Jennifer was torn between nursing and nutrition, worried nursing meant desk work. The CONFIDENT program coach helped her see that nutrition aligned better with what she actually wanted: autonomy and flexibility. She found her path by matching her values to the work.
No, it is.
Yeah, so there's other things you'd rather do than this, right? Yeah. This is what I keep telling every of my clients. There's a lot of time you have certain direction you want to go towards, but you don't have the confidence or the courage because you don't know if that's the best idea. And with this process, we'll prove to you whether or not that's the best idea. It either is or it is not, and if it is not, we're gonna find another path for you. So either way, you are in a better place than, okay, do I move forward? If not, where do I go next? Like, you know what I mean? There's that.
And it's like, even the nutrition thing didn't work out well. I was going to have to take these courses anyway to do the master's in nursing. So it was just like, where do I take it? Do I go for the master's in nursing and do nursing education, which I really didn't have the heart for, if you know what I mean? Um, because I really don't want to be behind a desk.
Yeah, you pretty much made the best choice, um, given your values and given what you discover about yourself. When you become the nutritionist or nutrition counselor, you are able to have that freedom, to have that independence, autonomy, and all that things which previously you weren't really thinking about, right?
