As a teenage psychologist, I have seen this trend going viral and it's damaging your teenager. Vaping is the new silent epidemic. Kids as young as 13 are hiding vapes in pencil boxes, in hoodies and bags. Bubble gum, mango, mint— they all look harmless, but one vape pod contains as much nicotine as a full packet of cigarettes. Nicotine in a developing brain hooks them instantly. It weakens memory, it increases anxiety, it disrupts focus and makes them dependent before they even realize it. So as they grow up, they become addicts and it's not the traditional smelling cigarette, you know, which we can find out when they are smoking. This nobody knows, we don't even understand. So what we need to do is we need to stay alert, we need to keep connecting with our children. So don't assume that your child will never vape. You to build trust so that when they try the vape, they can talk to you about it. Vaping is not cool. It's a trap that is designed to captivate, to capture your child and make them a slave forever. And the only way to avoid your child from vaping or to protect your child from vaping is connection and trust. The more you talk to them, the more you connect with them, the more you love your child, the more they will become aware and they will love themselves and not get into self-sabotaging addictions.
