65 - EP 65 with Spartan: The Power of Herbs, Unlocking Life Transformations + Healing Anything Naturally
18 Feb 2023 · 92 min
Sol Brah and Spartan discuss how perspective shifts turn failures into growth, and how Spartan healed from Crohn's disease using herbs like lion's mane, kava, and shilajit alongside naturopathic mentorship. They explore resilience, ancestral honor, and why numbing behaviors like excessive screen time block transformation.

Dude, I was late because I had to get some tea going because I think out of anyone I've ever seen, your tea game is the best.
Yeah, yeah, the tea game is pretty good, eh?
It's great. I always— it's so funny when I come across your tweets, I'm like, oh, another new herb that I'd never even considered, or just like a, a really pure version of one of the supplements that I take. And I said, man, this guy just elevates it. And I, you know, I think I know things about herbs and roots and powders and things like that, but it seems like you've got the deepest knowledge of that that I've seen.
Yeah. I mean, I studied a little bit of herbalism and it's funny that, uh, you made yourself a tea because I did as well.
I knew you would. See, that's the thing. I knew you would. Some like, uh, giga kind of brain enhancing one.
Lion's Mane. There's Lion's Mane. There's also kava and, uh, chamomile, you know?
So you're calm. Yeah.
You're calm and you got that nootropic kick with, uh, the Lion's Mane.
So yeah, yeah, that's the way to do it. That's the real, uh, I guess, performance drink people should be taking.
You know, from all the like supplements that I like, I like, I like food. I like things that are natural, that come from the earth, you know.
Yeah, same.
Try to avoid things that are, that are grown in labs. Anything natural, you know, that, that's best. And herbs have that. They have that divine intelligence, you know, given by God. God created them for a specific reason and they all target specific things within the body. Herbs and mushrooms, they're amazing for sure.
Yeah, it's, uh, people don't realize that for whatever medication that you think is doing you good from a hospital, from traditional medicine, it's not. But for what they say that those medications do, there is a herb that will do the same thing, if not better, or definitely better actually.
I would say definitely better.
Definitely better.
Sure.
in a natural way with no— none of these BS side effects. Some of the medication people taking, side effects of feelings of suicide, uh, murderous rage, like things like that. Like what?
Depression, depression, everything. Hair falling out, arrhythmias, hair falling out, a lack of libido. Like the list is— yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Girlfriend leaves you, no money.
Those commercials are crazy, man, you know?
Like they say it will help you with this, but then there's a whole list of It's the longest part of the commercial is because they have to legally list the side effects that have happened. And but then like it's literally a laundry list of everything that you wouldn't want to go wrong. And then it's like, yeah, this stuff may cause that and people still buy it.
Yeah. You mask one symptom, but you create another 10.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's absurd. You know what I mean? Herbs kind of grow for free, you know, so it's hard to profit off them. Yeah, that's the thing.
Exactly.
And you know what's interesting about herbs and mushrooms? It's the location that they grow in, like the specific environmental geolocation that they grow in, is a location where they'll greatly benefit the population that lives there. You see what I'm saying? So let's say, uh, what do you mean by that? Live in the north, like a northern climate, like there's more stinging nettle, which is like a very robust herb, like it has a lot of minerals and it's very strong, and we take on that essence, you know. Whenever we, we drink a herb, we take on that essence. So that's— it's very interesting when it comes to herbs. I, I love herbs for sure.
Yeah, how cool is it when, uh, they just synergistically work? Like, uh, yeah, I think shilajit and marijuana, because they grew originally in the same mountain range, they have synergistic effects on them. On each other.
Yeah, there's a lot of good— there's a few good CBD, uh, shilajit resin products out there that do have that effect, which is— it's interesting, interesting that you bring that up. Yeah, there's a lot of herbs that work synergistically together, and that's what I kind of like to work with as well when it comes to, uh, because I offer like consultations and stuff, and I'll often— I'll often offer my clients like formulas that they can make like herbs with. So you have like for the lymphatic system, you have like bloodroot, plantain, calendula, burdock. These are all good for lymphatic. You have even there's ones that are good for the like parasites, like killing off parasites in the body, like podarko, thyme, black walnut. Then you have like nervines. Nervines are like skullcap, St. John's wort, passionflower, hops, chamomile. These are very good at like calming down the nervous system and really bringing you into balance and you know, just a relaxed state. And I like that a lot because it's good for your digestive system. There's a big, like, the, the mind-gut access. So those are, those are really good. Those are really good. Herbs are awesome.
Yeah, people, people don't realize how important digestion is.
Digestion is huge. It's, it's everything. And I, I battled with that, like, you know, firsthand. That was like my major battle. That's what got me into health. Right, healing my digestive system.
Yeah, take us through that. Take us through the rise and fall of that experience.
Yeah, so I got diagnosed with Crohn's disease when I was about 8 years old. Yeah, so I was just, you know, I was just a kid, man. Didn't really know much about it, and it was, you know, it was like, what the hell is going on here? You know, I feel like shit. Yeah, my friends are out playing and I'm getting like stomach cramps, you know, bad bowel movements. I don't know what's going on here, you know. And the doctors are there telling me like, hey, this is something that you're gonna have to deal with and you're not gonna be like the normal kids out there, you know, you're gonna have to live a different life, you're gonna have to be coming to the hospital and this is something that you just have to live with and we'll try to manage it to the best of our abilities, but this is gonna be with you for life. And yeah, so kind of fell into that trap for about 8 years, honestly. Wow. 8 years I was in the medical system, in and out of the hospitals. Okay, on all kinds of medicines, different— yeah, different medications like, uh, some antacids, some antibiotics, Pentasa, Imuran, all kinds of crazy medications. At one point I must have been taking like, uh, 4 or 6 different medications each day, you know, morning and night. Yeah, and, uh, it got— it got worse and worse, you know, like sometimes the— the symptoms would be masked for a while but then another slew of symptoms would arise from that. Okay, so it was very hard to manage even later on in life, and we tried so many things under the medical system and nothing really seemed to work. It was a trialing point in my life, you know, like very, very depressed, very—
I'm sure—
lack of motivation, you know. You're coming home from school and you're just lying down in bed. You don't want to see the world, you know. You're you're unmotivated, and it's just no place for anybody to be in, you know what I mean? And there was no light at the end of the tunnel. And it got so bad that at around 15, 16 years old, I had to get a section of my colon removed. Okay, I think a lot of people might not know that, but yeah, you know, like they might see the gym pictures and all that where I look good, but yeah, I was dealing with pretty bad case of IBD, you know, where I even got a piece of my colon removed.
Yeah.
And I only bring that up to say how powerful the body is at healing. Yeah. Okay, like, after that, at 15, when I got the colon— like, a section of the colon removed, uh, I realized that there was no hope in the medical system.
Yeah.
That I would need to find a different route to heal. Yeah. Or this would just lead to, you know, colon cancer or whatever, like a very degenerative state. And I just couldn't let that be my fate, you know. I couldn't let that be my fate. And by God's blessing, his faith, and, um, we found a different route. We have heard about a few people that have gotten better. They've healed their IBD through, uh, you know, holistic approach, natural medicine, herbology. And, um, we decided to give it a go. We found a great naturopath over here in Montreal where I'm located. And he coached me through the process of getting better. And one thing that I'll never forget is how I felt inside the office consulting with him as opposed to consulting with the medical practitioners. And I don't say that with any judgment or resentment towards them. They have a place in society that is, that is very beneficial because a lot of people don't want to put in the work that it takes to heal naturally. It does take more work takes a lot of discipline. But one thing I could tell you was consulting with the naturopath, I felt hope for the first time.
Wow.
He let me know that there's nothing wrong with my body, that everything that's happening is a factor of my environment and my lifestyle and the nutrition that I'm taking into my body. And that just clicked right away, you know, it resonated with me. And then the confidence and tone of his voice about, you know, the healing stories— like, I asked him like, You must have healed so many people, you know? And he's like, yeah, every day, every day, you know? And then these people are fine and completely off medication. And yeah, I was like, wow, like, I wish I would have known about this sooner, you know? It, uh, it changed my life. And I did follow the protocol after— it took about a year, honestly, a year of, of really, um, going through it till where I saw like great, great results. I mean, the results began a month in, but it was such a bad state where after a year it really felt like, wow, like I feel completely normal, you know.
Yeah.
And then, and then seeing the results from there, I just wanted to learn more about natural medicine and, and herbalism, and I just used it to, to start optimizing my body. So I went from a sick state all the way up to, yeah, optimizing it. And that's kind of, you know, like a lot of things in life. It's the story of the Phoenix, you know. You rise to fall up to, to rise back up stronger. You fall to rise. Yeah.
And, uh, I've been having thoughts of that whole, uh, motif in general the last few days. Like, the things that have gone wrong in my life, just reflecting on what that gave me and what that taught me and what that showed me, because that's when actual growth happens. And without those points— yeah, where it's tough to go through for sure, and the default, you know, reaction of the brain is like, why can't it be good all the time? Because it's like a as a biological animal, it wants the least kind of energy to be expended in its environment. But at the same time, if you live that life, like, you would, uh, start creating some problems for yourself because your brain just can't handle that. I don't think the human spirit can handle good all the time.
Absolutely, absolutely. And just to add on my whole experience, one thing that I, I realize in hindsight, and this is more of like an ethereal spiritual aspect of you know, God manifesting himself within the world is that if I never went through that experience that I went through, the lives of many, many people would have not been affected in a positive manner. So what I mean by this is I had to go through that bad thing for a lot of— for a positive ripple to occur in the future. And I'm not just talking about my Twitter account and the amount of people that I'm inspiring over there. My sister, who I love dearly, was studying to become a pharmacist at the time while I was going through my whole ordeal. And then as soon as she saw my healing journey and how natural medicine actually gave me the results, actually helped me heal, she decided to become a naturopath. And she's gone on to help, you know, anywhere between like 500 to 1,000 people heal. And those people are going to go on and inspire their friends. So all from my bad situation. Because during, I was like, why me? Why me? But now looking back in hindsight, it all makes perfect sense, you know, and it's just God manifesting himself in reality.
Yeah, it's— I mean, the more I see it, the less, you know, crazy it really seems to me. It just seems like, oh, that's the way that it works. Do you understand that?
Of course, of course. It's not— it's like a natural higher order. Yeah, we can't really— we can't, we can't see it in the moment when we're going through some tribulations, but later on in hindsight, you know, our vision's 20/20, as they say.
Yeah, yeah. And I, I think when you experience more spiritual things, you become more spiritual because you're just open to the next thing and the next thing and the deeper coincidence or another effortless kind of transition into something amazing.
Where you just, you can't deny that reality, that spiritual reality anymore.
It's scientific, really. It's seeing enough evidence in your, the experiment of your life, let's say, and enough evidence piles up to come to a certain belief, and that's that there is some sort of higher power directing things in a positive way if you just let your human mind and ego get out of the way.
Yeah, that, uh, I call that the Maya, you know. Yeah, not living inside that Maya that we construct for ourselves, you know, the going through the whole rigmarole, uh, you know, calendar year and, and just seeing things at face value. You actually have to, you know, see things that the eyes aren't actually seeing, you know. It's like they say, open your third eye, per se. I think that's what that whole concept is, just to to view the ethereal as even more real than the material in some manner, you know, which is very important in life because God does show himself to us whenever we ask for help or we look for that guidance. As it says, you know, ask and you shall receive, knock and the door will be opened to you. You know, you have to be open to that. You have to open up your heart to what's more— to bigger possibilities within, uh, your reality. Yeah, we should not be closed off. We should not be closed off, and we shouldn't live at face value. The world is way more than black and white. It's a dynamic, dynamic world that we live in. It's—
yeah, it's— I've been kind of experimenting with just surrendering to everything and, uh, not controlling. I read a book, The Surrender Experiment, I forget who it's by. Have you heard of it?
I haven't heard of it. Um, no, I haven't heard of that book, but I am, you know, familiar with the concept of surrendering. And— but go on, go on.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Uh, the, the— so the book essentially talks about this super successful, uh, software company CEO who did a bunch of things in his life, but, uh, at a very young age, or like, you in his 20s, he kind of realized through meditation, he was given this download to him where it says, okay, you want me to show you what I can do? Uh, then just surrender to everything and follow where I direct you, basically. And he kind of had that mindset after that spiritual experience. And then all of this stuff happened with that he just couldn't explain. People came into his life at the right moment to do the particular job that he needed for the next stage of his company to expand. Was like a frequent one, uh, land coming out for sale when they needed an office. Just all these little directions. And also in his personal life that he would never have been able to plan, but because he had the distinction early on through meditation to just— he had some sort of communication where it said, hey, I got this. Like, just, you know, always pursue what kind of comes up in front of you and surrender to everything, even if you feel like you don't want to. And his life was just incredible as a result. So reading this, it's pretty compelling. You know, I don't think he made this whole thing up. So I've been trying to implement that a bit and just, okay, what's next? What is this kind of next step clue that gets put in front of me for me then to pursue? Because that inevitably, once you understand the type of direction, you can recognize it more frequently. Right. And you can say, oh, this— like, your gut, something about your intuition is saying, oh, this is one of those things. And then you just pursue that regardless of whether you want to or not, or if it's scary or whatever. And then magical things have just started happening. It's, you know, it's very compelling even from the scientific perspective. What's the evidence of, uh, my reality right now? And that's what it is.
I love that, and I resonate fully with that. And I feel as though whenever you've, you've done a lot of work on yourself, that you are, you're somewhat ready to take on these opportunities that life will give you. Whenever you have that purpose in mind as well, life will open up those doors for you. And I'm sure that you resonate with that story because you've, you've built a very beautiful brand. You know, you've done great work. I love the work that that you put out. And you were a big inspiration of mine to, uh, to join Twitter, to get on that community. It happened, it happened during COVID you know, where there was, you know, everything changed, like, uh, everything was locked up or whatever. And I found, uh, you know, Twitter a good place to engage with like-minded individuals. I saw the, the community that you had built and the engagement and, uh, and, and demand for that stuff, and that inspired me, uh, as well. I don't think I've ever told you that, but you were definitely a big part of my journey on Twitter, for sure.
Oh, thanks a lot, man. That's, that's very nice of you saying. And, um, yeah, that, you know, warms my heart because that's what— every now and then you just see someone and you can feel that they're gonna be big, which I felt about you, um, that they have really good stuff and valuable stuff to share. And in my blessings, I'm able to, you know, just encourage people or retweet them and just be like, hey man, this is awesome.
You want to know, you want to know something crazy? Something crazy? Sure, sure. I was going through, through my notes and not too long ago, and it was October 8th, 2021, or October, or October 22nd, 2021, and I put a note. I'm like, get a, get a podcast done with Sol Brah. And a couple years later, you know, here we are.
And I mean, yeah, great.
That just, uh, look, that just goes into play, uh, you know, law of attraction, manifesting, visualizing, you know, that whole idea, which is very powerful. And I think that's a great practice that many people should, should follow and do. I like to visualize every night before I go to bed because as we're about to sleep, our brainwaves start to go to theta and we're able to enter a more ethereal realm while we're still in the material. So you have that ability to visualize and control your thoughts. And you just visualize, you know, you picture things, you picture that life that you want. Down to the very last detail, you know, the smells of the environment that you're in, the sights, the people you're around, the way you look, everything. And I think these things come into fruition because we're made in God's image, and God is a creator.
Creator.
Exactly, right there, you know, then we're made to create.
Yeah, that's what people don't realize is they think some people are just this special kind of person that's different to everyone else, and that's why they are creative or are able to build a huge business, whatever it is, not understanding that every single one of us has the power to do that. Yeah, uh, if we so choose, and if we download the certain mental programming that will lead to success, having faith that it's all gonna work out, but then also, you know, you're working as well.
Yeah. Like you said right there, you said mental programming, and that's a big thing that I try to push on my Twitter with my tweets, is to try to reprogram the mind, you know, to, to create a new blueprint for yourself, to, to raise your own standards. Because the way the system has it, it's where we're told what to do from a very young age, right? So the schooling system, which I think is very faulty, it's not an ideal school.
Bring it down. Yeah, it's a brainwashing.
It's a brainwashing system. System, you're taught to shut up, listen, take notes, and do as you're told.
Follow the bell.
Follow the bell. And that's it. You do your homework, and it creates very good workers. It creates very good workers for the beast system that's at play, the, the whole corporate 9-to-5 lifestyle. It creates very good workers. So in that case, it's very good. But in creating a beautiful environment where people could express their creativity it's not the best ever. And a philosopher that spoke a lot about this is Rudolf Steiner. I'm not sure if you're familiar with him.
Oh yeah, I love Rudolf.
Yeah, Rudolf Steiner was big on biodynamic farming and on anthroposophy and just, just on Waldorf education as well, where they, they would raise up the children based on their innermost talents and they would cultivate those talents and It would give, you know, I mean, in the world like that, you might see more of like a utopia where people are using their God-given skill sets to enhance the environment of the whole world. And I think just knowing about that knowledge should give everybody a reason to pursue their own talents and figuring out a way how, how can I offer this to the world, you know, giving value to the world and making the lives of other people around you better. Is probably the, the one of the biggest parts of our human experience, our existence here, is to—
I'd say it's the highest calling.
It is the highest calling to be of service, to be of service, you know.
That's what all religions boil down to at the end of the day, is learning to love and give service to your fellow man.
That was Jesus.
Pretty simple.
Pretty simple. And that was Christ's first commandment. My first commandment is this, that you love one another as I have loved you. And yeah, loving people is giving your gifts to them, giving your gifts to the world. Not dimming your light for anybody, you know, not dimming your light so other people could feel comfortable, not trying to fit into that box that society puts forth. And we see that all the time, you know, people are just trying to fit in because they're afraid to just express their own genuine, most authentic self. And this has nothing to do with you know, like that whole airy fairy New Age mentality. This is the true essence of being a human. We're all individuals and we have our own, our own set of gifts and talents that we could offer other people. And we should all, we should all lean on those because it would make us very successful. I think, I don't think it's a good place to be if you're, if you're doing something that is not aligned with your soul. It's kind of creates a slow death to you, you know.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And everyone feels that feeling. Everyone knows that feeling. I've been in jobs where it's just, I don't care about this at all, I don't feel good doing it, and I really need to make a move to get on to the next thing, whatever that is for you.
Yeah, yeah. You don't— time is valuable. It's, you know, it's a very valuable asset that we have. And I equate time to life, you know. Instead of using the word time, I say, how much life are you spending on something? How much of your life force are you giving to something that isn't aligned with you? It's a very good— I mean, it's a tactic and it helps. It really helps you boil down the positive relationships that you cultivate in your— with your innermost circles. And then also outwardly, what are you doing in the world, you know? Because people have to ask these questions to themselves. I get that not everybody is in a position to do so because I still— I battle sometimes with the concept of Maybe the person that, you know, is a janitor or, you know, just a grocery clerk and then just does that, and then they just sit down on the couch and they watch their favorite sports team or whatever, maybe that is their calling because they haven't evolved past that point, you know. So I try not to force this view on anybody, but to those that are that are open and that are on the receiving end of it, that need to hear it, it greatly benefits them. But I don't force-feed none of my opinions down anybody's throat.
Yeah, I, I think I'm of two minds. I'm of two minds about this because whatever may be the case, if you are able to positively broadcast a certain ideology to the people in your community I believe that, you know, everyone's better off if the environment is conducive to physical activity. There's, um, you know, muscle bars at the, at the beach and things like that, like Muscle Beach in Los Angeles, or it's free to get healthy food at the farmers market. Things like that, just everyone's going to be better off. And I think there's just a— there's a certain number of people in the middle who are swayed by popular opinion.
Yeah, yeah. You're right about that.
For the good of everyone, it's, it's kind of like, well, why don't we just make the popular opinion something that's going to be good for everyone rather than the current, I guess, popular opinion, or what they want you to think is the popular opinion because they control the media. And, you know, that's, that's a different story. So I think, you know, we do have to push it a little bit, of course, with respect to where people are at. Everyone chooses the life, and you can't like force someone to do anything. That's just not how it works. But, you know, if we have to put our hands up 1,000 times and say, hey guys, fast food probably, you know, cooked in vegetable oils, let's just cut that out.
Absolutely, you know, absolutely, you're totally right about that. Uh, my, my, the point being was, I mean, this goes back to Rudolf Steiner. Another thing that he said was that by the year 2020, a third of the population will be like complete zombies per se. They'll be like just completely on that rigor moral Gregorian calendar routine, you know, completely just brainwashed. A third of them will be, you know, teetering on the fence, you know, they could see the illusions of the world. And then a third will be pretty much awake. And I think the people that are on the fence, those people, you know, it is greatly beneficial for us to, to inspire them and impact these people. 100%, you're right about that. And You know, that's what we try to do. But at the end of the day, those people are open to that inspiration, you know, they're searching for it. They're open because I look sometimes, you know, I just, I look at the data, you know, and the data shows how many people are living in, you know, bad circumstances, whether it's poverty or whether it's— yeah, it's getting worse. I mean, within poverty, within disease, within infertility, and The data— so the reality of it, the data shows that where there is, you know, a huge fault within the system. And in order for those people to kind of see the light, it would have to be a whole system change. Because unfortunately, people are taught to lean on the system. They're— they don't have the capability to create thoughts on their own. To use discernment. Using discernment is huge. I speak a lot on this, you know. It's to not just take what the media is telling you. It's to question what the media is telling you, to use your God-given discernment, you know, your brain power, your IQ, and to actually look at, look at, look at things from a different perspective, you know. And that goes through the whole system. You're being told what to do. People look for answers from the people above them. And, you know, no man has authority over you besides God, you know. So we have to use that discernment and operate within our free will. And that goes back to like the whole thing that, you know, we saw happen over the past 2 years, you know, the whole hysteria. I mean, if that wasn't the most enlightening thing to happen on, you know, our timeline, I don't know what was. I mean, we saw people's true colors. We saw the, the reality of, of the state of people. You know, a lot of people were awake to it. That was great to see. But, you know, there was still a lot of people that, you know, they're just—
no, but so it's light and dark, right? Because, but in the same stroke of the pen, the same events created an awakening of many, many, many, many more people than ever would have probably without that event. For sure.
I would say absolutely. And I would say, uh, the people that did awaken, awoken tenfold. Yeah, you know, um, and, and more radicalized, way more. Yeah, I mean, uh, I put out a tweet during that time, like a thought came to me, it was like, I'm not here to, uh, to awaken the sheep. I'm here to round up all the lions, you know.
Yeah, yeah, true, true.
And I do think that's great, that we did become more powerful in that way, you know. The people of awakening and of freedom and liberty and, you know, truth really did become more powerful. And I do think that that is a seed that was planted, and I think down the line the whole COVID thing is really going to turn around and bite them in the ass because the truth, the truth can never be buried. The truth just has to be let out, then it's like a roaring lion. The truth will defend itself down the line. And we're already seeing it come out, you know what I mean? Now it's hitting mainstream, even the amount of, you know, articles that are being released on, you know, the dangers of whatever— yep, pharmacological medicines, uh, have done to people.
Yeah, it's all, you know, I— that's another thing with surrender is you're not going to control world events yet. Maybe once, once you attain, uh, the right amount of influence, but we'll get there. But, uh, as of right now, the worry that you do about, um, world events in general, news headlines that Some are just— I would say most are literally just to brainwash you. They're not meant to inform you. They're meant to tell you a certain timeline perspective of events, tell you who's responsible, uh, who you should hate because of it. Uh, that is not what most people think it is, is just, oh, they're telling us the news about what's happening around the world. And that's the belief shift that needs to occur in order to you know, break yourself out of the cycle. Oh, I saw it on, uh, the, the news last night, it must have been real.
Yeah.
And then, uh, basing your worldview upon that. Um, and I think, yeah, I mean, that's programming, right?
That's literally programming.
Television. Television. Tell-a-vision. They're literally telling you what they're doing. Programming. Oh, it's television programming. And everyone sits in front of this magic box and just takes in those subconscious images, the programming, the, you know, that's how they—
the devil's box, the devil's box.
Literally, literally.
But yeah, I resonate with you fully. Uh, you know, it's funny you bring television up because that is a term that I use as well for, for the TV. And it, it does more than just, you know, program you. It robs you of your time, you know. So yeah, people got to be more mindful of, uh you know, the content that they consume. It's not just about the nutrition you're consuming, it's about the content that you're consuming as well. The books you read, the social media accounts you follow, the news articles, the everything. I mean, it's like a war for attention in a way, you know, that people wanting other people to buy into their propaganda. And, you know, there's truth out there though, because the truth is real, the truth is one.
And the war right now is being fought on the minds. I know that's been a common thing, is like warfare is literally not all the time. There is obviously actual warfare still going on, but, um, if you can collapse a society from the inside by programming the minds of the members of that society to do things that are very destructive to the family unit, uh, to disarm themselves to not take care of their borders, anything like that is, okay, well, what would an army do? They would go in and take your stuff. And, you know, it's like a different version of warfare, and people don't realize that really. It's like this slow drip.
It's, uh, yeah, it's a slow drip. And, uh, because in reality, I mean, uh, you know, the general population, um, holds the power because we have, um, the numbers. You know, the, the elites are very few. And, you know, I don't use that term much, but people can really awaken themselves.
And we can't call them elites, that's programming.
That is programming, you know, because I don't really consider them, uh, to be too elite.
They're just the losers kind of like who are, who are trying to do some shit.
That's all they are, greedy, you know, power-hungry, you know, weirdos, you know, and, uh, freaks. Freaks. They're freaks for sure. It's, I mean, I can't comprehend that mindset that, uh that reality that they live in. And, you know, it's, it's, it's so far out of reach. And I think people just, if they didn't give their attention so much to that and they just focused on, yeah, on building the world that they want, you see. And, and creators like you do that. I, I see you, you know, daily putting out, you know, the positive message and actually, you know, building the world that you want. And, you know, I'm following suit. I am doing that as well. And I think if everybody did that, you know, it would just be such a beautiful, fantastic environment where you wouldn't get these news headlines that depress you. I mean, there's so many accounts even on Twitter.
You'd be strong.
Be strong.
Your society would be strong. Defend yourself. Stand up for yourself.
Empowered.
Not be like, oh, feel bad about existing.
Yeah, there would be empowerment. You wouldn't, you know, so I try not to dwell too much on the conspiracies or the cabal and what they got going on because we're building our own shit, you know. We got, yeah, we got our own things going on. We're building health, vitality, empowerment in the real world, and that's the message that we're gonna push.
Yeah, so it's— I think there's a necessary part of the awakening process where you, you do have, or at least it was the case for pretty much everyone I've spoken to, is getting— switching your attention from, okay, the pop stuff, the music, the celebrities, uh, who did this, the songs. Okay, now it's like entertainment, and then maybe it goes to reading, uh, eventually, or maybe you've tried that separately. But you soon realize that all this stuff is just garbage. And even if you're reading headlines about the Ohio train derailment, which is terrible and really you know, one of the things that just should be focused on as a country, uh, to fix that. But at the same time, if you're just scrolling, doom scrolling as they call it, all these negative things all the time, are you better off than if you were just, you know, watching South Park or something, TV, like other brain-rotting stuff? No, because you're just sitting there. People don't realize that the phone is a mini television all the time. Like the social media, like you said, that's all telling you what your reality is going to be like because your brain is absorbing everything. And if you can just, okay, recognize what that's doing to yourself and what's the better option, the marginal impact that you're going to have by focusing on yourself, tending to your own garden, growing your own garden, becoming more successful for other people to then, you know, be supported by you, that is going to do a million things more than just being updated and furious about all the negativity, which may be happening. In some form. Not what they say in the news, but yeah, bad things happen sometimes.
Absolutely, you're right.
You can't let it, because you're just wasting your life.
You know, you know what, uh, the missing link within all of that is— I mean, what you just said was beautiful, and the thing that ties that all together is the individual taking accountability, right? Yes, taking on that, that self-accountability to realize that the power that they hold within the world? What are they feeding? You know, where you put your focus, that's where energy is going to start flowing, and that's what you're going to start nurturing. That's what you're going to start developing in the world. You know, the same way a gardener tends to his garden is the same way that with our focus we could tend to the things that we want to build. So imagine all our focus was on, on the Kabbalah and on the negativity of the world. This is what we're going to feed more fire into. And people need to take that accountability because no one's coming to save you. You know, you, you gotta—
it would be nice.
You gotta look in the mirror, see your highest self, and then become that. And then that way you'll inspire everybody within your immediate circle. And before you know it, the, the amount of compounding numbers that that creates is a whole new world, especially in the Western front where we have, uh You know, such, such amazing technologies to spread that message and to give people empowerment. And we have so much opportunity, you know, and it's just, it's up to the individual to take that accountability, to take that stand, to let go of the whole victim mentality. Because nothing is set in stone, you know. The world is dynamic, the world is ever-changing, and we hold so much power. Humans, we hold so much power, and it's like you said, it's the media warfare that's going on. And that's why I think it's— there is a moral obligation to express your truth and to hold the right values within the world and to not cower and put your head in the sand and just accept everything as it comes. There's always that battle to fight between good and evil. Right? You know, the two wolves inside you, as they say. The— you have the white wolf and the black wolf. The wolf that you feed more will overpower the other one. So you got to feed the goodness within your life. You got to cultivate that, that empowering, uh, spirit, that discipline, that warrior mentality, that, that my life matters, you know. Um, there was a book that was released not too long ago, I mean, uh, that went viral, was like The Subtle Art of Not Giving an F. And I'm like, no, you know, people, you gotta give an F. You gotta care for your life. You gotta care for the people around you, and you gotta make impactful changes. And it all starts with you, from the foods that you eat, you know, where you place your dollar. Are you buying from local farmers, or are you feeding the mega corporations? The, the medias that you're into. Are you, are you only being entertained by Hollywood? Are you only being entertained by the news? Do you know what I mean? Where are you putting your attention? Are you, uh, mindlessly scrolling on TikTok all day long, or are you reading such amazing books? We have them, we have amazing books, and we have them with the touch of our fingertips, you know, online. I could go on Amazon and any— and order any book where I could read within any subject And right there, that's the accountability that people need to take to make a world—
think about that for a second. Think about the fact that, you know, let's say medieval times, you wanted to read a particular book. Maybe there were 3 of them that had to be hand-copied, and you would have to travel 50 miles to go to the library or like a monk's monastery and read it, and that would be the esoteric knowledge. But now Age of Aquarius, we can— we literally have everything, as you said, at our fingertips. It's just a question of using the tool, uh, properly. The mobile phone— do you let it consume you? Do you let things push on to you? Or do you use it as a manifestation tool, really, uh, to create the life that you want? Like, I just tweeted about this today— the amount of things that I can do now on my phone with apps is incredible. You can run 5 businesses off one phone, which you can take with you anywhere, you know, photo editing, video editing, uh, just calling, texting, uh, business partners, camera, uh, all the social media things. So it's, it's, it's really all you need. And, uh, phenomenal tool when used properly, and everyone has one of those right now. You know, you're listening to this, you probably have a smartphone. You know, little kids getting them these days, which I don't recommend, obviously, but everyone has one. So everyone has the capability. There's no lack of technology. It's really an even playing field. And that's the incredible thing about the internet that I don't think people appreciate it because they're using it the wrong way. But when it was first created, the The real benefit of it was like, hey, any information can be shared instantly now. That's— it completely changed really human reality.
It did. I mean, yeah, it's an amazing technology when used properly, and it has to be used properly because humans weren't designed to, you know, to harvest this kind of energy without, you know, the know-how. I do think that there is, you know, a proper form like let's say per se, a lot of people, they're hooked up on TikTok, right? And a lot of the younger generation might be hooked up on TikTok. And yeah, there might be some good content there, but the essence of tapping into different realities very quickly— like, you could watch like a dog video and then like some, some girls twerking or whatever within like a span of like a few seconds— it creates a lot of attention deficit problems. Okay, so this technology, this cell phone, like you said, could be used in a very positive manner and it could be used in a very destructive manner. What comes down to is how the individual is using it. And again, that's the accountability that every person has to take, because the thing that's— the things that you consume, they matter. They matter. And they, uh, it creates a kind of, uh, an imprint of the the external reality that you'll experience, the power of the mind. You know, studying the work of like Bruce Lipton and, uh, you know, seeing how the mind works is, um, is really amazing. And it's something that could be curated, right? You can curate the mind based on your environment, the things that you consume, the people that you speak to. And yeah, so if people would just take accountability on that it would be fantastic. And use it for growth and knowledge and really, really, uh, you know, being mindful. There's nothing wrong with that, being responsible.
And that, that, that's all it is really. But people have this— and I was there once— you just think, oh, it's, it's woo-woo nonsense. Um, the mental programming that is trying to fight against the thing that's going to free you, you know. A virus doesn't want something in, in the system that is going to make it weaker. And that's what, uh, the regime, the programming they put out through the media is intended to make you do. So the mentality of actually you can do anything you want and you just need to, you know, direct the energy and stop with these negative, negative forces, uh, it fights against that.
But they are negative forces, you're right. And, uh, go ahead.
If people understood that, to just try it. You say you're so scientific and anti, you know, magic or whatever. Just as a scientist would in an experiment, try it out for a month and really give it a go. And then if life doesn't change, cool, you disproved everyone else who has had that experience. But on the plus side, you could completely change the reality that you're in very quickly.
Very quickly. What we do have to realize is, you know, the enemy is a snarky one, you know, and very, very mischievous and very intelligent in his own manner. And we have to be aware because these, these applications and these, these things do attack, attack you on your human nature, you know. That's why you could get a lot of pornographic content or whatever on these apps, whether it's, you know, Instagram Explore page or TikTok or whatever. And people, people, people need to rise above their human nature, their animalistic base instincts, and enter into realms of higher attainment, you know, and, and putting that energy into building. And we have a good community of that on, on our side of Twitter. If you follow the right accounts, you could definitely get access to some brilliant minds that are building real things in the real world. And it's a, it's a great source of information. 100%.
That is, yeah, if for social medias for people to be addicted to, do Twitter if you have to pick one, uh, depending on the people that you follow. Of course you need to curate, but if, you know, if you're following, uh, this podcast, then you probably are, have been exposed to that kind of world on Twitter. So Understanding that is like a default programming system that just runs in the right way. Um, even, you know, I, I still scroll Twitter, guilty, but when it's things— and I'm not 100% with this, and maybe this is a sign to, you know, do it more strictly with the accounts and content that I see. Um, it's all good stuff, it's interesting stuff, it's stuff that I can then, you know, talk about, or something I've learned, or you know, just cool stuff that's, uh, people doing in the real world, like you said. And if you have that as your default, then it's really hard not to have your mind opened up in positive ways.
You curated that environment for yourself, you know. It, uh, you were mindful of, uh, of consuming the right content, and that's what you built for yourself. Um, you know, I just want to ask you a question as well, is, um, how did you get into, uh, to health and, you know, this whole, this mind frame? What was your journey like? Was it more, uh on the physical level, or was it— did it start with the spiritual level? Because I realized that some people will come more, uh, that they could begin with a spiritual level, and other people could, could start more with like taking care of their body and then seeing the effects spiritually as well. I'm curious on that.
Yeah, I was definitely physically, uh, minded first of all. Uh, it started really when I started lifting in high school, the last year of high school. And wanted to actually understand, okay, people have done this before. How do I get my muscles bigger? What's the best way to train? What food should I eat? Um, looking at supplements, creatine, you know, you start off with, uh, all these kind of base level things, but it was just a lot of reading and it was like, oh, okay, so if I train this way, that's, that's better for hypertrophy compared to something else. And if I eat this in the morning, and then it was just a slow drip of implementing all these things to either— I never really worried about body fat, I was always pretty lean, so I was like, okay, how do I get bigger? And, um, progressing through that and then understanding, okay, what makes you more muscular also makes me feel better because you're just healthier and you have a higher capacity to, uh, put on muscle and your hormones are aligned and things like that. Your state of health, I think, is a underlooked aspect of hypertrophy is like the healthier you are, the more muscle you'll be able to support in a high-functioning body. So regardless of your calories and how you lift, how healthy you are, how strong your hormones are, is going to make probably one of the biggest differences in terms of body fat composition and your ability to put on muscle. Um, so I love that. Yeah, anyway, uh Yeah, the spiritual end came through just, uh, it really was gym and then reading kind of started at the same point. I, I mean, I read all my life, uh, which I'm very grateful for. My parents made me read a lot, uh, but it shifted towards reading, um, you know, fantasy style books, uh, which I still love, but shifting to self-improvement. I remember reading Meditations by Marcus Aurelius, and it's a meme book, but It's very palatable for a young teenage kid, and, um, it really, you know, distills some incredible wisdom. People say it's a meme, but, you know, it is a good book still. Uh, yeah, obviously. And I found it incredible how it really hit me. I was just sitting in the garden reading, or sitting in my room reading, and I could read in my head and hear pretty much a Roman emperor give me all this wisdom. And I imagine he was you know, talking in the forest out of me. We were walking along side by side and he was just sharing his wisdom. And that really just inspired like, boom, okay, there's this different way of thinking. And it had crystallized a lot of the feelings that I'd had before. Like I would say I was just born naturally stoic as well. I never really got upset by things other than the big ones. I was like, oh, why are you crying about this thing? Like, you, uh, you know, popped a tire or something. Like, it doesn't matter. It's these things that people— that's another thing is everything really that you worry about is self-imposed anger and frustration that doesn't need to exist. The external environment and the events that happen, they— it is what it is. They are what they are. And then your interpretation of that, you think, this is a bad thing, I'm going to be angry and upset now, right? And there are events that are classically bad— losing your job, um, you know, a loved one— but the broader principle over the stuff that doesn't matter, you don't need to inflame your body, get upset, waste mental energy, lose, uh, really positive momentum over things that don't matter.
And you, yeah, you were very aware of your inner faculties.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Uh, again, I'm grateful for whatever past life prepared me for that. But, uh, so it really was just a nice smooth transition. I didn't really have any health problems to the degree that, uh, you know, you, you experienced, right? But it was— and then I started, uh, studying human biology at university, and so that was, you know, obviously pretty helpful as well. And just, um, figuring it out in my own way, you experimenting myself, like trying every supplement if I read about it, uh, trying a different method of training or living, fasting, optimizing sleep, cold, hot, you know, all of these things to where you get a body of knowledge, you feel how good it feels, uh, to eat good and live healthy, and then you want to tell others. And that's what it kind of was born out of, is like, okay, I've made these changes, this is how much better I feel and how my life has changed. Let's share the news.
Yeah, amazing, amazing. Yeah, it was just like a big, a big snowball effect. You just kept building momentum, kept feeling better, kept, uh, realizing the impact that, um, you know, being aware and, and, you know, consuming the right things nutrition-wise, content-wise, or reading the right books has on your life. I always find that interesting when someone, uh, you know, does follow that path and never, you know, they didn't have to. Like, for me, I had to, I had to because I had a condition, right? So I had to take on those steps, whereas you, you know, it was more of like a natural inclination. Yeah. To you. And, you know, that's amazing. That's really good stuff. And I think a lot of people would be inspired from, you know, just this whole conversation so far has been really, really good. Nutrition. Yeah. And even nutrition-wise, like, you know, one thing I bring that up is, um, I would read your tweets and I would see the things that you would eat, or even, even on the mindset stuff, and I would be like, wow, this, you know, like, you know a lot. And, um, I resonate a lot, which is, uh, sometimes it might be hard even for, for, for people to, to find those people to connect with in, in, in reality, like the everyday life, like their, their circle. And, uh, you know, over the internet you have access to, uh, a lot of these people, which is really cool because I was like, you see, there are other people out there that do live like this, and the community is growing, which is fantastic. It's really great. And that's what I want to keep doing. I want to make that community grow even more.
Yeah, man, it's, uh, it really feels like what I'm meant to be doing. And that's, if I could recommend Like, people, uh, what's my calling? Um, what do I do? I don't like my job. Just what do you feel the best doing, and what just feels right is really like, what is the heart feeling, telling you about the various activities you go on throughout your day? Some will feel good, some will feel bad, um, or not right, and you just got to pursue the stuff that feels better.
Yeah, you gotta walk the path. Yeah, you gotta walk the path and more things will be revealed to you. That's another thing is, you know, letting, allowing things to be revealed to you. A lot of people are rushing and they're in a nervous state of mind where they need to achieve things right away, you know, or they see the flashy cars or, you know, the money, or you gotta You gotta nurture your vision, you know. It requires time. It's like, for example, it's, it's like, let's say a pregnant woman, you know, and the couple is expecting, uh, their child, you know. It won't come out in a week. You gotta wait 9 months, and then you'll get a beautiful child. But our visions require time and nurturment. You gotta nurture it slowly, and that, that's a great art, a great philosophy to to curate your environment, nurture things within their time, and, and really water that area of your life, you know, like don't hop from one thing to the next, really just nurture something and let your purpose be flourished from that, you know, from, from your work, like your life's work. I think everybody should have something that they're building for their life. Of course, it evolves over time, but you should have something that you're putting your life into. And a lot of the greats, you know, they've done that and they created beautiful lives from that and they've inspired many, many people out there. And that's where mastery is. Mastery is a lost art nowadays because of, you know, people's inability to, you know, for delayed gratification. We want things right away and we've kind of been programmed that way, you know, with like all the Uber Eats or, you know, Netflix and, you know, all this stuff on demand. Where the really good things of life, yeah, take time, you know. And you gotta, you gotta respect that process. The same way nature doesn't rush but still it accomplishes everything is the same way that we can't rush. We have to respect our process and allow things to flourish naturally, and we can still accomplish everything by doing that.
And, uh, it's— I like to tell people that When people get maybe overwhelmed by all the things they have to do and, you know, upset about the day-to-day, just zoom out. What do you want to achieve over 10 years? Think in terms of decades, because the seeds that you plant today, like you said, they will be, you know, you'll be harvesting that 5 years' time from now. You know, what can you do today? The day-to-day doesn't really impact the 10-year vision, but it does, uh, exacerbate people and make them upset. But there's no point to it because if you are doing the daily momentum builders, watering the plants, then the 10-year vision will come to fruition in time. So delete all of this unnecessary stuff, self-imposed suffering on the day-to-day.
Yep, it always does. It always does. And there is that unnecessary suffering, like you said, that anxiety that we produce. It's, uh, you— we need to discard it. It's useless, you know. I often say like your elevation requires your separation, you know, and that also includes the poor mindset habits and the poor patterns that you've created, you know. You got to separate from that and start operating within a different, a different, uh, frequency, you know. You got to hit a different realm. You got to be more— don't think so linearly, you know. Yeah, you got to build inwardly and then things will come to fruition outwardly as well. And that's, uh, you know, that's a big thing. And we're, we're capable of so much. And I, I do think that an important step for people to take is to really take care of their body. It might sound, uh, you know, a little bit like, you know, whatever, like a lot of people are just like, just grind it through, you know, power through. But, you know, that's not the way, because in the long run, your, your vessel carries your faculties that you're gonna operate, you know, within the world. So when, when you're, when you're very healthy, when your avatar is healthy, you have the ability to think sharper.
Right?
You're, you're naturally more confident, you're more powerful, you're stronger. Uh, as surface level as it may sound, you're more aesthetic. And, you know, you know, looking good and having that physique and that confidence is a great way to, to— for the world to give you more of what you want, whether it's, you know, surface level or not, it's true. So for people, I think a good place to start would be definitely to start taking care of their health and the foods that they consume. If you don't know your purpose, at least start here, because your purpose won't be given to you if you can't even take control of your own temple. I firmly believe that. I think that you need to be in control of your innermost faculties before more will be added onto you, you know. And that was for my life as well, you know. I needed to— because when you're living in a distressed, in a dis-ease kind of state and you're going, you have some pains and stuff, your mind isn't really on creation and reaching higher levels of attainment because you're dealing within matter because your physical body is impaired, you know, you have ailments, you have things that are holding you back, and until those things are resolved, you won't be able to go to higher levels. You're being chained down So I think the number one thing is for people to learn about, you know, proper nutrition and the way that humans are designed to eat for optimal function, because we are. And that is a lost art. It's crazy because when you look at nature— so my, my, my naturopath, my mentor as well, um, he would always tell me to observe nature, you know. And there's no animals in the wild that are obese. Have you ever seen like an obese lion or obese giraffe, or, you know, you don't see any obese, uh, animals out in nature. And, uh, you know, they just instinctively know how to control their body. And the same way, I think humans need to learn because, you know, we're, we're different. We, we're able to think for ourselves, so we don't have that divine, uh, that, that just do what you're designed to do We're able to think, and that's where like the bad programming comes in. Like you could see like fast food stuff or processed foods and all these mega corporations that put addictive chemicals inside the food so you can get addicted on it, and then you're getting sick, and then you're feeding the pharmaceutical industry, you know. So really being mindful of your body, so realizing what your body takes to operate optimally is the first step that people should follow when it comes to discovering your purpose and a greater calling. Okay, so I think people really need to take accountability of their physical vessel, their temple, you know, and that again, that's a commandment as well to take care of your temple. And it's, it's the one thing that will help you unlock your higher potential. I firmly believe that. You know, dude, you'll never reach your potential without that.
I was— there were about 8 different things I wanted to go off and go deeper into. That's crazy. Uh, it's true. Yeah, that's, you know, the first step for everyone. You— whenever you're sick, like you said, you have low energy, you're going to be angry. Um, you just—
even, even the thoughts— sorry to cut you off, but even your thoughts Man, like, like, you know, if, if your microbiome is off, per se, and you have all kinds of parasites inside your body, in your microbiome, your thoughts are going to be off. Your thoughts are going to be dilapidated, you know. And it's, it's so deep how much the physical body affects the spiritual and mental body. And people really, really need to, to, uh, to understand that. And if there's one thing that they take from this conversation that we had is that A lot can change when you start to take accountability and you start to care for your own body. But anyways, yeah, go ahead, go ahead, my brother.
Um, nah, man, it was just— it's cool to see this stuff propagating itself. And, uh, I knew there was a reason why we, um, why I was drawn to your account. And, uh, it was really good to have you here.
Likewise, brother. I mean, um You know, it's, uh, it's, it's like, like we said in the beginning of the show, it's, it's how God and, and the goodness of the world unfold naturally. Remember, you had touched on that a little bit in the beginning. And, um, you know, things happen for a reason. I don't believe in coincidence. I think everything happens for a reason in life.
Well, so whether or not that— okay, this is not— this is how you should treat beliefs like this: everything happens for a reason. Sounds a bit airy-fairy, sounds a bit whatever, like whatever, man, it's all good. But if you choose to believe it, you create that belief in your mind, then the external will start to reflect that. And anything that does happen, even if you don't think you having the belief changes physical reality, which it does, the person that believes everything happens for a reason is going to be more upbeat more, uh, able to pounce on opportunities that he sees, happier, more motivated, more confident, all of which will go hand in hand to mean that, hey, everything happens for a reason, that's all good, he's going to have more success, he's, he's not going to be impacted by the external so much, so he wins regardless. So all of these beliefs, these spiritual things that some people have, this negative reaction to, just— it doesn't make sense not to believe it, even if you're the, the biggest rationalist there is. Because when you believe that, taking out all the magic side of it, which is magic, uh, you're gonna have a better life. It's obvious to me, right?
It is obvious. And you know what the crazy thing is about it is the amount of influence that you have on your mind, because you do have control over it. You do have control over perspective and how to— and how you're viewing these things. Yeah, right. Like they say, life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond.
It's 100% how you respond to it.
You see what I'm saying? Like, things will happen and then you gotta respond to it your manner. How are you going to respond to it? You know, and the way that you respond to it dictates the outcome of that event. So people really, really have so much power over their reality just by controlling their mind and not allowing these negative thoughts to infiltrate their psyche and then to fall into an emotional state. You know, when something happens in the mind, people sometimes could dwell on it and then overthink about it, and then before you know it, it's a whole emotion has arisen from that. And then we know emotions are very powerful as well, you know. You, if you're feeling sad and depressed, the universe is going to give you more things to be sad and depressed about. Yep. You see what I'm saying? Because that, that's your field of perception. That's your, that's your field of resonance. You're resonating on that frequency.
Yes, that's, that's good because that's one of the points I wanted to expound upon. Um, the choice of being more positive will make your actions in physical reality better, but on a, on, on the same level, if you're happier and healthier, then your energy level, uh, is increasing. So everything else Positivity, success— these events, these God-given events happen more frequently the higher your internal vibrational energy is. And that can change through a number of things: your actions, your perspectives, formally and foremostly, but also your diet, your exercise, the environment you're in, how much sunlight you're getting, how mineralized you are. These are all direct inputs that you have control over, that you can experiment with, and in order to raise your internal vibrational energy field, or how good you feel all the time. And then exactly that is like this second order of success that is achieved, not just, you know, what actions you take in this physical world to make your business work, for example.
Right. I think Joe Dispenza is very big on that. He, uh, you know, if people go study a few of his work and they could see how, you know, the vibrations that we emit in the world, how much of an effect they actually have, just even on our well-being. You know, people have even healed, you know, just, just through their mind, believe it or not. You know, I highly doubt their, their nutrition was bad. I mean, they must have been following a diet as well, but whenever you have the, the physical body and your mind operating at an elite level at an optimal level. And now, and now you're synergistically running through the world, you know, because you're using two main faculties at their highest potential. Do you know how much like creation power you have because of that? Because now it's just flow. There's no, there's nothing, there's no resistance points that are holding you back because there's even like You know, negativity in the mind, that's a resistant point that's holding you back. It's not allowing you to reach your highest potential. It's not allowing you to, to, to create, to, to manifest because you're being held back. So people really need to synergistically work together within the body and the mind, you know, find that optimal rhythm, the cadence, you know, a really good cadence of optimization. And, you know, there's nothing wrong with, with, you know, striving for, for optimal performance. I think it's, it's a great thing to be vital, to be strong, to be powerful, too, because there's a certain amount of time or life that we're granted, you know, in this reality. And I firmly believe this is, you know, it's an amazing reality. It's a beautiful reality. There's so many amazing experiences, and I'm forever grateful just to be alive and to be breathing. It's, uh, you know, it's, it's amazing. People really need to fall into gratitude. Why not? Yeah, live it to the fullest, you know. And, and living it to the fullest is really going all the way with the faculties that you've been born with, you know, your mind, your spirit, your body, like really putting these things to like crazy high levels of, you know, input and output, because whenever you're controlling, you know, your input outwardly, you're going to be promoting that same kind of energy and efficacy within the world, you know. And it's, it's, to me, it's, it's way bigger than just the material expression of, you know, running optimally. It's really being grateful to the Creator and being like, thank you for this gift, thank you for this gift of life. I'm going to use it to my fullest and I'm going to fulfill my mission with it.
Yes.
See what I'm saying? Yes, fulfillment, 100%.
That's a great shift because you can fall into the optimization trap of service to self. And right, I did this. I think everyone has that experience. Maybe it's it's part of the journey where you're not really thinking of anyone else because maybe you don't even have the energy to think about anyone else. You're just thinking of yourself and okay, what can I get out of it? Because where I'm at right now is not good enough and I don't feel good. So there, there has to be some level of self and ego conception to begin with. But then again, you're raising your energy field, literally how much energy you have throughout the day to do things. Then you have an excess to give to other people, to help other people out, to share, to build with them, to employ them, to whatever it is that you choose to do. Even if it's just entertaining them, that's a wonderful thing to do for people. Um, then you know, that, that's what it's about.
Yeah, I agree. Uh, and you know, that's, uh, that's what it comes down to. It's, it's to reaching your full potential. And touching on the ego, there, you know, you have a false ego, then you have a healthy ego as well, you know, like to have that self-belief, that confidence, and that, that warrior spirit. This is, this is part of the healthy ego which drives you to become your best self, you know. I think everybody who Because to me, a great sign of intelligence and willpower is manifesting your, your ideal vision to the world, right? You know, like, you, you could talk about these things and you could, you could have it in the mind, but you need the ability to imprint it on reality, you know? And to do that, it requires that self-belief and that confidence. You know, and then people are gonna see that, look, look at that, he's, he's really, he's really about it. And then they're gonna be down with the cause, you know, they're gonna see and they're gonna be like, this person knows where he's going, I'm gonna follow. And that's why confidence and self-belief is super important. And yeah, so I don't— I try to, you know, there's that balance that you want to, uh, to find because, uh, there's— there is a community a health community that is all about dissolving the ego. And, you know, it's maybe perhaps more of like a New Age mentality of, you know, just a laissez-faire, and you're just kind of going with the motions, going with the flow, let things be how they are, you know, where you need to find that balance of, no, if, if I want to change the cards that I've been dealt, I need to take that upon me and do the actual work. You have to do the actual work, you know. You can't just sit back and expect things to fall on your lap, you know. If you want something, you got to go out and create it as well. So there is that fine balance. I don't think ego dissolvement in its full capacity is a good thing for, uh, for people that are, that are mission-oriented and that want to make difference in the world, you know. And it doesn't have to be brash. You don't have to be out there, you know, being narcissistic in a negative way. It's about believing in your truth, standing firm in your truth, creating your truth, imprinting your vision into the world. And that is the highest form of intelligence to me. It's to have that ability to do so. And yeah, it takes work, takes work. For sure.
Two things come up there. One is, um, by their fruit you shall know them, not the words. Anyone can say words, but you're not gonna take, uh, muscle building advice from the skinny guy. It's the same concept, you know. Is your life in a positive momentum? Are you helping other people? Are you at least visibly happy? Are you— do you look good? You know, that is the real test of what works or what doesn't. And theories are just theories if it doesn't bring some positive, uh, real-world effects. And, uh, people can get lost in the theories because, I don't know, it's easy to get lost in theories and, uh, rather than take action, you know, it is easy to read about stuff. Uh, so I think people just get stuck into that, which I was for years. And, you know, it's always all a necessary part of how everything is unfolded, but if you could go back in time, which you can't, so it's pointless, but let's just say you can for this exercise. I would have told myself to just start taking action earlier, sharing what I already knew. I maybe some imposter syndrome was like, oh, I'm not knowledgeable enough, or I was just scared to post because of what other people might say. But I knew it was something I needed to do. Just had that feeling inside me for so long. And if you have a feeling inside you that won't go away, a thought, something that your mind keeps coming back to, there's a reason for that. And you can't just push it away. It has to be dealt with, it has to be investigated, it has to be, um, you know, brought forth to the world in whatever capacity that is. Otherwise you'll just keep having that thought and you won't really feel right.
Absolutely. Um, yeah, so one, like you said, faith without works is dead. So you got to have the works. And then, you know, if you do have a vision, if you are gifted with, uh, you know, that, that vision and that reality that you want to create, that is purposely designed and gifted to you, and that is for you to uncover and to unravel into the world, you know. Yeah, people, people can sometimes just, uh, downplay it, or, you know, neglect that vision, or, you know, maybe they could get excited about it and they could share it with other people, but the people that they share it with aren't having, you know, an exciting reaction about it because it's not their vision, so they don't understand it. You see what I'm saying? So you have to— if you hold a vision, you need to nurture it and go out there and create it on your own, to have that self-belief and to push it forward on your own, because no one is gonna— no one is really gonna believe it as much as you do.
Yep, no one else is going to be able to see what you can see or understand what your plan is. That's why they have their plan and their vision, but you have yours and your perspective. And trusting that is arguably at the base level of all the good that's going to come into your life.
That's why sometimes we say is to not speak too much about your plans until they are done, because outside energy could ruin your trajectory, right? So let's say if I'm, if I'm super, super excited about something and I have this vision and I'm, you know, I want to create it, and I could go whether it's to my mom or my dad or my girlfriend or, you know, or my friends or my teacher or whoever, and they don't share that enthusiasm, I might kind of get down on myself. You see what I'm saying? So people, people really need to just trust in themselves and, and then take those actions. And when it comes to taking action and building your vision, I don't even believe in the concept of failure, you know, because even those, even those setbacks or, you know, obstacles that you face, those end up becoming the way, those end up becoming, yeah, you know, your, your evolution, your progress. Yep. So I really don't You know, I don't, I don't resonate with failure. It's, to me, it's you're building. I'm building.
And that's why perspective is so important. A failure is a lesson. The same experience, you learn something from it. Usually, you know, if it's a failure, why you didn't do something or achieve something that you thought you wanted to, or whatever. Or even if the failure is, let's say, out of your control, then all this is a redirection or a lesson. And if the perspective of an event is now good compared to bad. That was a failure before, now it's a lesson. Boom. Every time you think of that experience before, whereas before you would lower your energy field and go into shame, guilt, fear, now it's going up. It's acceptance. It's, oh, I'm glad I went through that. I'm glad I had that lesson. And you can do that about any event, full stop. And then every time your mind drifts to that again, it's a positive reinforcement. Or the issue is kind of resolved, so you stop thinking about it as much. And, um, again, you're just going to experience a better life from, uh, that perspective than, oh, just trudging through all these failures all my life. And then it, it, you know, you can be happy about whatever happens.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's all part of the evolution, you know, all part of the progress. You can't, uh, you know, and people, people got to be okay with with going through some struggle and going through some pain and going through some difficulty. You know, it's who said that it was going to be easy type of thing, you know. Who said? It's not going to be easy, but nothing great ever happened easily either, you know. So yeah, you got to have some grit, some resiliency to you as well when it comes to these things. I'm sure, I'm sure, you know, you yourself, you've put in a lot of work, a lot of dog hours to get to where you are, you know?
Yeah, it's— I, again, I think because my perspective came before the real upward trajectory of, you know, everything that's happened, is that no matter what happened, I was kind of like, okay, this is just a problem to solve, and a problem to solve is an opportunity. And so whatever happens, it's like, is it these grinding dog years, dog hours. I mean, maybe sometimes where it's, you know, very close to a launch and I haven't really been taking my health as seriously as I could with more free time or whatever it is. But it all energizes me.
Yeah.
And I enjoy all of it because no matter what it is, if your perspective is I'm meant to be going through this, it's all good, we'll figure it out. And, you know, I will commit to whatever it is I need to, then it really doesn't faze— it shouldn't faze you. It should be something that you draw inspiration from.
Yeah, it, for sure. I mean, it stimulates you. And can you imagine if, if there wasn't any of that? You, you would get bored, you know. You'd be— you'd feel, you'd feel bored. You'd feel like there's not enough challenge, and we only grow through challenge. So, yeah, I mean, that's it, you know. You've reached a good place whenever you accept the challenges. I'll put it that way. Whenever you accept them, and furthermore, whenever you welcome them, you know, whenever you welcome more challenge because you see that that's an opportunity for growth. Now that's a mindset shift. I'm welcoming challenge. I'm welcoming any kind of obstacle. I'll take it on because I am battle-tested. You know, I'm— I've cultivated my discipline. I've cultivated my work ethic. I trust in myself and my capabilities to overcome any situation. Yeah, so that's like, that's the warrior mindset, you know? Yeah, it's give me a challenge, give me something I can't handle. Come on, let's see, let's see, give me your best shot, you know?
Yeah, it's also like, again, zoom back in time, uh, you could have been cut in half by a Claymore sword on a, you know, an English field in some civil war. Like, that's, that's a tough life, dude. That's super tough. Yeah. What, what, you know, you don't even have to go back in time. Some people working in the coal mines.
Oh man.
Those kinds of experiences where it's like, if I have to just put in a few hours at the computer, is it really that difficult to just, you know, take my food seriously and my training and be, be, follow that path I don't see it as a grind because it's still, comparatively as to all the levels of existence I could have experienced this, this time around, uh, an incredibly blessed one. And if you have that perspective, again, it all flows into more of that will start happening when you have the perspective.
The perspective, yeah. I mean, the average person today lives better than a king did in the medieval era, you know. It's—
well, some people, some people at least.
But I mean, yeah, you know, the technologies at hand and the, the access to food and, you know, a nice bed and a warm bath every night, whatever. Yeah, so we do have opportunities and people got to take advantage of that. And it is easy because just, just a few generations back, I mean, uh, you know, I'm like, I'm almost like an immigrant, you know, my, uh grandparents were from— were all born in Greece. And, you know, just hearing my grandfather's story, and, you know, he was, uh, he never met his father. His, uh, his father passed away in, in the war, right? In World War II, his father passed away, so he never met his father. He was like 6 months old when his father died, and his mom had to raise 6 children all on her own. And, you know, they weren't wealthy, they weren't— they, they didn't have much, but somehow she managed, you know, and she pulled through. And because of him, uh, you know, and then, you know, he met my grandmother, whatever, and they had my mom, and there's my dad, and then there's me. And people need to have that reverence for their ancestors too, you know, because they went through some trials, they went through a lot of difficulty, a lot of pain, a lot of war, a lot of suffering to bring life to you. And you're, you're still, they're still living through you, you know. You're alive, they're still living through you. So your purpose has to be much bigger than you. You got to take accountability for more than just you. It's for your whole ancestry, your whole bloodline. That's another major thing that people really need to take into consideration when it comes to their life. It's like, no, you shouldn't be okay with just sitting down on the TV watching Netflix, Uber Eats, and, you know, doing whatever the hell you're doing, smoking pot every day. And, you know, no, that's, that's not okay. And it's, it's a lack of reverence for your ancestors, and you should probably be ashamed if you're living that way.
Yeah, yeah, I, I think most people are. It's just whether— have you hit that breaking point where the shame is too much or the fear is too much, and then they numb themselves out, right?
So I get it. I mean, like, a lot of it is the— it's coping mechanisms, you know? Even the mindless scrolling, or, you know, the getting high, or the binge-watching Netflix. I get it. It's— it's— it's— you're numbing— you're numbing yourself out because there isn't enough challenge in your life. You're not pursuing a higher endeavor that, you know, that it's— it's kind of shameful. And you're going into these lower energies that you need to numb yourself. You need to take your mind away from these things, you know. And it applies to so much, like even oversleeping, or, you know, that lethargic mentality. It's, it's like a downward spiral because momentum works both ways, right? You know, a lot of people hear about the momentum talk, momentum in an upward trajectory, but then there's also momentum in a downward trajectory, you know. And, and people are always successful I always think people are always— if, if someone is overweight and he's a bum, you know, and he's successful at being a bum, you know, but he's got to have the wherewithal to turn that around and become successful in the other, in the other direction. And you have that ability, you have that ability to create that momentum and to take on that accountability. People need, you know, they have to look themselves in the mirror and really ask themselves the hard questions. I mean, that's a practice that you could do, you know, I was like, look at yourself 10 minutes in the mirror, and, and, and what do you see? You know, search your soul for your highest purpose and go out there and make it happen. Make it a reality. Let go of all the toxicity of life, you know, the toxic foods, the shows, the programs, the, the relationships, everything. Stop sabotaging yourself. We're, we're creators of our own reality. I firmly believe that your life is 100% your fault, right? Your life is 100% your fault. Knowing that, you also have the same power to create good from that. You know, you can't just be a bystander and put your head in the sand, wait for life to pass you by, and numb yourself out. That's not a way to live. That's not— that's not being grateful for this experience of life. Like we said, you know, if you don't know where to start, start with taking care of your health, taking care of your physical body. Curate your environment to enter, you know, a higher vibration, a higher, you know, law of resonance where you're attracting more good things into your life. Start, start taking those steps though, because one day you may wake up and realize that your life passed you by if you don't, you know. And that to me is some of the— it's so sad to me. It's so sad to me, Sol Brah, whenever I see like older people and, you know, they, they're, they're kind of not aging with vitality. And, you know, the— you could see like a kind of like grimace on their face and you just feel like they haven't reached their full potential, you know what I'm saying? I'm sure we all like, you know, come across these people and It's, uh, it's sad. People really need to, uh, just take control, take control, take accountability, become, become the best version of yourself. It's, it's worth it, it's worth it, and it happens quick, it happens quick. Yeah, you know, you start, you start living that life for 3 months, the end of those 90 days, you know, you're gonna be a whole different person. And you're gonna— and you've created that upward trajectory. You've created that upward momentum. And now you're living with vitality. Now you're pain-free. Now you're grateful. You're not numbing yourself out anymore. You're not wasting your life. You're wasting— you're not wasting your time. Things rob you of your time, you know?
Yeah, it's— that's really a beautiful thing that you just said. But it's our responsibility to make sure as many people in the world are doing that. And then everything else will figure itself out. Yeah, that's—
I mean, you know, that's where, you know, we come in, I guess. And we— there's, you know, we're not alone. We're not alone. And, you know, it might sound stark and like, wow, like, you know, you really got to put it like that. But yeah, you look at the data and, you know, you see the amount of people that are on antidepressants or, you know, whatever the case is and, you know, all the mental health and all that kind of stuff. Yeah, you know, there's a solution for it. You know, there's a solution for it, and you, you have the power to change. Don't give away your power. People, people are too quick to do that. You have so much power within you. You know, you know what changed my life? You know, going to the hospitals and the medical doctors and taking all kinds of drugs, and what I was doing during that whole time is I was just like the system taught me, was just shut up and listen, you know, just do as you're told. It wasn't until I decided to become the CEO of my life where things changed, where I decided to take accountability for my health, the actions I took to get there. I wasn't going to be— doesn't mean I'm the expert, but I'm going to go and, and, and find the experts, and I'm going to learn from them. That's where my naturopath mentor came in. I learned everything from him and he changed my life, you know. So people could go out there and seek. You could seek for these, these leaders, these people. That's another beautiful thing that the internet offers, is that there's so many people that are ultra successful in their niche or whatever, and you have access to learning from them. It's just about how you're managing your time. At the end of the day, you could, you could do a— you could make a complete 180 on your life's trajectory just by managing your time and directing your focus on where you need it to go. And that is the number one thing that all people should be aware of. Your time and your energy has great significance on the life that you're going to end up living.
Yeah, amen, brother. Amen. Thanks so much, Spartan. That's been an incredible episode.
It's been a pleasure.
But I appreciate your knowledge, wisdom, experience, and I'm sure we'll do this again.
Absolutely, man. It was great connecting with you. Keep up the good work and thank you. It's an honor.
See you, everyone at home.
Bye-bye. Bye-bye.
