How To Be Consistent In Content Creation?

Siddharth Rajsekar answers how to be consistent in content creation by emphasizing that creators are human (not robots), and recommending energy management (sleep, food, water), careful information intake (consume high-value info, digest it, then create), focused creation blocks (about two hours, remove distractions), accountability partners and reward systems, and a service-oriented intention rather than chasing fame.

How to be more consistent in content creation when there are so many distractions that are there in this world. My name is Siddharth Rajshekhar. I'm going to be answering this question in this podcast.
Hey there, Sidh here. Thank you for tuning in once again to the Freedom Business podcast. And if you've not subscribed to this podcast, please do that on Apple, Spotify and other places so that you get notified on my future episodes. So this is going to be a topic which is many of my students have asked me on, when it comes to consistency, how can we be more consistent on content creation and of course, overall consistency in business and what happens when you're not consistent. So first off, let me just tell you that you're not a robot, you're a human being. And there are some days where you're gonna be having the right energy to do stuff, some days you're not gonna have the energy to do stuff. And that's perfectly fine. Just don't be too hard on yourself. That's the first point. What I wanna mention is consistency is more of being in the flow and not really being rigid and breaking and being too hard on yourself just because you're not able to finish something at the time that you said that you would do it. So I want to just take that out of the way and share with you what has been working for me because I've posted many hundreds and thousands of pieces of content over the last few years on social media that has resulted in multiple millions of dollars in revenue sales. And you know what? I'm not the most consistent person and it's perfectly fine. So see, sometimes when it comes to topics like creativity and bringing out your creation, See, because content creation, the word creation has a lot to do with creativity. So sometimes when you are in the creative zone, it cannot be forced. Creativity cannot be really pushed out of your systems unless you're in the right zone and the right space of thinking. I'm a musician. I can tell you from my experience whenever I sit, when I used to be making tracks, I used to try really hard to bring out the best, but it would never happen. But when I would relax and just do it in my own flow, that's when the best ideas actually have evolved, even my musical journey. And the same I can see applying even in a knowledge business. So don't worry too much about consistency, but be more aware of your energies, you know, and whether you're in the state of flow or not. So how do you ensure that you are able to be, you know, in that state of flow for a long enough period of time. It starts with inputs. Okay, what inputs are you giving yourself in your body that either raise your energy or decreases your energy? I'm talking about the food that you eat, the water that you drink, and enough sleep that you get. Okay, that's the first part of the answer I'm going to give you. The second part of your energy are the inputs that you give in terms of information in your head. And when it comes to information, there are three parts to it. Okay, One is consumption of information. Are you consuming just the news and all the other random stuff online or are you consuming high value information? That's really enriching and uplifting for yourself, you know, and your business. So when you consume the right thing. The second part about information is digestion of the information, just like how you digest food and the same way you need to assimilate that information. And the third part is creation. Okay, so there is consumption, there's assimilation, and then there's creation based on whatever you've assimilated. And the creation happens when you're able to connect all the dots and not just be a copycat, but you're taking, you know, the ideas, what you got from other places and representing it in your own unique way based on your own experience. Okay, so when it comes to consistency, first you got to look into the inputs, the, you know, information inputs and the energy inputs like food and sleep and having all of the stuff. Okay, and then comes the other part to how to be more consistent is to create a kind of a framework where you can work in chunks of two hours of time. So for example, this podcast, when I'm recording, I'm very focused on this. I've like put my mobile phone on airplane mode, I've locked myself in the room and I just thought about this one topic and how I can answer this in the best possible way. Okay, so when you are in a focused mode and when you're removing all the pop ups from your life, I'm talking about deleting those social media apps and removing notifications from your phone that will get you into a zone where you are not going to be distracted. And when you're in that zone and, and when you allocate specific time of the day just for creating things based on what you have consumed and assimilated, that's going to make the entire process happen so much more smoother. Now the third part of the entire game is to be more consistent is having some kind of an accountability partner or a buddy or some kind of a person who you can tell them that, hey, I'm going to be doing 10 pieces of content this month and end of this month I want you to check on with me to see if I've done it or not. Okay? So some kind of an accountability or a buddy system that you can create with someone that will ensure that you're not going to take things easy and you can also reward yourself for something like this. So let's say if you're going to be doing 10 pieces of content for the month, you can decide, okay, If I do 10 pieces of content, I'm going to be rewarding myself X something, okay, maybe you want to go, go out and have an ice cream, as simple as that. Or you want to buy something for yourself just to reward yourself for the action that has been taken. It could be a small reward, it could be a big reward that you can decide for yourself. So when you are able to be aware of the inputs, when you are able to ensure that you have a buddy or an accountability partner, and when you have a kind of a reward system for yourself for completing that action, you're going to be moving into the the zone of consistent action taking. And of course the underlying principle is don't be too hard on yourself. Be flexible. Be fixed on your vision, but be flexible on how you get there. Be fixed on your goals, be flexible on how you get there. There are going to be days where your mood is going to be down and that's perfectly fine. We are human, we are not robots as I mentioned in the beginning. So that's my answer to the question on how to be consistent in content creation. And of course in all of this stuff, it's not about the content that you create and how polished you make it. It's about what is your intention. And are you really out there putting out that piece of content to serve others or are you putting it out there just to get more name and fame and glory? Now if that's going to be your the main thing to focus on, it's going to be short lived game. But when you're able to create content where you don't bother about your name and fame, but you're just focused on solving other people's problems and being honest and transparent and authentic, you know, it'll snowball over time and you will start to love the process of content creation. And the love that you get from your audience will encourage you to do more and more and more without being told that you have to do it. All the best.
