Hey guys. Shane here. Bow deer for Great Plains Traditional Bow Company. And today we wanted to show you a great way to get ready for deer season. What we're using here is an FAAA target. National Field Archery Association. You got your five, four, three, two, one rings here. And all you do is just buy you a block target, any kind of block target and glue it on. We're going to show you how to do that right now. Get you some contact adhesive. Go. So here's your contact adhesive. It's just 3m high strength, 90. Really great stuff. You can use it for all kinds of stuff. And you just spray the back of your target. Make sure you get the edges. Spray that. This stuff has to set up. It has to get tacky. You can't just put it right on. It has to get tacky. But you don't need a lot of it. It's a contact adhesive. You have to spray the target too. So here's our block target. And you can see we have. We have two targets on here. Ready? But that's alright. You can go right over top of it. Hurt Nothing. We're just going to go ahead and spray this. We kept score up here a little bit. You can see. And the rules are you have to shoot 12 rounds of five shots each. So 60 shots all together and you score those like I pointed out before, the 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Starting at the middle. If you get 270 or above, you should be planning on going to the nationals. Because that's how good of an archer you are. Anywhere over 200 is an excellent archer. Anywhere from about 150 to 200 is average and then 150 below. You better do a little more practicing for deer season. Alright, we'll let that set up just a little bit and then we'll stick her down. Alright. So pretty tacky. Now you can see it doesn't see how that's tacky. We're just gonna go ahead and stick this on here. Real simple, put it where the old one was. And a brand new target, you're good to go. We got our target set up here. We're ready to go. And of course, if you're doing this, you need to be shooting a Great Plains bow. Because that's the bo you want to shoot. That's the bow you want to be killing your deer with. They're just an awesome bow. They're excellent. So this is great practice for deer season. And if you're ready, it's already August, what, 16 today. So if you're ready to get ready for deer season. I know the rut is probably here in Kansas. The rut's in November, so you got a little bit of time, but don't hurt to start, start practicing. Shoot this every day. And if you can consistently get 200 points every time you shoot, you're ready, you're ready for deer season. So let's see how we do on the first round it. So there you have it, guys. That's 20 yards. You can't shoot any closer than 20 yards. Anything under 20 yards, if you're a traditional archer, you know that it's basically point and shoot. There's not much you don't have to have a lot of skill, but at 20 yards, you got to have a little bit of windage, a little bit of elevation. But here on the target with your touching, you scored. So I got two fives, a four. That gets me at 14. I'm touching the three mark, so that gets me at 17 and two. That's 19 points. That's a pretty good score. It's not bad. You know, it's not Olympic standard by any level, but you're going to kill a deer at that score. So that's all for now, guys.
