just 15 minutes a day and you'll be amazed what God will do. Join us@christianbookacademy.com if you're ready to take.
