In this instructional video, Simon Alagbe demonstrates how to manage instruments and add custom indicators on the Android version of MetaTrader 4 (MT4). He first shows how to add trading instruments to the quote list by tapping the plus icon, selecting a category, and choosing the desired instrument. He then walks through opening a chart for a selected instrument via a long‑press and the "Open chart" option. Using the on‑screen "F" (main chart) and "F+" (add indicator) buttons, he adds, configures, and deletes trend indicators (e.g., simple and exponential moving averages) and oscillators (e.g., RSI). He explains how to set parameters such as period, color, and line thickness, and clarifies that trend indicators appear on the main chart while oscillators appear in Indicator Window 1 below the chart. The tutorial concludes with a recap and invitation for viewers to return for more content.

Hello and welcome to this channel. In this video, I'll be showing you how to add indicator to your Android mobile MT4. But quickly, before I show us how to add the indicators, let me quickly take us through the process of adding instruments to your quote. To add instruments to your quote, you just need to tap on this plus to the extreme right corner of your phone. Once you tap on it, you see different categories of instruments. Depending on the type of instrument you plan to add, you tap on the category and you tap on the instrument. Automatically, the instrument is going to be added to your quote. You can see them down here. Now to the main purpose of this video, that's how to add custom indicator. Your device. The first step is to open the chart of the instrument, that's by long pressing on the instrument you plan to trade. This way, you have these options, and we are going with the opening of the charts by tapping on open chart. So, open chart opens the chart of that particular instrument, which we can decide to expand a bit to have a better view. Of the instrument. The next thing is to add the indicator to your main charts, and to be able to do that, we would be using this F on our screen. So I tap on the F this way, and it shows me main charts, and currently I have a moving average on my charts. The moving average is this green line across my charts. That's the moving average. If I decide to add another indicator to my charts now, I tap on this F+ in front of the main chart. So this F+, and I will be able to add the moving average. Maybe I want to add 200 exponential moving average, or I want to add, um, 50 for instance. So I want to add 50, and I want to make the color red. Then I click on done this way. So you are going to see 2 moving averages now on my chart, and And to delete the moving averages, the same process. So I tap on the F, I pick this feature that looks like a dustbin, then I select the indicators I want to delete, then all of the indicators are deleted. Uh, to add afresh, I tap the F, it shows me the categories of, um, the indicators starting with the trend, I have the oscillators, I have volumes. I have Bill Williams. If the indicator I want to add is on that trend, so I just pick it. In this case, maybe I want to add the moving average. So I pick the moving average, adjust appropriately. So I have 50 exponential applied to close, 3 pixels, and the color is close to red. I tap on done, and I can decide to add another one. F plus moving average. Say this time I want to make it period 21. And the color here, uh, something very close to green. Then I click on done this way. So I have the 2 moving averages on my chart. And to, um, add some oscillators to my charts, I still tap on the F+, I go to oscillators, say I want to add the relative strength index, so I pick the RSI, adjust appropriately, I click on done. And the RSI, being an oscillator, will be added to my indicator window 1. Indicator window 1 is found below the main chart. As you can see it here, this is the indicator window 1 found below the main chart. So all these trend indicators will be added to the main chart, and most of the oscillators will be added to indicator window 1. So if I have any other indicator I want to add to the indicator window 1, I tap on it and it will be added, um, appropriately. This is how we get to add indicators to our Android device. So thank you very much for being a part of this video. So I look forward to having you around, um, some other time. Thank you.
