Hi there, Sidharth Rajak here. Once again, thank you for tuning to yet another episode of the Freedom Business podcast. And these 27 factors that I'm going to be talking about is there in my international best selling book you can coach. If you go to Amazon and search for you can coach the Siddharth Rajshekhar, you'll find my book over there. Please pick up your copy. I actually go deep into sharing not only these 27 buying triggers that make people buy, but but also a whole bunch of other stuff on how you can launch your coaching business. So let's talk about sales. Sales. As I said before, it is never a logical decision. Most of the time we buy stuff emotionally and then we rationalize this, we rationalize it after we have bought the product or we have bought that service. So it is an emotional decision. And what I'm going to share with you now are 27 emotions that really make people buy. And you can pick any one of these 27 and incorporate that into your marketing advertising to really strike that emotional chord to help people move towards making that decision much faster than just trying to check out your information. So it's all about making a decision and it's about transacting with conviction also from their side. So the first emotion is fear. And this is one of the most important things. A lot of people, they buy products or they buy, you know, any kind of health coaching or anything else when they, when they know that they have a problem. Like even when we go to the Doctor and the doctor says that this is the problem we are immediately out of fear. We go and buy the solution to that problem. Now, this fear psychology, you need to be sure about which industry you're going to be using it. You can't use it in every place. And you have to be using it very carefully because this is again, messing around with people's heads that something could go wrong with them. And if you're going to be using it all the time, which is not a very positive kind of thing, I mean, it's going to backfire on you. So the first emotion is fear. The second emotion is desire. Like, how do you really achieve something better? So it's on the opposite side of the spectrum. But fear and desire are the top two emotions that actually make people buy. So the desire to achieve more, the desire to make more money, the desire to look more beautiful, the desire to have an amazing relationship, the desire to become more healthy, and all of that stuff. The third emotional decision or the third factor that make people buy is safety. So if you have a product or service that really can, you know, that has that emotion, that can solve a problem of safety, please go ahead and use that. The fourth factor that makes people buy is adventure. So the emotion of going and exploring something new. The fifth factor that makes people buy is significance. By buying your particular product or service, are they going to feel more, you know, accepted in the world, in society, are they going to be more significant? You can use that emotion. Number.
Six is they want better relationships. Okay, people. If you, if your product or service can help people build more meaningful relationships, they'll make the buying decision. Number seven is better health. Number eight is success. They want to buy. They want to buy a product or service to become more successful. Number nine is they purpose. Okay, Number nine is purpose. If you can, if your product or service is going to help people align themselves with their higher purpose, it was going to help them find their purpose. They'll make that buying decision. So we've covered the first set of nine. Fear, desire, safety, adventure, significance, better meaningful relationships, better health, success and purpose. We'll come to the second set. Now, the second set is growth. Starting with growth, which is technically now the buying trigger. Number 10. Now, if your product or service can help people grow, that is number 10, appreciation by them. Buying a product or service, are they going to be appreciated more? That's another trigger. If your product and service can save time for people, they will go for it. If a person can achieve their results faster, they will go for it. If they can. If they can get a better deal than somewhere else, better deals, that's also an emotional trigger. If they can get something cheaper in price as compared to a competitor, that's also a buying trigger. If your product can actually help people with security, they're going to feel more secure, that's a buying trigger. If it's going to help them become more attractive, that's a buying trigger. And if it's going to give them more comfort, that's also buying trigger. Okay, so the second set of nine are growth, appreciation, something that helps them save time, something that they can achieve faster, better, cheaper, security, attractive and comfort. Okay, now we'll come to the third set of nine that actually make people buy products or the third, the third set of emotions. One is happiness. You know, happiness is a very intangible thing, but it is a very powerful emotion. Okay? So you know, if your product or service can actually make people more peaceful and happy from within, and there are enough case studies and success stories and testimonials that depict that you're going to see more people move and transact with you. Another thing that makes people buy is the story. Like if you share a compelling story that really connects with their story and they're able to see that rapport that's built, that's also a conversion point. People also buy these days if they want something new and latest. Like Apple is an example of this. So they launched the latest iPhone and everybody goes and buys even though they may have an existing phone that is doing really well. So some people, they go and buy just because they want to be on the cutting edge and have something, have it first. People also buy when you are able to establish your trust and authority on a very deep level. People buy some products when they feel too bored. Okay? So boredom is also an emotional trigger. So if your product is going to be solving that problem of boredom where they can do something more exciting, they will go and buy. A lot of people, they buy products even based on the emotion of nostalgia. So for example, if you're from school and you know there is some something that reminds you back to your school days or some kind of old products. Like recently I bought the Nintendo Legacy because I used to play Super Mario a lot. I just saw it and I was like, this is a no brainer. I'm just going to buy this because it's going to bring back the nostalgic mode of me playing during my school days. Another thing that helps people buy is to overcome addiction. So if somebody's addicted to something and you want to help them overcome that. And if they know they're going to solve that problem, that's also an emotion. Another thing that people, another emotion that makes people buy is exclusivity. So there are only limited number of pieces or limited number of stock. And I know this about, I know about this in Montblanc. I actually buy Montblanc pens and there are some of these premium like pens which are worth maybe 5 lakhs, 10 lakh rupees. It's very exclusive. They may have only, let's say 100 pieces or 200 pieces in the world. Very exclusive. That's also something that people will be attracted towards to go and buy. And of course the last point, the last emotion is self worth worthy. If they are able to go through your product or service and they feel more worthy about themselves, if it's going to raise their self worth, then they will actually invest. So the third set of nine are happiness, the story, something that's new and latest, something that establishes trust, something that takes them out of being bored, something that connects them to the nostalgic emotion, overcoming addiction, exclusivity and self worth worthiness. So These are the 27 factors that actually make people buy. And I've given you this Entire list of 27 because you can, you know, if you're taking notes on this, you have all these 27 points over here and you can see how you can connect your product or service to one or more of these emotions. And if you can actually depict that in your presentation, if you're doing a webinar or a one to one, if you can just hit those emotional chords with the right examples and analogies, you'll be amazed at the kind of sales that you'll be able to get. Because it's all about an emotional decision. People buy only because they want to emotionally achieve something and they want one of their deep core emotions or vacuums to be filled. And if you can just communicate that in the most powerful way, the offer is just there, people will go and actually transact and buy. Okay, so I hope you found this podcast useful.
