Short street-interview transcript where interviewers ask what participants look forward to doing. Speakers discuss travel aspirations (skydiving) and one speaker describes how working in the trade-show industry lets them travel now—company pays flight, hotel, car rental and a per diem—so they don’t have to wait until retirement to see the world.
Something you guys are looking forward to doing that you haven't done yet.
Are you saying here. Are you saying in general, in.
General, in life.
Travel? I guess. I mean, I'm starting to travel a lot now.
Oh, no, that's crazy. She wants a parachute. Skydive. Sky.
Awesome.
Yeah. You can't love yourself to do that. So if you want to travel for free, all right. Not wait until you retire to travel. Because a lot of people, what they want to do when they retire is travel. See, what I'm doing right now, I'm in the trailer show industry, right? So I go around the whole United States doing trade show conventions, and the company pays for it. They pay for the flight, they pay for the hotel, they pay for car rentals. They give me a hundred dollars a per diem for food. So I'm traveling before I retire. So I'm doing everything that a lot of people want to do when they retire. So get yourself into the trade show industry. They'll send you everywhere to do it, to set up these shows.
