March16 24 Turkey's, Sheds, Dead Deer Heads...

A short YouTube video (March 16, 2024) featuring Craig from BoQuest on a spring turkey scouting trip. Craig describes his bow setup (Toxic Craft riser, Yuka EX1 monolithic carbon limbs, ILF configuration), walks a creek looking for roosts, sheds, and a dead deer head, takes a few practice shots while squatting in the creek, and highlights BowQuest’s feature to store memories tied to the bow by touching a phone to a chip on the bow so future owners can access photos and videos.

What'd you find? What'd you find? What is it? Good boy. Hey, folks, Craig with BoQuest again. And yes, we are standing or actually squatting here right in the middle of a creek. There's a reason for that we'll get to in a second. But out today, just doing a little spring turkey scouting, kind of seeing where they're at, seeing if I can find some roost. And turkey season will be coming in next month. Carrying today, we got the toxic craft riser here by Bob. Nice little, nice riser. ILF configuration. Got some Yuka EX1 monolithic carbon limbs on it, which is kind of an interesting, interesting setup there with the solid carbon limbs. I like it. I've hunted with this bow for a couple years, so. Sweet little bow. And of course, we've got our bow quest bow tag on it, which I'll talk about here in a little bit. But what we're doing out here in the creek mainly is scouting around a little bit. Found. Found a nice deadhead earlier. Young little buck, which is a shame to lose a young little buck. But we'll keep scouting around. Maybe we can pick up some sheds. But main thing we're doing, if you hunt like I do, you like to wander around, maybe still hunt a little bit. You just never know where you're gonna get a shot from. We can't count on that. Nice standing broadside, you know, Able to get my shoulders square and my feet square and get my perfect form down. So we're gonna take a few shots sitting right here in the creek. So I've got an old dead lob over here and we're gonna see how things go right over the left shoulder. Squatting in the creek here. Kind of nice and kind of fun. So there we go. That one nicked a little limb, but it still went right in there in the sweet spot. So even on days like this, I've got. I got my bow tag on here on the bow. This is a cool little walk down this creek. Great little video, great time, beautiful day. Found a pretty cool little deadhead here and hopefully we'll find some more sheds. So I'll take these videos and these memories. I'll touch my phone to this chip. It'll open up. Say, hey, you want to add an event? And I'll add a. Add a walk today to it. So I'll store this video and a few cool pictures in here. Someday down the road, one of my boys or girls will have this bow and they can just touch a phone to it and open up and they'll see all the memories I made with it. So that's what we do at Bow Quest, is kind of take that traditional world and store all those great memories and all the heritage and all the stuff we do, but we keep the memories right inside so that they're forever. So, hope you guys are having a great time. Hope you're out walking around as well. Find something you love out here to do and let the world kind of fade away a little bit. Maybe spend a little time sitting in a creek. And of course, the million dollar question everyone has is, where'd all those arrows go? Let's walk over here and try not to get too deep so the water gets over the top of my boots and see how that shot not perfect. And like I said, that one kind of nicked one of these little saplings here, but it still went in there pretty close. But I'd say if that was a turkey, we'd be having turkey breast on the smoker tonight. Hope you all have a great one.
