2020 Elite Technology with Plant Manager and Pro Shooter Tommy Gomez

Tommy Gomez from Elite Archery walks through two 2020 technologies: the SET pocket system lets you tune arrow tear without a bow press using just an Allen wrench, and the ASIM cam offers 7 inches of draw-length adjustment in quarter-inch increments plus four-position holding-weight control.

Hey, guys, it's that time of year again. We're here at Elite Archery, here to talk to you about a whole bunch of new technology for 2020. I'm going to talk to you about the new target bow. The result? First thing we're going to talk about today is the set technology by Elite. It stands for simplified exact tuning. First benefit we're going to talk to you about with the set technology is the ability to tune it without a bow press. With the set of Allen wrenches, you can tune the set technology while you're standing on the shooting line. So what the set technology is, is the ability to pivot the pocket on the riser to make it customizable for you. This system will literally tune any arrow, any setup you throw at it. So how you adjust the set technology is you crack loose the screw here on the rear, and then you can adjust this screw for a right tear. You'll turn it to the right and a little bit goes a long ways with this system. So right tear, quarter turn can literally move you three quarters of an inch. And then for a left tear, you just loosen the bolt, which would bring it to the left. That's how you lock it down and that's how you set the set technology. So right tear, you turn to the right, left tear, you turn to the left. So we all know Elite's been super successful with the two track binary cam system. But this year, with some new technologies that the engineers have been able to develop, we have the ASIM tri track cam system. In the past, Elite has had drawing specific mods that required a bow press. With this system, we have a rotating mod with 7 inches of draw length adjustment in quarter inch increments. Another cool feature with this system is you can actually adjust your holding weight by simply loosening the screw and you can slide it to one of four desired locations. For everyone that likes to shoot a cable stop, you can do that with this bow. You can also shoot a limb stop, or you can actually shoot both. I've worked in a pro shop before, and this bow has it all. It's going to be super easy for the technicians to help get this bow's drawing set, get it set up for the shooter to try out, and then it's going to be easy to tune. You're going to be able to get your customer taken care of and out the door and know that everything's set up perfectly and you can do all that without a bow press. We have seen such great results out of this technology that we have applied it to our 2020 hunting bow. So the same features that pro archers are shooting all around the world, you'll be able to have the same features in your hunting bow. So go to your local dealer and experience the new set technology and the Asym Tri track cam system.
