The letter G stands for giving up a negative habit that drains your confidence. Pick one: late-night eating, sugar, smoking, staying up late, anger, impatience. Dropping it builds self-esteem and a healthier mindset.

Hi, you're watching the A to Z series of how to inculcate a high self-esteem. Yesterday I spoke to you about forgetting, about forgetting all the negative emotions or any negative preconceived notion that you have made about somebody, forgetting that and building new ones. Today we have the letter G and I'm going to talk about to give up. So now, immediately, I want you to think of one habit that you want to give up. It could be a food habit. For example, I'm not going to eat dinner after 9 o'clock. I want to give up eating after 9 o'clock. It could be a food item. I want to give up sugar, or I want to give up chocolate, or I want to give up aerated drinks. Or it could also be giving up any kind counterproductive habit which actually affects a healthy lifestyle. It could be, I want to give up smoking, or I want to give up staying late at night on weekdays, or I want to give up getting angry, or I want to give up getting impatient. So right now, while you're watching me, pick one habit or one characteristic, one quality, or one person that you want to give up in your life. Once you're ready with that, you're ready, you're ready, and you're on your way to building a higher self-esteem. Once you give up a negative or an unhealthy or a bad habit, quality, or trait, you start becoming more and more positive. Healthier, and overall, obviously, your confidence increases. So today, what are you giving up? Stay tuned, I'll see you tomorrow with the letter H. Bye!
