Who is the best parent? Is it somebody who is 100% with the child, making them eat, making them sleep, bathing them, you know, spending all the time with them, and at the end of the day feeling exhausted, tired, regretful, and frustrated, you know, feeling like they've sacrificed everything? Or is it someone who balances everything, you know, she doesn't give up her dreams, her goals, yet she's there with the child, not when the child needs her, but also when she just wants to be her best self with the child? I think it's the second one, you know, where you can patiently be there, present, mindfully Mindfully giving your best to your child, even if it is 10 minutes a day, I think it's enough. But those 10 minutes should be the most meaningful time of your child's life. It should be something that your child remembers. At the end of the day, if you ask your child what was the best part of your day, the child should say, Mama, the 10 minutes I spent with you really meant the world to me. I really enjoyed it, right? So I hope this was, um, awakening for you. You know, a lot of mothers come to me and say that we don't spend— how much time is the right time to spend with your child? And my answer is, whatever time that you can give your child. Where you are your best self is the best for the child. Where you are calm, where you are centered, where you are not angry, where you are not screaming or cranky or frustrated is the best. Each mother has their own quantity of time to give the child. So don't stress, don't think that, oh, I have to spend 1 hour a day with my child, 5 hours a day with my child. Even if you're doing 10 minutes or 20 minutes, just be there mindfully present.
