This is a short spoken promotional/personal-growth video featuring Ann Marie (founder of Becoming Enough and host of the About This Life podcast). She recounts childhood feelings of exclusion and describes how those experiences led to coping mechanisms such as people-pleasing and self-doubt. Ann Marie invites viewers to join a "Find Your Voice Challenge," framing it as a path to dismantle limiting beliefs ("I'm too…") and reclaim one’s authentic self, with faith-based language about second chances.

Hey you. I am Ann Marie, founder of Becoming Enough Becoming you as well as the about this life podcast.
I wanted you to take a trip with me back to when you were younger. We won't say how many years, right? Wink wink, when you were younger, what that experience was like for for you as friends or so called friends. They didn't include you to all of the parties and the overnights.
You felt ostracized, you felt alone.
And because of the activities and things that you liked in particular.
No one else shared that.
Along the way you took all of these feelings of isolation into your adulthood.
You developed some coping mechanisms.
How many of us can say that we are people pleasers, everybody else comfort being before our own?
How many of us can say we were taught and brought up that a woman had a certain place. We were not to speak or disturb the peace because sometimes we are waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Coping mechanisms protected us, kept us sane in our sanity. We perhaps if you are married or had children.
You shared and you took those mechanisms with you. Putting other people first.
Well, I want to talk to you about a journey that can change things just a little bit and it is called the first find your voice, Find your voice challenge.
In find your voice challenge, we are going to take away some of the programming, programming of things that say I'm not good enough. I can't do this because I can't do this because I'm too tall, I'm too short, I'm too thin, I'm too large. You know.
All the I'm toos, all the things that you used to believe, all your belief systems, all the reasons why you can't. We are going to take a look at our inner selves, take a look at our heart because I happen to believe in a God of a second chance. And you know, I stumbled on that word because it's really not a second chance. It's another chance and another chance and another chance. You, you get the idea that God gives us so many chances. How do we get from imposter syndrome, from being bullied, from being a people pleaser, how do we make that journey into be our wonderful wondrous selves?
Well, I'd like you to come take a journey with me. I'd like for you to join me and to find your voice challenge. Together we are going to go through some dares, some prompts. We are going to spend a special time together and we are going to bring back fellowship where we can work with one another so that our true the truth of who we are, our true heart.
