I am 39 years old. I'm going to be 40 in less than six months and I'm a board certified cosmetic dermatologist. Jowls are the bane of my existence in recent years because I woke up not long ago and I realized that my face changed. And that's actually pretty normal. There's a second peak in life in your late 30s where over the course of a month your face changes. But one thing most people tend to focus on as they get older are wrinkles. I have a line in the middle of my forehead and I tell my patients when I take a step back and I hold a mirror, I'm like, do you really see that line or do you see something else? Because chances are you probably see something else. Number one, cause is usually discoloration or looking kind of ruddy and you can't really pinpoint it. But number two, les jowls, the jowls right here. And I myself am noticing them.
