Have you seen the boxed sets on Amazon where someone has like a bunch of books all together? They have that 3D image and they tend to do really, really well during special promotions. Hi, my name is Shelly Hitz. I'm an author coach@authoraudienceacademy.com I am the podcast host of the Author Audience show, and I'm on a mission to help you reach more people with your message. It's time to let your light shine. And in today's training, I want to share with you why I'm publishing a boxed set of nine of our books. I had this idea years ago. I saw how popular these boxed sets are. They are Kindle versions of books you've already written. It is another way to repurpose. You know how I love repurposing. I just recently did a training on that. I love it, but it just wasn't the right time. And I don't know, it just. I just didn't do it. So why am I publishing nine of our books in a box set now? Well, as you know, if you've been following me, 11-15-18 through 1-15-18 is the biggest book buying season of the year. And I thought, what ways can we repurpose content that we already have to create another book to create something new that people may be interested in, to be able to generate more sales, more interest, and especially during this particular season of the year? Well, we have nine books. They're in this series. A Life of Gratitude, A Life of Faith and, and a Life of Generosity. And what we're gonna do, my husband wrote this series on generosity and I wrote the other series. We're gonna bundle those nine books into one book. It's with my formatter now. He's taking the Kindle versions of all nine books, grouping them together. I've ordered the book cover and there's some things I'm learning along the way. I will be creating a new training inside Authoritance Academy on exactly the steps, how to do this, the things that I, I had to figure out what you have to do to do this. But once you really know the system, know the steps, this is a great way to repurpose information you already have. So I'm doing this to generate sales. I'm doing this to offer something new to my existing customers. My email list. I'm doing this to also, I'm going to be using the Kindle Countdown deal and I want to use that during the biggest book buying season of the year to to really see how it will go and to see if I can get some increased rankings and potentially even some new email subscribers and sales of other books that we have written. What do you think? Would you consider doing a boxed set? If you have multiple books that would fit together into a box set, that would be a great way to repurpose content you already have and get it ready for for the biggest book buying season of the year. Another option is to gather many different authors and include different books from different authors in that boxed set. The best way to do it is the first book in a series, so then you get sales from the other books in your series. You bought boxed sets before. What do you think about this idea of boxed sets? You know me, I'm going to be sharing as I go how this works for us, what you know, if it works, what goes well, what doesn't go well, and I can't wait to share the results with you later. If you're watching here on Facebook or on YouTube or my blog, leave me a comment, let me know what you think and I'll see you next time. Bye Bye.
