Should We Only Rely On Webinars For Sales?
11 Dec 2022 · 5 min
Siddharth Rajsekar breaks down three sales formats: one-to-one selling for high-ticket deals, live webinars for leverage (he built 20,000 customers this way and sometimes makes 10-20 lakhs in a single session), and automated selling. He says beginners should start with one-to-one conversations first, then run non-selling webinars to build confidence before selling.

Should we only rely on webinars for generating sales? That's the question that I've been getting a lot and I'm going to be answering this podcast the different ways to actually get more sales. Let's get in. Hey there, Sadh Rajekar. Thank you for tuning in to yet another episode of the Freedom Business podcast. And in this particular episode, I want to deconstruct what is sales and should you rely on webinars? That's a big question. Is that the only way to do it or there are other ways to do it? Or what is the difference between doing one to one sales and one to many sales? And, and at which stage should you approach each of the sales process? I'm going to just answer that question coming straight from my heart, from my mind, to you, and just take notes. And if you're listening to this on my blog, just share your perspectives also below in the comments or share your notes so that I can read them as well. Okay, so first off is sales is a transfer of emotion. Sales is a transfer of energy. And people, when they're able to sense that they can get a solution to whatever problem that they're facing, they would transact with you. So when there's a value exchange, that what, that's what sales is all about. When people see that there's value in what you're offering them and they're willing to pay you money for it, that value exchange is the process of sales. So the question is, should you only rely on webinars for sales? And the answer to it is no. You can do multiple ways of selling. And if you. The only reason I'm propagating webinars in a big way is because it is a very high leverage format. You know, it's one too many sales. But let me tell you what are the different ways you can sell. See, the first way and the most, the most powerful way to sell is one to one selling and one to one face to face selling. Now face to face does not have to happen in a physical location. It could also even happen on Zoom. So one to one selling is where you can actually understand the problem of your customer. You can gather all that data and then you can give them a particular solution and then give them an offer that actually they can buy. So the whole high ticket consulting model and the one to one base selling model has been very effective for selling higher value products. I'm talking about anything which is above 50,000, 1 lakh rupees, 2 lakh rupees based products it really works well in a one to one basis. Okay. And of course one to one, you can also sell low ticket and mid ticket products as well. But it's the most powerful and the most impactful way to sell. But the problem is you will hit a bandwidth. I mean, you can't scale this unless you build a sales team that can do multiple levels of selling. And there's a whole, you know, there's a whole topic of one to one closing that can be done. You can even have a team of closers and they can do a high ticket closing for you on a one to one basis. So that model really works well. Now when it comes to the second format, which is the webinar based selling, which is a live webinar based selling, that's what I have built my business on from day one. Okay? Meaning right now it's been more than four years and I have added over 20,000 customers into my community using webinars. The advantage of webinars, it is high leverage because you can actually do one to many selling. And I've had, I've also done webinars where I've got sales of more than 10 lakhs, 20 lakhs in a single webinar within 90 minutes. Because of the way that I've been able to educate my audience, engage with the audience, I set the expectations and then I sell my product. So there's a whole process to it that takes 90 minutes to two hours to make this happen. But the thing with webinars is you have to really work on your offer. You got to work on your own energy and you have to develop that skill of selling. It's not going to happen overnight. And many people who are brand new, I would suggest that you get comfortable in understanding your audience on a one to one basis before you get into one to many sales. And if you're doing one to many, if you're doing webinars, I would suggest that the initial webinars don't do any selling. Just get into the habit of engaging with people, giving good content, educating your audience and setting the expectations and getting the practice of that. In fact, if you're not a part of my community, this is what I teach in my hackathon, is I make people do webinars which are no sales webinars, where during the webinars they just get into the practice of delivering content and building confidence. And once the confidence builds up, then they can get into delivering the offer and stuff like that. So that is webinar sales once you're mastering all of this stuff simultaneously. Doing funnel based selling is one of the best ways, which is like automated selling, either in the form of automated webinars or you could also sell using videos. Like for me, you can also have like a simple landing page with a simple 20, 30 minutes video and you can directly sell through that video, provided you have the confidence to be able to deliver the impact within a short period of time. Okay, just like this podcast, it's 4 minutes 22 seconds and I'm sure you've got hit by a lot of value just in a very short span of time. Similarly, even in a video, if you can do that, you can sell through videos as well. So the question, the answer to the question, should we only rely on webinars for sales? The answer is no. You have to have multiple ways to sell. But webinars give you the highest leverage and impact on a one to many basis. Now, whether you're doing a webinar or a workshop or or if you're doing any other model, ultimately it has to it comes down to your sales pitch. What have you designed in the sales offer, how are you delivering it and how your energy is. And is what you're offering really matching with the market that is looking for the solution? Because when there's a message to market to offer match, only then you'll get better conversions. So I hope I've been able to answer your question and I've been able to give you clarity. Wish you all the best in getting more sales. If you're not yet a part of my community, there's a link in the description, check it out, attend my next webinar.
