Siddharth Rajsekar breaks down organic lead generation into three steps: Connection (engage 20-30 targeted people daily), Conversation (build relationships without selling), and Conversion (move warm leads to webinars or calls). He covers tactics across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube, plus systems like email platforms and webinar funnels.
What are the different ways to generate organic leads and convert them into sales? That's the answer I'm going to give you in this podcast. Siddharth Rajshika here.
Hey there, Sidh here. Welcome to the Freedom Business podcast once again. And this is a topic that I got a lot of questions on from my community members asking how do you get leads organically without spending any money on ads and how do you convert those leads into sales? So I'm going to answer that in a very crisp way. This is a farming process, it's not a hunting process. If you are going to be going with a hunting mindset, it's going to backfire on you because people don't like to be sold to. And if you try to push your ideas or push your products or services at them, just like how a credit card company or any other insurance company keeps calling, cold callers call you and try to sell things to you, you shut the phone down, right? That's exactly what will happen. If you try to generate leads using force or generate sales using like push method. It has to be a pull method. You have to attract them to you. And for that there are three steps you have. There has to be a connection step, which is the first step you need to connect with an audience. The second step is you got to converse with the audience and create meaningful conversations and interactions. And the third C is conversion. So connection, conversation and then conversion. So these are the overall. If you see the principle behind organic lead generation, how do you do that? Now you have to think about.
Which platform are you going to be using to implement this organic strategy. Okay, so what is organic is where you're not putting any money in ads. So whether it's Facebook or Instagram or LinkedIn or let's say even if it's YouTube, there has to be a method that you need to follow to apply that. Convert, converse and. Sorry, connect. Converse and convert. Three steps that I mentioned. So, for example, if it's Facebook, what I would do is I would join different groups on Facebook and then rather than trying to share links and stuff like that, I would just connect with 20 to 30 people per day in the targeted groups where there's good engagement and there are no spammers in those groups. So if somebody has posted a really nice comment or given some point in a particular group on a particular topic, I would comment below that particular post saying that, hey, this is really interesting and I would probably add my own flavor to that particular conversation thread. So I want to ignite conversations. So the the connection step is to ignite a conversation and do it to at least do it with at least 20 to 30 people per day. Then the second step is the conversation will start. So a couple of things can happen. One is they may respond back and reply back to that same comment below the post or they may also message you privately saying that hey, I found your. I see that you commented below my post and tell me more about what you do, provided you have had a meaningful conversation. And. And when you're doing this conversation right, once you have started the interaction, never sell yourself again. Okay? Don't directly pitch and say, oh check out my website or check out my product. That'll immediately put. It's like pouring cold water on a spark that is just lighting out a fire. Okay, don't pour the cold water on it. And then so what you should do is you need to like open up the conversation and build a relationship and without any expectations of anyone who's gonna be buying from you. Okay? And conversion is actually a natural process where if they hey, what do you do? I saw your profile, it's pretty interesting at that point you can do two things. One is you can either get on a one to one call if you want to sell your product or service or the second thing is you can lead them to your webinar. Okay, if you're doing a webinar based format and this is a very organic strategy that I'm sharing with you, okay. Now the conversion can also happen where you're going to nurture them still further. So what I would do is I would, as the conversations are going on and if the question comes from their side that hey, tell me more about what you can do, I may send them to my VIP group on Facebook and say hey, just connect with me on my VIP group and I'll give you more information over there and we can also have a catch up on a one to one basis or you can also come to my webinar. Okay? So if you actually think about it, the whole principle of connection, conversation and conversion, there are many sub steps to it that you need to go deeper and plan out on a deeper level for you to make this organic thing work. Okay, now coming now to the other point which is which channel? So if it's Facebook, this is what I would do. If it's Instagram I would go and comment below post. But normally people don't see the comments below the post. I may try some DMs but usually Instagram everything gets lost. Okay, if it's Twitter, I would do inbox messaging, I would also reply back to below comments under high volume or high interactive threads. LinkedIn, I'll do the same. And on YouTube also, I could go below the comments and also do that. So the whole thing is when you are commenting below and spending your time and energy on interacting with other pieces of content, you need to, you know, do it with a genuine intent. And you should do it in a way where you're going to be standing out from the others who are interacting with, who come in with a mindset of just, you know, trying to sell their product or service. So whichever channel that you pick, where your audience is active, pick one channel and spend 30 to 40 minutes per day and have at least 20 to 30 touch points as like a routine that you can set for yourself. So if you do 20 touch points per day into 30 days in a month, you're looking at 600 touch points out of 600 touch points, easily 100 of them will start to respond and they may start a conversation with you, depending on how you are igniting the conversation. And then out of those 100, maybe 10, 15 of them, maybe, you know, they may end up getting more warmed up to what you're actually doing. And if you do this for a span of 90 days to six months, then you're going to have a substantial amount of momentum that you can build in influence building. And this is how I built my organic business. I organically built my client base when I was doing my agency business back in the day. Okay, so what systems do you need? We spoke about the principle, the CCC principle. We spoke about the channels. Now the third part is the systems. So you need an email marketing system to generate leads. You need ConvertKit, one of these tools that I'm using. I'm using ConvertKit, you can use, you need to have a proper lead magnet. What's going to be the lead magnet? You can do an ebook, you can do a one to one. You can give away a kit, some kind of sop, some downloadable, some giveaway free course, free webinar, you can decide on that. You can even do like a webinar as a lead magnet. So the webinar is a place where the actual conversion will happen because now you're going to be converting them from a warm lead to a hot lead and hot lead to a buying customer. That happens in a webinar. And the other system that you need is an appointment system like Calendly, which is an appointment system. So pretty much if you see, if you want to turn your organic.
You want to generate organic leads and convert that into sales. It's a manual P2P process, person to person connection process. It's a farming process. Don't expect results overnight. It's not like hunting, okay? You're not going there to hunt for a prey. If you go with this mindset and do it consistently for a long period of time, you'll be able to get results. Of course the fastest way to do things is to put money in ads and just get the traffic coming to you. But of course the conversions will not be as as effective as a super warmed up lead. So overall, if you see organic method, there is social media organic method, there's SEO, that's a totally different topic. And then you also have, you know, other ways where you can use influencers for to to actually shout out on your behalf and you start to get traffic coming your way based on what they have said. So that's also another organic way. But of course there's going to be some paid component where you're going to be giving the influencer to talk about you. So this this is my view on ways to generate leads. If you found this useful, please share your notes and give me your ideas in my in the comments below. If you're listening to it on my blog post.
