Hi friends, a question that we get a lot from all our customers is, are our snuffle mats machine washable? Yes, they are. The way you wash your lingerie and delicate clothing, it is the same concept for these snuffle mats, that is by using a mesh laundry bag. So now that your dog has snuffled and you have used it enough times and it is now slobbery and dirty, you are now ready for a wash. So how do we go about washing the snuffle mat. We put in the dirty snuffle mat into the mesh laundry bag. We sell these mesh laundry bags and these are big enough for the biggest of our snuffle mats like the Grapes or the Challenger Bone or the Delicious Avocado. So we put the dirty snuffle mat in there, we zip it, and then we tuck the zip in the corner so that it does not break during the washing cycle. So now the zip is locked in the corner. We now take it and we put it into the washing machine. Gentle cycle, tap cold temperature water, and that's it. It will wash on its own, and you can see it's amply and it's loosely packed. So it's going to be washed, and once it's washed, you can take the entire contents and put it into your dryer, tumble dry on low heat setting. Or once it has been washed, you can take it out and you can air dry it, because all of our snuffle mats have loops, and you can just air dry it and let it just dry in shade.
