What do we need this bow to be? So this is our target. Power stroke. I want to push this. So with this new cam, we want to target less than 4. So you know, who is this bow for? Someone with a shorter draw length that's looking to maximize their potential. They don't want to sacrifice features or benefits. Benefits. You'll be blown away at the performance out of this bow. There's no sacrifices, there's no cutting corners. I want to put people in the best position to be successful, no different than I do with my son. Going into this project, we always look at what's available to the consumer in this category, and we definitely noticed an opportunity to provide a better bow. I happen to have someone at home, my son, who was 12 years old, that this bow would fit perfectly for. So when designing this bow, that was, I had him in mind. I had him help me out with the testing and the feel of the bow. So he was a perfect test subject for someone who has a little bit of experience with archery, still has room to grow. So making sure that the draw force curve fit him was comfortable for him. I know then it will apply to the masses and people who are potentially new to archery. A smooth draw force curve. Something that they can draw back and shoot and enjoy. So the immerse is a 30 inch axle to axle bow with a 6 and 916 inch brace height. Draw length range will span from 18 inches all the way up to 28 and a half inches in half inch increments on the mod. No additional parts required on this new immerse four track cam system. The bow mass weight comes in at just under four pounds. It's available in two peak weight options, a 50 pound peak weight and a 60 pound peak weight. And both of those have a 30 pound adjustment range.
What do I do with my hand? Not that I was waiting for.
I'm here with Dan Karcher, a product manager here for the outdoor group, and he's going to walk you through the factory and show you how the immersa is made.
We take a lot of pride in our manufacturing capabilities here at the outdoor group and we do everything from machining to decorating to assembly, all in house. To start the manufacturing process for the immerse, we take a casterizer and start machining it in our CNC machines. We do all the cams, mods, accessories in house, such as the cable splitters. Those are all done on the CNC machines as well. Once the risers and components are done being machined, we bring them over To a staging area where they go into a cleanup process, Whether that be tumbling or deburring. Once the riser components are done with deburr and tumbling, they come out like this. And the ultimate goal is to have them decorated, kitted out, and built up to your final product. So once the risers and components are powder coated, they're then pushed into a giant oven where it's baked and cured. And that'll improve the durability of the finish.
Now, we had some immersed limbs come over, Going through, getting them deflected. This is going to let us know if they're going to be 50 or 60 pound bows. From this point, they'll go over to our limb printer area. This is where we'll load up a tray of 24, run it through the system. This is where your imaging is going to come up set to 24.
And.
Then each limb will go through and be printed.
So you see here they start putting the cams on the limbs, Start getting everything built out, and then once that sub assembly is complete, It'll come over here to finish assembly, where the bows get built up, strung up, timed, and tuned. Once assembly is complete, the bows get staged over here to be ready for packaging. And then once, once the bows are packaged, they get ready to be shipped to a dealer near you.
