Siddharth Rajsekar breaks down macro niches (broad areas like business growth or health) and micro niches (specific problems within them, like sales or marketing). Pick one macro niche first, then narrow to a micro niche based on a concrete problem you can solve with what you already know.

To select your niche, you got to understand the difference between what is a macro niche and what's a micro niche. And this podcast is going to be really insightful. So let's get in.
Hey there, Sid here. Welcome to yet another episode of the Freedom Business Podcast. And this is going to be a topic which will be very useful for you, especially if you're confused about your topic, to get into the coaching business. Now, the word macro means big and micro is small. And this is the process that I walk my students through if they have to really.
Position themselves in such way where they're very attractive in the marketplace and they're able to sell with less resistance, they're able to sell their knowledge and expertise with less resistance. So the first step is you got to identify and pick one out of the six macro niches that are there. A macro niche is the overall niche. So the first macro niche is business growth. The second macro niche is career growth. The third macro niche is health and wellness. The fourth macro niche is money and wealth. The fifth macro niche is relationships. And the sixth macro niche is creativity. So these are the six major problems that people face generally, and they want a solution to that particular problem which can be delivered either in the form of a product or a service, either an information product or a physical product, or it could be a service or a consulting and so on. Okay, so rather than looking at how much knowledge you have, the approach that I teach my students is to look at what problem you want to solve with the knowledge that you have. I'll repeat that. It is not about how much knowledge you have in your subject. It is about what problem do you want to efficiently solve with the knowledge and experience that you already have. So you first pick a macro niche, which is the one macro area that you want to get into. So in my case, my macro niche is money and wealth. I help people make money by monetizing their expertise. Okay, so now let's come to the second part, which is micro niche. So a micro niche is nothing but the sub areas under each of these macro areas. For example, if you look at a topic like business, a business can be very vast. Now there are so many different verticals and subtopics under the business niche. Now I have one of my courses called niche Clarity Blueprints, where I have a six step process where I actually walk people through a whole system on how they can narrow down their niche. So let's say if you're in the business niche, you have to first identify what is the end goal you want your business owner to or the entrepreneur to achieve? Are you going to be focusing more on growth or cash flow or profits or market domination or roi, or you want to help them on reputation, on culture, on sustainability, efficiency, automation? There are many goals that a business owner is looking forward. The big goal is profitability and revenue and wealth and stuff like that. Now once you have helped them identify what is the goal or once you are clear about what goal you want your audience to follow, the micro niches under business are so many. For example, you could call yourself as a business strategist or only focus on sales or only on marketing. And marketing in sales is different. Sales is more about conversions and marketing is more about outreach and branding. And I mean not branding, it's more about outreach and getting people to be more aware of what you're doing. So under business growth there is operations, recruitment, quality control, logistics, market research, technology, partnerships, referral, marketing or franchising partnerships, angel investing, funding. And there's so many subtopics under business. So what I'm trying to tell all of you here is if you're listening to this.
A macro niche is only those six, but micro are all the subtopics. And if you want to really be very attractive in the marketplace and you want to, you know, put the flag on the ground saying that, hey, I'm an expert in this area, rather than calling yourself as a, as a generalist saying, okay, I'm just a business coach, which is fine, you're going to be in the red ocean, there are going to be many people competing in that space. Whereas if you say that I am, you know, I'm a customer support specialist and I help business owners improve their customer retention by helping them improve their customer support. And for that I have designed a system. So now this is going to position you in the blue ocean and where there's going to be very less competitors, there's going to be less people doing this and there's nothing like competition in this world. Even though there are other people doing the same topic. The way that you would be positioning yourself will be very, very different from others. Okay, now what I've shared right now are just two steps, you know, in the micro niching process, like identifying the end goal and then zeroing down on your method based on, you know, what was the subtopic that you want to pick? I have like four other steps that I teach inside my niche. Clarity blueprints in my paid member community. Now if you're not a part of my community, please go to sidzsids co join and join my community and go through this entire process that will help you actually move forward much faster. Okay. Because the other four steps are more about creating a story around your brand and your positioning. The fourth step is to do a deep research, what I call as a niche spectral sweep exercise, doing a deep research on your topic. And then the fifth step is to define your personal positioning clarity. You know, like you need to design a personal clarity document that I'll be giving you and then step six to convert that into a business model. So there's a whole sequence to, you know, taking that expertise that you have and making that into a business plan, which is what I teach inside my paid members community course. So just to recap on what you've actually learned right now is a macro niche is something that is generic and a micro niche is something that is specific. And for your micro niche to be attractive, you need to design and develop your own method of solving that particular problem. Okay. So I have developed a method called the Freedom Business Model, which solves the problem for experts, teachers and coaches to be able to monetize their knowledge in a much more efficient way in such and in such a way where they're able to have more freedom as they're doing it. And that's why below this particular podcast, there is also a webinar you can attend on how you can build and sell digital products on autopilot without any office or employees. Okay. And when you are able to design a business plan, you can have a combination of automated product sales through digital products and also live training that you can do in the form of group coaching and stuff like that, or even consulting. So there's more to this game, but I hope you found this podcast useful. And if you're already a part of my community and going through the process, I would highly recommend that you upgrade to diamond membership for you to get more accountable, for you to get on the fast track and by surrounding yourself with other achievers and action takers in our community. Currently we have over 20,000 people in our community and hundreds of them have made multiple lakhs in revenues. And many karadpatis have been generated through this particular process. So this system works. And if you're not a part of the community, jump in on board, attend the webinar, take action and I'd love to serve you more inside the payday area. All the best. Take care and catch my future episodes. All the best.
