For 2023, Elite Archery brings to you the industry's first revolutionary V2 Micro Mod. The V2 Micro Mod can be found on any of the 2023 models that have the SP or SPX cam system. The 2023 bow lineup will come with the Performance mod installed from the factory. The V2 micro mod will come standard on the Elite Omnia and the Elite Verdict. Let's dive into some of the features, benefits and adjustments of the V2 micro mod. The V2 micro mod gives you the ability to adjust your holding weight or your let off if you're not familiar with what holding weight or let off actually is. If you have a 70 pound bow and your cam is positioned in a 90% position, you're actually letting off 90% of that peak weight and only holding the remaining 10%. So if you have a 70 pound bow at 90%, you're only holding 7 pounds of holding weight. If it's at 80%, you're holding about 14 pounds. Why is that beneficial? Obviously, bow hunters that want to hold their bow at full draw for a long time might want to choose a higher let off position so the bow is not tugging on them. If they're at full draw for a long period of time, target shooters might want to shoot a higher holding weight. The advantage of the V2 Micromod is that it allows you to get the exact holding weight and let off that you desire to utilize the micro adjustability of the v2 micromod. Use your 5.64 wrench and just barely loosen the button head screw in the mod. You want to keep tension on that screw. If you get it too loose, you can move the mod freely with your finger, but if you just barely loosen it, it keeps a little tension on it. Now use your 564 and insert it in the brass gear. And that gear is your micro adjustability. You can see as you move the stop, it reveals some indicator marks. These aren't percentage marks, these are just reference marks. So you can get the top and bottom cam perfectly synchronized. As I stated before, this is the cable stop. If you prefer the feel of a limb stop, we have that option. You can see the five threaded holes in the cable stop. You just need a 764 Allen wrench and a set of limb stops that come included with the bow. If you want to further customize that feel, you can use this limb stop. The bow will come in the 90% position. What's that mean? It's the highest let off. It's rotating the farthest. It's going to give you the lowest holding weight and the highest let off. If you install the limb stop in the furthest position away, the cable stop is likely to contact your cable before the limb stop actually hits your pad. So I recommend starting on the middle position with the limb stop. There's five you want to insert it into the third position. It's as simple as starting the threads using a 764 Allen wrench. And go ahead and snug that limb stop down. And again, what you do to one end, you always do to the other. Install your second stop in the middle position or third position on your bottom cam as well. Even with the limb stop installed, you can still utilize the Micro adjustability. Go ahead and crack your screw loose like we did, insert your Allen wrench into the brass gear and you can see you can still run that gear and adjust your limb stop as necessary so it's fully customizable for you to get the exact holding weight you prefer. With the V2 micro mod being infinitely adjustable between 90 and 70%, it's not about getting it to an exact percentage or being able to adjust it 1% of the time. It's about being able to get it exact. Before the Micro Adjustability, the closest you could get your cams in synchronization was within 1/2 twist of the cables. Now you can put this bow in a drawboard with it perfectly timed, draw it back, and if you have a stop that's just minutely off, you can loosen it, micro adjust it and get this bow absolutely perfect at full draw so you get the best shooting most accurate machine possible. Why is customizable holding weight so important for a hunter? For a target archer, you may have different preferences. A hunter may want high holding weight shooting a very light release. A target archer may want more holding weight shooting a really heavy release. The V2 micro mod gives you that adjustability to make it feel, feel and fit you however you want.
