You know, selling is the core of any business growth. And if you're not able to get predictable sales, then you don't have a business. And most people and most entrepreneurs, they're not able to grow because they're not able to face the rejections when it comes to sales. Because rejections is the. It's something that comes along with sales. And in this particular podcast, I'm going to share with you 10 different ideas on how you can get better at selling your own product or your service so that you can reach out to more customers and make selling as a form of service so that you can deliver an impact with your audience. Hi, my name is Daat Rajr. I'm the founder of the Internet Lifestyle Hub and I'm on a mission to help a million people build a business that can run without them and live a lifestyle of freedom by implementing systems and technologies. I'm also on a mission to redefine the education system by creating a new breed of teachers. This is going to be a podcast on sales and let's get in.
Even in my dreams, I did not know that I would be able to achieve over $5 million selling digital products just in the last few years and documented over 60 success stories in my community who have crossed over 1 crore. Following my selling methodology, I teach people how to sell through webinars and and also to upsell and create different kinds of sales strategies with high ticket programs as well using leveraged funnels and videos, not just one to ones. So what I've actually done is I've broken down to 10 different principles that have helped me grow in my own business and that I've helped my students. And this is going to give you some ideas on how you can get better at sales. So the first principle please note down is that if you want to get good at sales, you've got to understand human behavior. Because selling is never a logical decision. It's always an emotional decision. And we rationalize it only after we have bought. Just think about any product that you might have bought. Maybe you bought a new iPhone or you bought a new MacBook Pro or whatever, but it was not about the logical thing that you wanted to purchase it. You wanted to emotionally buy that you had some emotional connection with that product or the service. Okay, so once you understand this one principle that humans, as humans we, we go and purchase things emotionally and we rationalize it later, once you're able to understand that, you're going to get much better at sales because then you can really understand what emotions you can generate for people and connect them to your product. In fact, in my book, you can coach. I've done a research on 20 Plus, I think 27 buying triggers, emotional buying triggers that people actually get triggered by to make a purchase decision. If you have not bought my book, go to youcancoach.com and pick it up. It's on Amazon. Second point is you need to get good at storytelling. Facts tell, but stories sell.
You look at any great marketer or anyone who's fabulous at selling, they are very good storytellers because people, again, connect to emotions. And if they can see themselves in that story that you're sharing, they feel that they can actually do it too. And then they make the decision to move forward. So no matter how many features and benefits you talk about, ultimately it is a story that will actually seal the deal. The third point is you need to craft offers that solves problems. Offer, you know, it all comes down to the offer. What is the offer? Is the offer irresistible or not? And how do you make it irresistible is by understanding the pain points of your customers or your target market and converting those pain points into tangible solutions that you incorporate as a part of the offer. And when you go through that, you know the whole sales process and you deliver an offer that's addressing the specific needs of your target market. And if they don't buy, they're going to feel guilty. So you basically break down resistances and give them the tangible solutions and craft the offer that they cannot resist. That's where you need to spend your time on. You want to get better at selling, spend more time on designing the offer. Number four is you can only get better at selling when you face more rejections. And I remember, you know, I started my sales experience in network marketing, so I used to show the plan to a whole bunch of people. They would watch my presentation and then they would say, no. I had at least 100 or 200 rejections in my first one or two years. And that actually has given me a kind of thick skin. So right now I don't really think about whether somebody's going to buy my product or not. I'm just going to transfer my emotion on why I feel it's going to be beneficial for them. And it's up to them whether they want to buy it or not. So most people, they don't get into sales because they don't like to face the rejections. So embrace rejections. That's point number four. The fifth idea is follow a selling system. See, selling is a System, it is a science. It is a process. It is a skill that has to be built over time. And when you're a part of my community, you will learn my webinar selling formula. There is a system. How do you start the webinar? How do you introduce yourself? How do you earn the right? How do you connect it to your mission? How do you get people into your. How do you get people to buy you first because they need to buy you before they buy your product? And then how do you deliver value and deliver your formulas in such a way that you blow people's minds away with the concepts that you're sharing? And then when you lead to the offer and get into the offer, there is the only logical decision that somebody has to make is just to buy. Okay? So you need to follow the whole selling system. And this is what I teach in my gold membership in my community. Number six is practice the wholesaling process. You may have learned the selling process from multiple places or you might have learned from a mentor, but unless you are putting it into practice, it's not going to work. Just like you read a thousand books on martial arts, but unless you go and fight in the dojo, you're not going to actually learn martial arts. No matter how many books you learn on swimming, unless you jump into the pool and swim, you're not going to learn same. When it comes to sales, unless you are able to go through the sales process and practice, practice, practice every day.
It'S not going to work. And I'm so glad that I went through so many webinars. I think I've done more than 600 sales webinars till now and counting. And even now I learn something new every time I do it. So it's never, you can never say that you are a master at sales, okay? You may learn everything, you may get good at it, but there's always the next level to move to. So practice the sales process and always keep practicing. Number seven is get feedback from non buyers. So what I used to do is in my webinars, if somebody would not buy my product, I would run a Google form and ask them to share with me on why they did not buy my product. Like, what is the resistance? And then I captured a lot of resistances and then I started to address those needs and resistances in my future webinars. Okay? So that way I was able to, you know, get better sales by understanding what keeps people from not buying. And I should address that. Number eight is authenticity. You know, people will buy from you. They'll buy your product only if they buy you first. I said this, right? And authenticity is when you're being real and transparent and when you're also setting the right expectations. So authenticity is also to set the expectations. In fact, in my webinars, I tell people that, you know, don't buy my product. If you are falling under these categories, if you're a student or if you're. If somebody just looking to get rich quick and stuff, don't buy my product. This is not for you. I only want people who want to commit themselves to this process, are willing to do whatever it takes, and are not looking for shortcuts. And when I'm authentic like that, and when I'm being very transparent about why it'll work for some people and it'll not work for some people, I get the right customers. That's how I've built a customer base of over 16,000 people who have bought my level one product. Okay. Number nine is if you want to get better at selling, don't focus on the sale, focus on the value. The value that you're delivering to the market. Whether they're going to buy or not is their decision. Yeah, all you have to, you have to focus on is to deliver the value, deliver the goods, make them, you know, give them tangible strategies and mindset principles that can actually help them progress in their life. And I tell people in my webinar, also, whether you bought my product or not, that is secondary. Let us begin our relationship starting in today's webinar. You can follow me on social media. You can follow me on YouTube, you can follow me anywhere. Just that when you pay and come into my community, there is more structured information. There's a community that you can get support of. But if you want to still learn from outside, you can learn from outside. You can figure things out on your own. That's fine. So I'm really not focusing on the sale these days. I'm only focusing on the value, and it's up to people to decide. And when you are having that detached mode, people will sense it and you'll actually get better sales and you'll have the right customers coming in. And finally, number 10 is you can improve your sales by getting feedback from your own community. Ask your own members, like, why did they buy from you? What factors inspired them to take that action? So, like this, you'll, you know, once you make a list of those points, probably you might have not thought about those points, and you can reiterate those points in your sales process. So overall, selling is a, is a science. It is something that has to be practiced. It is a system. And you have to get better at it by being at it on a daily, weekly basis. And that's why I tell my students, do two webinars a week, do three webinars per week if you want to. And just that'll that itself will make you practice whether somebody is going to buy in the webinar or not, whether there are many people in the webinar or not. You will get into the practice mode and you will become a confident communicator that will and, and once you master the art of one to many sales like you're able to get a lot of people to buy one to many rather than one to one. That's very high leverage. You can sell anything. So go through the process, go through the grind if you have to, and what's going to come on the other side will be really beautiful if you are able to, you know, stick on the path and really make it happen. So those are my points on how to become better at selling. Understand human behavior, get good at storytelling, craft offers that solve problems, face more rejections, follow a selling system, practice the sales process, get feedback from non buyers, be authentic, don't focus on the sale, focus on value, and get feedback from your community. These are the 10 points. I'm pretty sure if you implement even one of these consistently and consciously, you'll do much better in your next sales process.
