Why Most Coaches Won’t Survive 2035 (and How You Can)
21 Sept 2025 · 15 min
Siddharth Rajsekar argues most online coaches will fail by 2035 if they rely on short-term hacks instead of enduring principles. He outlines ten principles for survival: radical transparency, a five-step coaching loop, believability-weighted guidance, systemization, diversification, macro awareness, treating pain as data, making students the heroes, relentless compounding, and values over hacks.

You know what's wild? Most coaches that you see online today, they won't even exist by 2035. Not because they're not talented, not because they don't have value to share, but because they are running their businesses on hacks, not principles. They're chasing the next funnel template, the next ad trick, or the next shiny AI tool without building an engine that can last through storms. And the truth is, this industry is about to get filtered. And those who survive are the ones who, who build businesses like all weather portfolios, businesses that can handle seasons of abundance and drought, and coaches who put their student success at the center, who systemize instead of improvise, and who adapt when the world shifts. They are the ones who will win. So in this episode, I'm going to pull back the curtain and I'm going to show you why most coaching businesses will collapse before 2035. And more importantly, the principles that you need to play the long term game to thrive in. So let's dive in. Hey there, it's here. Welcome to yet another episode of the Freedom Business podcast. And if you've not subscribed to me on Apple and Spotify, please do that immediately because I'm going to be sharing with you some really crystal clear, precise information that's going to completely change your life, change your business, and especially if you're in the coaching business. This is a podcast that you got to subscribe to and it's very much to the point. So this podcast is basically a deep dive research I've been doing on where the industry is going to be going. I've also been reading Ray Dalio's book called Principles. It's a phenomenal book if you have not got your hands on that. And I've basically taken all the elements from there and I've put this into the coaching business and I'm going to be sharing with you 10 rules or 10 principles. If you follow as a coach, you will be able to sustain 2035 and beyond. And why am I doing this research right now? Because I'm looking at patterns of the industry. I'm working with the top coaches in the country right now. I'm looking at what problems they are, they are facing. I'm looking at other people who are not inside the ILH community and what they are doing and how they are operating. And I'm able to correlate and put all the dots together because I want to make sure that whatever I'm teaching inside ILH is going to help our coaches win in the long Term. So take a lot of notes and I'm going to get into it principle by principle. And there are 10 of them that I'm going to be sharing with you. Let's get in. Principle number one is radical truth and transparency. Most coaches today are stuck in performance mode. They're performing, they polish their image, they hide their failures and they put out a fake highlight reel. But here's the pain. When you hide reality, you disconnect from your students. They don't trust you. They may clap for your content, but deep down they won't commit to your journey. And without trust, your business has an expiry date. Now what is the solution to that? Authenticity beats trust. Polish every single time. When you openly share your wins and your screw ups, your students see you as real. They relate, they follow, and they stay. So here's the rule number one. Always tell it as it is. Authenticity beats polish. And the action for you for this first principle is in your next piece of content. I want you to share one failure that you've had in your journey and show the lessons that you actually learned from it. And watch how quickly the right people will lean in and they'll connect with you on a much more deeper level. Now let's come to principle number two. This is what I call as the five step coaching loop. Here is the pain. Most coaches are stuck in chaos. They set random goals, they hit a wall, they get frustrated, and then they jump to the next shiny tactic. And no wonder why their funnels leak, why their ads burn money, and also why students drop out really fast. And the solution to it is you need a system, not a guess. And that's what I want to call as a five step coaching loop in that system. So what is this? Set clear goals, spot problems, diagnose the route, design the fix, and then do it till it's done. And repeat this loop until your business becomes antifragile. So the rule is goals, problems, diagnosis, plan and do and repeat until mastery. So it's a loop that you got to create. So the action is, this week I want you to pick one problem in your coaching business. Maybe it's a low webinar. Show up, rate and run through the entire loop and set a goal, find the root cause, design a plan, execute it and then you're going to see clarity replacing chaos. So think about this five step coaching loop. Next time I'm going to repeat it once again. First is set the goal. Second is identify the problem. Third is go through the diagnosis. Fourth is create a plan. And Fifth step is do it and then set the goal again. And, and if you do this, you're going to basically overcome all of your challenges and set this as a principle. The five step coaching loop. Let's go to the next principle. Principle number three is believably weighted guidance. Let me explain. The pain is this. Most coaches, they drown in noise. They, they take advice from random Facebook groups, Instagram Reels, YouTube influencers, podcasters, they copy what some influencer has said on Instagram. Or they follow some strategies from people who have never built real business, and the result of that is confusion, wasted money, and zero momentum in their business. And what's the solution to this? The solution is that not all voices are equal. You need to weigh advice by believability. That's why I'm calling it believability weighted guidance. It means trusting people who have actually done what you want to do, whether it hit, whether it means hitting those milestones, some, someone who has solved those problems and someone who has proven it with their results. So here is a rule, principle number three. The rule for principle number three is trust advice backed by results, not just opinions. And the action that I have for you on the third principle is, before acting on any advice this week, ask yourself, has this person achieved what I want to achieve? If yes, follow it. If not, thank them and just move on. Let's go to principle number four.
Number four is systemize. Don't improvise. Here's the pain. Most coaches, they are running their business like a college project. Every launch feels like, let's figure it out this time. And that constant improvisation, it burns energy, it creates mistakes, and it makes the whole business more fragile. Now, the solution to it is to systemize everything that works. And that's how I have designed my entire Freedom business model system for every piece. If a webinar script converts, lock it into a template. If a real format pops, document the process. If a student onboarding flow reduces the churn, make it a part of your standard playbook. Because systems are what makes your business scalable and repeatable. So here's the rule for principle four is every success becomes a checklist. Don't leave growth to memory. Document it. So the action for you for this principle is pick one thing you did last week which went off very well. Maybe it was a killer webinar closing or it was a good reel that just, you know, the way the format of your reel went off really well, and write it down as a step by step checklist. So next time you're not guessing anymore. You're actually running the system.
I hope you got this. Let's go to principle number five. Principle number five is diversify. Like all weather. See the pain point is this. Too many coaches are building their entire business just on one leg. Maybe it is just webinars or just Instagram or just high ticket. And when that leg gets cut, when algorithms shift, when ad costs rise or the market slows down, the whole business collapses overnight. So the solution to that is to build like an all weather portfolio. So basically spread your income streams across different models. Like in my case, I have evergreen webinars that keep running every single day. I do launches every few months. I have memberships on the back end, which is my diamond membership, which is an annual subscription based product. So in case anything slows down on the front end, I'm able to, you know, have stability on the back end. I run retreats like Freedom is a retreat every six months. That's also another income stream. And I also have a high ticket mastermind, which is my quantum club, which is also a funnel stabilizer, you know, at the back end, which adds stability in the whole business model. And also collaborations. I've collaborated with so many of my top students where I'm sending students to them, they're sending students to me, and we are, and even my collaboration with Tag, Mango and others. So you need to have different forms of income streams as you're building it. And that way when one slows down, the other keeps you standing strong. So here's a rule. Build multiple income streams so one failure never sinks you. And the action that I have for you is this month I want you to add one new revenue stream for yourself. If you're only doing webinars, test a small membership. If you're only doing high ticket, launch a low ticket course. Protect yourself by diversifying before the storm hits. And that is principle number five. Let's go to principle number six, which is to be macro aware. See the pain is that most coaches, they build as if the world will never change. They price high ticket when the market is tight. They depend on one platform, like it lasts forever. And then suddenly something shifts. Policies shift, algorithms change, platform shuts down and then they get wiped out. Now the solution is to think like an economist. See markets move in cycles. There is a boom, then there's a bust. There's abundance and then there's scarcity. So when you build offers, you got to build it for both seasons. The low ticket, automated entry points for tight markets. That's why I like to continuously getting like to get people in a low ticket entry point between five to ten thousand rupees every single day. And then also have premium masterminds for the growth seasons so that you can stay relevant no matter where the market is and where the the world is going. So note down the rule. This is the rule. Expect cycles design offers for both boom and bust seasons. And the action that I have for you on this, look at your current offers. What are you offering? If you only have a high ticket product, create an affordable entry product. Follow my community formula. Because in a community formula it actually creates sustainability because you are adding, you're building trust and you're adding value continuously. If you only have a low ticket product, create a premium experience and balance your business like an all weather portfolio and you will survive the shifts that most coaches want. And now let's go to principle number seven. Before I go into principle number seven, I just want to mention here that if you are not a Diamond member, this is what makes diamond membership so valuable. Because I go very deep into these principles and every week I share what's working for me and some people, they're able to pick it up really fast. So if you're not a Diamond member, please go to sidz SIDS Co diamond and get on the wait list. Principle number seven is pain equals data. See, the pain is that most coaches treat pain like poison. But pain is data. When a refund comes in, when a webinar flops, when an ad does not convert, boom. They go into self doubt mode. They avoid the discomfort, they complain or they just push it under the rug. But the truth is this pain is the data. It's feedback from reality telling you, hey, this is where your business is weak. So work on it. So if you reflect instead of react, the pain becomes the fastest path to growth. And here's the rule. Note down the rule. Every failure is feedback. Log it, learn it and level up. And the action that I have for you is this. Starting today, I want you to keep a pain log, okay? A pain log. Every time something hurts in your business, whether it's low attendance or an angry comment or a bad month, write it down with the lesson. Don't bury the pain, recycle it into progress. And now let's go to principle number eight. Number eight is this. Make students the heroes. See, the pain is too many coaches, they're building their business around themselves where they want to be the king or they want to be the queen. I've always said this. Don't aim to be the king or the queen, be the board and create a game that is worth playing for others, that's for your students. You know, most of the coaches outside the ilh ecosystem.
They don't think this way. See, their face is on every post, every email, every slide. It looks good at first, but over time the brand becomes fragile. Because if you are the hero, your students, they stay as followers and followers eventually leave.
Now the solution to this is got to flip the script, shift the spotlight from you to your students. And this is what I've been doing right from day one. You know, I've been just even in the second year of my business, I've just been doing tons of hall of fame interviews. In the beginning, we've already launched seven volumes of my book called I can coach. If you've not picked it up, please go to Amazon search where I can coach that Rajshekhar buy all the volumes we have. As at this point, we have documented more than 260 stories. And even if you go to internetlifestylehub.com you can see tons and tons of stories because I knew this right from the beginning that it is not about me. I want to celebrate your win. I want to showcase your story. I want to make you the hero of our ecosystem. And when your students feel like the protagonists, they stick, they succeed and they spread your work organically. So here's the rule when it comes to principal 8 is your brand is not your face, it's your students success stories.
Your brand is not your face, it's your student success stories. And the action that I have for you on this is this week I wanted to highlight at least one student win publicly, publicly post it, share it, celebrate it and make their success louder than yours. And that's how you build a brand that lasts. And again, if you have not subscribed to my YouTube channel, please go to Sidzsids Co YouTube and search for me on YouTube and there's a whole playlist called Freedom talks and you can see tons and tons of videos. And there's something else called six figure, you know, earners. You'll find at least 200 interviews that I've done with my students who have achieved success and in fact that has built my brand over the years. So go and check it out and if you're not subscribed, please get on my YouTube channel. And now let's go to principle number nine. Number nine is compound relentlessly. See the pain is that most coaches, they expect overnight success. They binge on Hacks, they copy trends, they copy other people's ads and content and courses and everything else. And then they get frustrated when the results are not showing in 30 days. And that mindset, it kills longevity. Because nothing big ever comes from one big push. Like even students who are going through the hackathon. My community, they finish the hackathon and they feel that that is the end. But actually that's the start to the journey. And the solution is what? Compounding tiny improvements every single day. Better ad hooks, sharper webinars, cleaner systems, deeper student wins. All of these, they stack up over months and years into unstoppable momentum. And it is not about intensity here, it's about consistency that builds empires. So here's the rule that I want to share for Principle 9 is small improvements daily create unshakable empires over time. I'll repeat, small improvements daily create unshakable empires over time. So the action that I have for you on this principle 9 is this. This week, pick one small thing to improve. Maybe it's your ad script, maybe it's your onboarding email, or your call to action in your delivery. So don't chase those hundred changes. Just compound one improvement at a time. Now let's go to principle number 10. And finally, number 10 is values over hacks.
Here's the pain. A lot of coaches, they're building their business on hacks, on tricks. They chase that latest funnel trick. They want to copy the trending reels or to copy the trending ads, or they want to jump to whatever tactic is buzzing for this month. And I'm sure it might have given them a spike on that particular day. But when one hack dies, so does their business. So the solution to it is build your business based on strong values, not just the gimmicks. Integrity, contribution, student first principles, all of these, they do not expire. When your foundation is values driven, every strategy that you use, whether it's ads or funnels or AI, they become stronger, they become more authentic, and it lasts far beyond any trend that you can think of. So here's the rule for Principle 10. The rule is this. Tax, expire, values compound for decades. I'll repeat that. Hacks expire, values compound for decades. And here's the action for you. Take 15 minutes today and write down your top three values that you want to imbibe into your coaching brand and for your brand to stand on. And then filter every decision that you make, every ad, every launch, every piece of content through these values. When you do that, you will actually be building a legacy, not a business. And that brings us to the end of these 10 principles. So here's the truth. By 2035, most coaches that you see today will be gone. Not because that they did not have knowledge, but because they built on hacks and not principles. The ones who survive, the ones who thrive, will be those who choose truth over polish, systems over chaos, and values over gimmicks. And the question is, where do you stand? Are you going to be another name that faded with the algorithm shift, or are you going to be a part of a new revolution of coaches who play the long term game, who build on principles and who create impact that outlives them? Because this is bigger than business. This is about rewiring the future of education. And if you feel that fire inside you right now, then maybe you're meant to lead this movement with us. Because revolutions aren't won by hacks. They are won by principles and by people just like you. Thank you for being you. And I would love to serve you more if you're in my community. Great. Just jump onto the leadership council in our diamond membership. And if you're not yet in our community, go to Internet lifecellhub.com check it out. And I'd love to serve you at the next level. All the best.
Sam.
