Have you ever felt that no matter what you do not able to make progress in your business, you're not able to make progress in your life? In this particular podcast, I want to share with you six invisible anchors that are actually keeping you stuck. And in my 10 year journey in business, I realized that it's a very internal and a very subtle game to actually make progress and that to free flowing progress. And there are many people that I know, even when I was, you know, grinding it, I was trying everything. I had all the knowledge, I had all the skills, I had all the right intentions. But there were some internal factors that were not allowing me to move forward. And I thought I'll uncover that in this particular podcast. The first thing is your own beliefs about money. You have to go deeper and see what is your money blueprint. Like, what are the internal dialogues that you, you know, keep playing in your mind when it comes to money. Things like, you know, if you feel money does not grow on trees, rich people are bad. Like all of the typical stuff that the society projects. If you have any of those inner beliefs about money that are not serving you and supporting you, that is going to affect your money. The same thing, beliefs about money, beliefs about health, beliefs about relationships, that your own belief system on each of these will determine the reality in which you are in. So in other words, when you are able to shift your beliefs, you can, you can shift your life or change your life. And that is the first invisible anchor. And you have to really ask yourself why five times, like, why do you want money? You may have an answer. Okay, I want to buy a house. And why do you want to buy a house? Yeah, you want to have your family there. So why is it so important for your family? Maybe prestige, okay, you want to show others that you're prestigious. And then why do you, why do you so care about, why do you care about prestige? Then maybe there's somebody in your childhood who would have said that, you know, you're not good enough or something like that. So when you go back to the root and identify.
Where that desire is coming from, you will be able to better make peace with it and move forward. The second anchor is your beliefs about yourself. From what I have seen, most people who are living a flashy life, who are trying to showcase that they are something in this world. If you go back to their childhood, they. They have had the exact opposite of that. And all they're trying to do is filling that vacuum of not feeling good enough and representing that in flashy ways. When they grow big, when they actually start to make that money or get that fame and name and stuff like that. And when I look at all of these people are, you know, running ads and showcasing the lifestyle and, you know, all of that stuff, I know at an internal level that they're doing it because of their childhood. Maybe in the childhood they did not believe in themselves, Somebody would have told them, you're a waste, you're not good enough. And to prove to the world that they are good enough, they start to do all these different things and they start to chase awards, they start to chase the limelight, and they want to be something to the world because they were nothing in their initial days.
And that's one of the anchors. So the way to remove that anchor is to be in love with yourself and believe in who you are without comparing yourself with anybody else. The third invisible anchor that keeps you stuck is your beliefs about other successful people.
When you see somebody successful and in your mind, if there's some enviousness or jealousy or something that kicks in, it means that you have not yet evolved to a point where you're appreciating other people are successful. And that also acts as an anchor because you cannot be somebody that you despise. Same with rich people. When you see somebody rich and you say, oh, he's just a big shot, okay, that means you're putting them on a different category. Or say rich people are bad or rich people are arrogant, so you can never be somebody that you despise unconsciously.
The fourth invisible factor that's keeping you stuck is your relationship with your father figures and mother figures. Let's say, for example, you had a bad and rough relationship with your parents for whatever reason, maybe your father did not treat you well or your mother did not treat you well or something where you're holding a grudge against that. What happens is that acts as an anchor because you're operating from a space of.
It's a space where you are not in sync with the people who brought you into this world.
Another angle to it is I know many people where they have their father figure who is in a particular way. Let's say your father is making X amount of money because of that kind of reverence. You have with your father figure, you, at a subconscious level, don't want to make more money than that. Than that father figure, whether it's your own father or your mother or whatever. Yeah. And then what happens is you are conscious, you're unconsciously below that thermostat. And this is a situation that I was in in the initial days before I got into, you know, when I was just starting off in the personal development world. I have such a high regard for my father that I. That unconsciously I did not want to make more money than him every single year. And once I made peace with that, my income started to grow. And now, you know, it's gone to a whole different level. And I'm very happy that my, you know, my dad is appreciating me for whatever I'm doing right now. And I don't seek his approval. That is on one side, but I don't also.
Care that I am making more money than my father. Okay. When I say I don't care, it's more like it is not connected to this. It's giving me an opportunity to serve him, giving me an opportunity to respect him for who he is and understand where he is. So some of you may have this probe deep and you may find the anchor over there. For me, this was an anchor that I was able to come out of in 2016, 2017, and then everything started to move up from 2018 onwards. For many, many years, I had this thing. Your relationship with your father figure is one part, and your perception of how you're going to be in comparison with them. And you know what? Every father figure, every mother figure only wishes the best for their child and they would like to see you more successful than them. So give yourself the permission to step into your power and be that.
Another invisible anchor that keeps people stuck are the wounds from your childhood. I already mentioned this, but wounds like relationship wounds. Maybe if you were born in a situation where you were brought up in a point where your family got, you know, parents got divorced for whatever reason, then that pattern usually continues later on in life where all your relationships are usually very rocky.
Until you realize that there's a pattern that you need to break, and that comes with awareness. And I'll come to those steps next. Same with your health. Also, if you've seen, you know, anyone in your own family having poor health, there could be two things. Number one is you can either take on a totally different tangent of becoming and living a healthy life, or you could continue on the same pattern like in my Case, my dad was an alcoholic. My uncle was also an alcoholic. I've seen the times in my earlier days on how they would be like Jekyll and Hyde in the daytime, there would be normal people. In the nighttime, they would transform into something else.
Now, it was a wound in the initial days when I started, but as I went through personal development that actually I changed the perspective and turned that into a gift. Now it is because my father was an alcoholic, and now he's come out of it. And thanks to the gift of spirituality, we are nowhere close to that today. I can proudly say that if I had not gone through that experience in my childhood, I would not be living the life I'm living right now. In the sense that I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't have any other bad habits. I don't even drink tea and coffee. I don't even take caffeine. No addictions. But for me to realize that and integrate that lesson, I had to see it as a child.
So whatever wounds that you have from your childhood, you can either change the perspective of it or you continue with the same pattern. And then some other invisible anchors that can keep you stuck are wounds from your past life. Or it could also be some karmic baggage from your past life, which you may or may not even know what it is, but it is affecting you at this point. So now the question is, how do you, you know, overcome these anchors? How do you really make peace with these anchors so that you can move forward with momentum? The first step is awareness. Awareness comes through inner connection, inner connection with yourself, inner connection with the. With your creator and questioning yourself and asking your creator, asking your higher self, what can you do to serve better on this world? And what is the lesson that I need to learn? So through inner connection, you will start to exercise your intuitive side. All of us, we are senders and receivers of information. Our brain and our mind has amazing potential that we hardly even tap. And the more you are exercising your inner connection and awareness, you will be guided internally and intuitively.
The second step is acceptance. It's a big word when you're able to find the brilliance in every situation. Just like how I said. I can either complain all my life saying that my dad was an alcoholic, but I can say that what I could shift the perspective saying that if I had not gone through that, I would not be what I am today. I would not have the maturity to understand where I am today. So when you can find the brilliance in every negative situation, you will Automatically heal that. And the last step is action. Action. What can you do in such a way where you're not worrying about the fruits of the action? This is what we've read in many of the scriptures, like taking action without worrying about the result. Yes, we are ambitious, we are doing things. But you're doing what you're supposed to do and you're going to allow it to flow. So through awareness, through acceptance and through action, you will be able to slowly but steadily.
Slowly remove those invisible anchors that are keeping you stuck. And it's not like a one day thing, it's not like a one session thing, it's a continuous thing. And that's why I recommend all of you to spend every single day in surrendered prayer. To spend every single week or month in service to others it purifies. And to also give in charity regularly. So prayer, service and charity are the three magical elements that can help you get more aware, accept a situation and take action without worrying about the fruits and results. And by being in that zone, your beliefs about money will change, your beliefs about yourself will change, your beliefs about successful people change. Your relationship with your father figure, mother figure will shift, your wounds from your childhood will shift and possibly your wounds from your past life. You may not even know what healing you're doing, but it actually makes things move forward. So I want to share the last part of this podcast is a very powerful lesson. You will never be able to create an impact in the world if you don't love yourself. If you don't have self love.
And the first stage of self love is self care where you need to be decisive about what you really want. Caring for yourself, caring for your body, caring for your whatever you eat and care for every aspect of yourself. And self care is number one that leads to self acceptance. The more you you care for yourself, you will start sorry self appreciation. You'll start to appreciate yourself. Not to the world, but appreciate yourself for who you are.
The level above that is self approval.
Where you know what you want to do and you approve of yourself to be who you are and not seeking approval of others.
That is true self love. Because when you have self care, self appreciation and self approval, you will truly demonstrate self love. You can't sit wake up to self love and that is going to bring you to a self concept.
You'll have such a strong self concept that you will be able to achieve whatever you want in your life. I hope this podcast is useful. I would like you to share your notes below. I'll catch you in the next episode.
Sam.
