It's been a decade long journey since I got into the training and coaching business. And in this particular podcast, I want to share with you where I see it going in the next 10 years and where you need to keep yourself tuned if you want to make it successful. Things are changing super fast and what I'm really happy about is that the training coaching industry in India has truly matured and evolved in the last three to four years and it's just going to get better and better over time. Now when any industry grows, what you'll actually notice is that a lot of noise will start to get formed. Like even if you remember back in the day when we had had these, the MBAs that were launched in many colleges, so all over the India we had many of even the smaller colleges offering an MBA program. But doing an MBA in a IIM compared to doing an MBA in a regular polytechnic kind of a college in a tied to city, there's a huge difference in that. Now similarly, even in the training and coaching industry, while it is booming and it has been booming the last three to four years, we've also seen a lot of substandard content, substandard players that have come in the market who just, you know, who getting in to make a quick buck, make some quick money and you know, just put some money into ads and start to promote whatever stuff that they have. So we've had one category of those kind of coaches who have come in, but many of them have fizzled out. Meaning that the ones that have truly stood the test of time are the ones who have been delivering continuous and consistent value over time, where they've worked up on themselves and they have truly got results for their students. So where I see the industry going in the next decade is that this is going to get better and better in terms of the market having the maturity to choose who they want to work with. In other words, the market is smart enough just in the last three to four years to see through the fluff that is there in the market to see through the noise and to decide who they want to work with. Okay? And this regularization is going to happen eventually and it's going to get better and better. When I say better, what I mean is there will be people who are absolutely with not much knowledge about the training coaching industry. They may see some ads, they may buy some products, they may waste some money here and there. And then when they actually come to the, you know, the people who are truly making a difference, they will start to, you know, gravitate towards those coaches and trainers and they will start to consider those communities as their homes. In other words, it's more like the nomads exploring various different towns and villages and then they're reaching home and they want to, they'll start settling down in, in where they're comfortable with. Now this is what's happening right now. And I'm observing this because I've been in this industry for over a decade right now. The first five years I was actually running campaigns promoting people like Robert Kiyosaki, Tony Robbins, Brian Tracy and many others. And I was more like a service provider and the guy behind the campaigns of many of these successful, you know, people in the personal development world, including Tony Robbins. Many of his UPW events, we did the promotions in the year 2015, 16, 17 we did for three consecutive years. And then the last five years of my journey as I'm recording this podcast, has been where I've been in the trenches myself doing the work. And we have over 100,000 plus learners in our learning management system right now and been able to create, you know, hundreds of six figures success stories and stuff like that. So what I wanted to share in the last five year journey for me personally is that unless a coach or a trainer is in the game day in, day out and getting continuous feedback from their community and continuously improving and adapting their systems, they are never going to be sustaining in the market. What do I mean by that is let's say you're a trainer in your coach. Maybe you're a business coach, you're a career coach, or a health coach, or a wealth coach, you're a stock market expert, you're a relationship coach, or you're into arts, creative, whatever may be your macro niche that you've actually picked. The key to this game is step number one is start building a community.
Don't just sell products or don't just sell programs, start creating a community model. That's the first step. The second step is to get results for your community. Now how do you get results for your community? By gamifying the entire experience. That means having at least three to four different milestones that they need to cross to achieving a superstar award. And that's like how I have a 1 crore champion award, a 10 crore champion award and then to achieve that they need to achieve a Hall of fame and a freedom Finisher award. So I have at least four levels of gamification that people need to go through in this journey. So step one is to build the community. Step two is to gamify the community. And step three is to get feedback from the community. And as, as your students are getting results. Like in my case, I have, you know, this thing called hall of Fame and I have a group called the hall of Fame Mastermind. Okay. All the hall of Fame members are there and I used to be doing hall of Fame masterminds to collect ideas from the hall of Fame members on how else are they implementing the same, you know, things that I've given them. And it's not that my ideas are the best ideas. I get the best of the best ideas from my own students. And now that hall of Fame Mastermind has evolved into a quantum mastermind where I'm working only with the cream or the top 100 of the coaches in our country. And as and when we do our monthly Mastermind calls, not only I share my ideas with them, but they also share the ideas with me. And it's very open, structured format that I've actually created. And this collective consciousness and the collective ideas that are created is what's creating overall progress. So that's a step three is to tap into the power of the mastermind of your community. Okay, so step one is build a community. Step two is gamify the community and get results for your community members. And step three is to get feedback from your community in terms of ways you can improve as well as new ways of implementation. So the way that I see the training and coaching industry evolving and growing is that those coaches and trainers who are able to apply this three step process that I just shared will be the ones who will be able to quickly adapt to the fast changing times. And they'll be more relevant and more attuned to their audience and their audience will be more attuned to them by fact of the persistence, the consistency and the continuous evolution of their own model. Okay, so what I used to be teaching in the 2018, 2019 is quite drastically changed compared to what I'm teaching right now. And in fact, it's become simpler than ever before. So the number of people who are coming out in terms of results in our community is growing at a massively fast pace. You know, I don't have time to document my hall of Fame interviews because there are at least like 50, 60 people waiting now for me to interview and I've still not done an interview because I don't have time. I've become the bottleneck of this. So we are doing like group interviews right now and I'm getting, you know, more and more people to come for My live events where I'm felicitating them on stage and where in one shot I'm able to felicitate and give awards to many of them in one go. So those are the different initiatives that I have done because of the effectiveness and the simplicity of the model that has been created. Now coming back to the original point, where do I see this industry growing in the Next, you know, five to 10 years is number one, as I mentioned before, is those who are building communities and innovating around that. They are the ones who are going to be standing the test of time. Okay, now let's look at the market side of it. The students who are learning from various different trainers and coaches. Once they start to taste different kinds of trainers and coaches, they will start to gravitate towards the trainers and coaches that they're able to align within value system. Okay. Which means that if you are a trainer or a coach who's only forefronting your entire positioning based on the knowledge or information that you have, you're already going to lose the game. What do I mean by that is if, if you're only. If your USP is only information, you can be replaced by ChatGPT and so many other tools where people can get a better information than you. So it is not about the information that you give, but it is about engaging your community and having that level of transparency and trust with your audience by being vulnerable, by sharing your mistakes, by openly sharing what's working and what's not working for you, and by creating.
An environment where every person in the community feels that they are a part of something bigger than just that information. You know, one of the reasons I have a high stickability in Internet lifestyle hub as a community over the last five years is like especially the last one year to two years, the people have been coming in, they've been attending all of my calls. You know, the stickability is much higher compared to my first two years in the game. In fact, the first two years of students that I, you know, brought into my community, many of them are not very active right now because even I was just starting off at that point of time. But now my systems are better, the process is better, the people are feeling more attuned to what they're looking for, many of them are getting results, they feel that they're at home. So one of the reason that's happening is not not just because of gamification, but it's because of the open hearted conversations and the collaborations that I'm creating between the community members and Creating like a family like bonding atmosphere. You know, I'm creating an environment where we have a strong code of honor, where there is mutual respect and trust for each other and we are not here to just, you know, self promote each other, rather we are here to help and support each other. That's what is the vibe of the entire community. And this does not happen overnight. It takes a lot of time to build a culture like this. So back to the original point is that if you are a trainer or a coach and if you are not creating cultures where people want to be with you not for what you teach, it's not about information, but for the experience that you're able to give them that's going to be more sustainable than information. Because once again, back to that point, if you are just riding this entire wave purely based on your information, it's only going to be a matter of time where somebody else with better information will, will outrank you or they will, you know, they will attract more people towards, towards them. So the stickability of a knowledge business or a coaching business, it is not about information, it is not about the latest trend, it is not about what was the hottest thing in the market to do that. It is not about the latest tool, it is not about the latest tactic, but it is about a bigger mission and a bigger purpose. So when your community is built around a mission or a purpose, like in my case, our strong mission is to redefine our education system by creating a new breed of teachers and leaders. And that's what we are doing. We are actually creating in one sense, we are also literally like a university for digital leaders. Okay. We can't officially call ourselves a university because, you know, we have to go through a formal process. But we are not the formal education system. We are an alternate education system and we are, we are truly an academy for digital leaders and creating leaders of tomorrow, okay. Who are equipped with the knowledge, the skill set, the mindset and the tools for them to actually move forward and make it happen. So what I'm here to tell you is that the future of this entire training coaching industry is going to be beyond knowledge. It's going to be more around communities, it's going to be more around gamification, and it's going to be more around how you can activate them and generate the best ideas from the tribe itself and to facilitate those kind of transformations and collaborations with student results being your number one focus. If your results and your sales and your profits is, is on the forefront of your business plan, there's only. It's only going to be a matter of time where somebody else can replace you. But if your focus is on your student results and how many success stories you can create on a monthly basis and you can deliver that, that's going to be the next level game.
