We are here with the do the Thing champion from the bucket list challenge, Darcy Bolden. And I'm so excited to have you here because the community voted for you during that challenge and you were like a living, living your bucket list. So it's, it's just seems perfect that you were like nominated, you know.
Yeah, well, thank, I mean I was so, so honored and I loved the opportunity to have done that, that challenge because when you posted it, it was like, I, it's so my thing. It's like this is what, what I do. This is like my, my life. And so it was like perfect.
I love it because you know what happens is when people get to see that, right, and they see you living your bucket list like on a daily basis, not just needing like a 14 day challenge, right? Like this is literally your life now is you're like living your dreams. And I think that then kind of motivates anyone to be able to say, wait, okay, like, okay, so this is only 14 days. You know, I could do it for 14 days. And then who knows, maybe they'll be able to take on some of that, you know, continuing on in their life. And so that's what I'm excited about having you here, you know, is being able to talk about this for sure.
Yeah. Well, Stacy, like you said, for those that don't know, my, the short version of my story is five years ago. Well, let me back up a little bit further. Well, I used to be almost £300 and I was broker than broke, living in a suburb apartment of Austin, Texas. And long story short, I decided I wasn't going to sit on the couch anymore and wish and wonder, you know, what about this beautiful and amazing life that could be out there. I had all these dreams of adventures and travels and all that, but you know, at 300 pounds, you know, some of that stuff was going to be off my, my bucket list, like climbing tops of mountains and things like that. But So I lost 130 pounds and then I, I ditched everything I owned. I manifested an RV and I just, I hit the road to go do the quintessential, you know, go live the dream. And that year has turned into five years. Like I'm, I'm actually still on the road. So it was my journey to, to go literally check off everything off my bucket list. Um, and so I call it goals. Going on a living spree. That's what I do. G O A L s of going on a living spree. And so it's literally what I do.
Yeah, I love that. And hey, guys. Good to see you. I see Joyce. Let me see. It's hard because it's, like, still on restream. So hard to see. And then someone on your group. Darcy. Oh, yeah. I don't know if you see that. See you. And then someone is saying, congratulations. So cool. Oh, Jean. Jean Green's here. Amazing. So glad to see you guys. And yeah, so we're twins today, so Darcy was the champion. Say hi if you guys are here. Let us know if you participated in the Bucket list challenge. I co hosted that challenge with Laura Carney, who is the author of my Father's List. And I feel like that sort of like. Or it did. It set the stage for so many things by being able to really tap into what that book was and. And you know, where just for anyone that doesn't know, her book basically talked about her dad had passed away, and years later, she found his bucket list, and she spent years basically doing his bucket list and wrote a book about it. And then I think that really kind of brought the community into this whole other level that I'm still feeling of purpose and meaning and, you know, being able to live for who we are and what we even want in the world. I'm curious, like, how you felt that impact, because being that you've done several do the thing challenges now and now that, you know, you're basically the champion of this one.
Yeah. You know, I think what was so neat is just like her whole. Her whole story, you know, that it just really created a momentum for this group and kind of that. That inspiration for that whole thing. It was just. It was so beautifully tied in, you know, and then just, you know, everybody that participated, you know, I mean, just props to everybody that just hopped in there and took on all the. All the dares and really stepped out there. And I think again, kind of with how you tied that in together with Laura, that it just beautifully let everybody express and share and create, and it just kind of grew this beautiful life.
Yeah, I love that you said that. And it's so weird. Whenever there's, like a Do the Thing challenge, I feel like there's a new level that we reach as a group, you know, and being able to really kind of like, stretch our comfort zone and go after our. Our goals. I would love to hear from you. So you mentioned, like, having, like, been overweight and then basically ditching everything and going on the road. So for people that are, like, watching you and they're like, how in the world I know we Did a full, we did a full live on that, you guys. If anyone's interested, we have that. I don't think we, I don't think I knew Restream back then, so I think it might have only been in the singles group. So let me know. I can always post it probably on YouTube. But we have a full story of you telling that. But I'd love to, just for anyone watching, especially people that finished the bucket list challenge and now we're like, okay, now what am I supposed to do? You know, I'd love to just kind of tap into how you, how you did that and how you're doing.
That is a great question. Here's the neat thing about that story too is I, I Left home with $12 to my name and only enough gas money to get to my first destination. And you know, the really big driver force for me and for anybody that's listening is just having just that really, really solid, not just your why, but what I call your deepest why. You know, it's like, why is it that you want to go check these things off? You know, why isn't it important? I'm sorry? Why is it important for you to, to live these things out in your life? And so in my life, I mean, my why was, well, because I want to travel and adventure and I, I want to know what it's like to wear a bathing suit on the, on the beach rather than jeans and a long sleeve shirt to hide my 300 pound body. And. But the deepest why is, is asking of your why, you know, okay, well, why is it that important to me that I go travel and then I go check off all these things on my deepest why was because I just, I didn't want to leave this planet having wasted what could have potentially been a beautiful life. I did not want to leave here sitting on a couch in a suburb apartment, just wishing and dreaming of all these things I could do. I, I would have been full of regret. And I thought, you know, I mean, I just, just try, you know, I mean, just, just try. Okay? And so, right, no money. I manifested an rv, and that's why. And I teach manifesting mastery, by the way. That's a beautiful, incredible manifesting story in and of itself. How $12,000 just literally showed up in my bank account, you know, that I was able to go buy that rv, but I had never even stepped in an RV before I even got the one that I had much less hitch it up or back it up. Oh my God, step scary. But it really was Like, I'm gonna just do the thing. Like, I'm gonna just try it. Like, I'm not gonna die. And if I do, I mean, at least I know that I. I tried this thing. And I knew that's like, I'm not. Even though I've only got this 12 bucks and this enough gas to get to Shreveport, Louisiana, you know, I. I knew, like, I'm not gonna be stuck there indefinitely. Somehow I'll manifest, you know, enough gas money to get to the next place.
And.
And it just grew from there.
Yeah, it's so. It's so good. When you're able to see kind of the change start, right? And you're able to see the. The. That the. The things unfold. You don't need to know exactly what's happening, but you just need to have an idea, right. And being able to manifest this vision of what you want, and then from there, you're starting to see it unfold as you're, like, making these moves.
Yeah. And also, too, those big butts getting in the way, you know, of just like, yeah, I want to do this. Yeah, but this. Yeah, yeah, but, you know, what am I going to do about the animals? Well, what. But what am I going to do about the dog? You know, the. The kids, about the money? But, but, but. But we'll just butt our way out of anything that we want to do, you know, and it's like, honestly, guys, I mean, I'm living, breathing proof that, you know, I mean, you just. Somehow, all of us, we just figure it out. I mean, we figured it all the way out to this moment right now. Of all the things that we didn't think that we could do, somehow we just figured out. I mean, if you've ever broken down on the side of the road, well, somehow you just figured it out to get yourself out of that. That mess, you know? So for me, it's just been one of these things of just like, anytime that. But comes up, I'm like, and I'll figure it out somehow, some way. Just somehow. And like I said, I mean, here it is five years later.
Amazing. So, okay, so let's talk about the bucket list challenge, because you got to share some of the cool stuff you've been doing during that. Do you want to just kind of, like, speak to it? Because I feel like even just a race car thing was like, you know, from you having this dream, you know, and then. And then having this experience, I feel like sometimes you have these big goals, but there's just, you know, like, you said the buts that get in the way. So I'd love to just have you share that experience. And then also, how did you move past it?
Yeah, okay. So, yeah, you're right. I had fun, like, sharing with everybody in the group of all these images of things that I've checked off my bucket list over the past five years. And I'll just share a couple that I shared in the group. One is that I love the picture that you shared. Me actually happen to have my do the thing shirt on when one of my bucket list list was to go to Daytona and experience nascar, like, all expenses paid. And. And that is exactly what. What happened. And I got to do that last summer. And I got to wear the headphones so I could hear the crew and. And all of that. And the rumble of the seat. It was just.
Ah.
So there was that one. And then one of the other things was, I. At £300, I want to know what it would be like to be a traveling showgirl. I wanted to dance in a champagne glass, and I wanted to have people screaming and clamoring for me and asking for my autograph after the. After the show. And. And as it turned out to be, I. I literally. I got to be in stages. I got to dance in a champagne glass. Um, and so I. I sent a picture or shared a picture with that in the group. And just also too, of doing, like, oh, I shared this one, too. I imagine in my mind this one of doing an underwater photo shoot of a tea party in the mood.
That's right.
Yeah. So I shared that picture, of course, the way that the image, you know, it's. It's. You can't. You can't tell, but, you know, it's like, wow. You know, I mean, right. I mean, to think that underwater tea party. How do you make that happen? Right? And. But that goes into all the. All the manifesting stuff. But like I said, I've got just hundreds of them at this point, you know, so some things are really big, and some things are just. Just really little. Yeah.
So good. And. Hi, Cheryl. Nice to meet you. I think, you know, Cheryl, she said, doing all the things. I love that. Welcome. Welcome to the Live. So, yeah, I'd love to see kind of like, you guys that. And even if you haven't been in the bucket list challenge, like, what is on your bucket list? Is there something on there that you weren't able to do during the challenge that you're really wanting to do? And maybe Darcy and I can talk through that. Would Be really fun also. And I'd love to. While we're waiting for people to comment on that, I'd love to hear kind of what your advice is to people on being able to. Whether it's manifesting or doing. Yeah, doing all the things.
Yeah. Okay. So first and foremost, it's just, yeah, it's just to write the list out and, and don't hold back because I think a lot of us, what we do is we're writing it. It's like, ah, no, that, that couldn't happen, or that's too big or that's too crazy. You know, One of them too, by the way, like I, I put on my list is that I want to have this amazing outdoor dinner on top of a mountaintop. And as it turned out to be, for my 50th birthday, I happen to be in Durango, Colorado, and some friends surprised me and they made this beautiful table setting outside on, on top of one of the highest mountains out there. But had I not put that on my list because I was like, oh, I mean, what are the chances of that, something like that happening? You know, but literally, I mean that there's power in, in the writing of just putting it down and then just, literally just let it go and hold it. Don't, don't figure out the how or the, or the process because I think that's where we get really tripped up because we start thinking all the process of what it's going to take to get there and then it's like, you know, and we kind of shut it down. So just put it down. The universe is going to go to work on making that, that happen. You know, like, I didn't know the process to make this mountaintop dinner happen. Or for example, another one that I posted about was I wanted to go flying in a, in a biplane, in a Stearman, you know, open air cockpit airplane. And so I just put it down and I knew that at some point it would just show up. And as it turns out, I have a friend who had a friend that owed him a favor who was a Stearman pilot. I happened to be there and he's like, hey, I know that you wanted to do this. He owes me a favor. Let's go. You know, and, and honestly too, for so many of the things on my bucket list, because I know a big stopper for people too is money. They're like, you know, I, I want to do this. But the money, honestly on my list, most everything has shown up for me, like, paid for, like I haven't had to pay for most all of it.
Yeah. So when you're doing that, so you're writing down the list, right. And then what's kind of like the next step? How does it, how does it then be able to transpire after that?
Yeah. So for some things, if there's something that I really want to do. Right. Because I have the list of all the things that I would like to do. Oh, by the way, I have a really good tip for this to write your list is to start it like this. Wouldn't it be cool if.
I love that. That's so great. Yeah.
And it's so fun to play with a friend. And I'll, I'll do that, is that we'll set a timer for five minutes each and we'll go for five minutes and say, okay, wouldn't it be cool if. Wouldn't it be cool if that? And what's cool is because it takes the pressure off of, oh, that can't happen. You know, I wouldn't ever possibly be able to, to do that. But once you've got everything written down, like I said, if there's something really specific with that. The process that I use in manifesting is from. One of my favorite manifesting teachers is Neville Goddard. And Neville Goddard talks about feel it real. And that's where you go to the end of the scene. You're imagining it in your mind what you want, and then you imagine yourself having already gotten it. You've got the thing.
You did the thing. Yeah.
How are you experiencing you having gotten the thing? And it's a full sensory experience. Like you've got virtual reality goggles on. Like, how are you celebrating? So, for example, like the, the Daytona one that I saw myself outside that stadium, like, like it could. Feeling the rumble of those seats and how my heart was pounding and remember hearing in the, the headphones and what it looked like outside at night time with the lights over the. The stadium and, and feeling like, wow, you know, this is so cool. And it was gifted, you know, so it was that, that at the end. And truly, I mean, every time that I've ever done that, it's played itself out exactly like that. But the big thing with that is, is what I say is you got to drop importance, like set it out there and then just let it go. Like knowing at some point sometime, if I kind of keep checking in with it because it's something I want to do, it will show up. It absolutely will show up. Amazing.
Well, for those of you just Joining, I have Darcy, the Do the Thing Bucket list challenge challenge Bucket list challenge champion with me right now. I see Mike's here, who is one of our champions as well. So. Hey, Mike. Good to see you. And hey, Leslie. So good to see you. And Hi, Michelle. I saw you earlier. Yeah, it's exciting because I feel like. I mean, it's so inspiring, inspirational, Darcy, when, like, you get to see, like, the stuff you're doing, right, and how easy it is to get kind of, like, caught in that fire, you know, of life, of just, like, the same old and the monotony of the things that could just seem safe or easy, you know? And then when you get to see you, like, just doing all of these things, you know, I think it is. It's inspiring. So help. Help people see how to start, like, so the starting point is writing down the list, right? And then if they're having trouble writing down the list, it's like the Wouldn't it be cool Game. Okay, let's play that game now. Right? Let's play that game now. So what would be a. Wouldn't it be cool if.
Yeah, well, everybody should put it in the chat. I want to see people like, wouldn't it be cool if. If what?
Yeah, wouldn't it be cool if you could meet your dream partner? Wouldn't it be cool if. What's another one? Let's think.
Yeah, we'll do it for you, Stacy. Like, wouldn't it be cool if.
Well, I just did this the other day. I just had this epiphany. I'm doing this audience accelerator program. I'm launching it in April. And that was that post, actually, that I think you even commented on. And I was like, wouldn't it be cool? So right now, it's already building this online audience and helping people basically create an amazing community and then turning it into something amazing. And so then I had this moment of, like, wouldn't it be cool if I could connect all these people with audiences together and create this, like, do the thing consortium? Anyway, that's my. Wouldn't it be cool, business wise? Wouldn't it be cool then if I could, like, have a foundation that could then support, like, all of these audiences and it could help anyone that we want it to help? Anyway, that's a couple of mine. I see Cheryl. Cheryl played with it, too. Wouldn't it be cool if I got to tour Prague in the next five years? That's amazing. I love that. Yeah. Yeah.
And right when you play. Would it be cool? Don't you notice already your frequency starts getting really high here. I tell people, like, everything that you ever wanted, it's just waiting for you to arrive. And it's just getting to that. It's already in. But if we get down into quantum physics, which is my. My world that I love to play in. Right. Everything is actually already here. It's just waiting for you to be that frequency match for it. And that's what I love about. Wouldn't be cool because it just inherently has that.
Yeah, that's amazing. Okay. Wouldn't it be cool if I got to. Where do I want to do I want to? Like, I want to do. I do want to. I've been talking about this a little bit, but I think it'd be really cool to take. Do the thing on the road. My daughter graduates middle of next. Like, May of next year. So I was like, oh, maybe sometime in, you know, 2025, that would be really fun to take do the thing on the road, get to meet everybody, and then connect all the people together in the different cities. That's another. Would it be cool? Yeah. Okay, we gotta see you guys comment here. Oh, good. Mike.
Amazing if I live being true to who I am, is what Mike said.
I love it. That is so good. That is, like, my obsession in life. Okay, so Mike just brought up the space for find your voice, if you don't mind, because you were part of that challenge, and I think, like, I got to see you literally transform in front of my eyes if you remember that, like, doing it messy. Doing it messy moment of, like, what do you want to share? Because we're actually. That's gonna be starting on Sunday, which is. Yeah, yeah.
Do you want to share? I would love to share about that because, you know, for me, it's like, yeah. Wouldn't it be cool if I could find my. My voice? You know, I mean, I. I'm a teacher of, you know, manifesting and all these things, but I. I still find myself holding back or. Or holding in, and it was that challenge that Find your voice and see. I love how Stacy sets these up with. With the dares. I mean, I think that's what. What's so great about these because it helps to push you outside the comfort zone and, you know, kind of give you that challenge, you know? I dare you to. And so what transpired for me in that was this. I've been so worried. Worried about. Like, I feel like I filter everything that comes through, you know, like, I want to make it land over there really good or I want to not sound like a blithering idiot. And, you know, like, I want to hide that I'm feeling nervous and afraid and anxious and scared. And. And so it was that challenge that one day I was just rolled out of bed, no makeup, messy hair, and I'm like, you know, this is real. Like, this. This is real, and this is what I have to say. And it's like, I'm gonna just not hide that I feel uncomfortable. I'm gonna trip all over my words. And. And this is how I look. And here it is, you know, and it was so liberating and so freeing. And that's been now my motto moving forward for me to be able to. To speak, you know, even before I come on here with you, it's like, I just might. So just do it messy. I like, okay if I trip up all over my words or stutter or whatever. Well, whatever. Yeah.
And it's so easy to get in your head, and I think this relates directly to the bucket list and doing what you want. You know, it's so easy to, you know, not be able to think that you're not able to do something, you know, and to be able to, like, tap into who you are, what you want. That's like, the key. The keys. What did I say to Key to freedom? You know, I said that today in a podcast interview, but. Yeah, I'm so glad. I'm so glad you. Yeah. Shared that. Okay, we got a few more here. Oh, Cheryl. Okay, great. Cheryl said it would be cool to get to Prague and maybe back to Hawaii. Very cool. And then, let's see. Oh, okay, we got another one. Wouldn't it be cool if I could overcome procrastination? So why don't we. Oh, hi, J.C. nice to see you. I think he's on yours. Huh? Darcy.
Hey, jc.
Oh, Darcy is an amazing human being. I love that. That's so sweet.
Sweet. Yeah.
Oh. Do you want to share just kind of, like, some of the comments that we got? What would be kind of their next step? So they're going to imagine them doing it. Right? So, like, I've now done the thing, overcome procrastination, gone to Prague. Or maybe I'm. I'm still in Prague. Or am I still in Prague? Or am I done with Prague?
You're. You're. Maybe you've. You've landed. You've. You've landed there. You know, it's like, oh, my God, you've just gotten off the plane. You look at her like, oh, my God. You know, I, I did this. So. Yeah. So if the feeling real now, next important step of this is start talking about it. Like start sharing with, with people with it. Because you never know. Let me just put it this way. Somebody knows somebody somewhere that knows somebody that has a connection for you. So if I never said anything about flying in that Stearman, if I couldn't just kind of drop in it here and there, you know, I mentioned it to my friend. Well, yeah, right. Coincidentally, he has a friend who's a Stearman pilot, owns his own Stearman, you know, I mean, so that's the thing. You just, just share it. Like, you never, never know. I'm actually in this do the, the bucket list challenge. I, I shared on there that one of the things on my bucket list was to have my journal that I created actually published. And you know, and I, I shared that. And then, you know, Laura pipes in there and said, hey, contact me. That's what I, you know, what I do, you know, and if she's not able to help me, I know, you know, then she be able to help point me in the direction of somebody else. But, but definitely share it. And again, I can't emphasize enough is don't worry about the money. Like, just don't even think about, about the money, you know, because those opportunities will still open up if, you know, sometimes that seems like it's a big price tag on something. I mean, you just never know. The universe is conspiring for you to have whatever you want to put the people in there that are going to just, you know, here's an all expenses paid trip for you, you know, or.
Yeah, you bring up such an important point is like, I think what happens is when you think about the money, it traps you, right? Because then you're blocked. You can't, you're like, I can't afford it. So then it stopped. It no longer exists as a possibility. But if you could just play, this is maybe another game you could play, you know, which is like, if money weren't an issue, you know, how could I make this work?
Right?
And then all of a sudden you're starting to talk about how you can make it work. And then either the money sometimes can find you or you can find some way to be able to do it, to be able to push through.
Yeah, well, you know, and that's what I'm saying too about like for that RV that I manifested. I mean, I would like I said I was broker than broke. I mean, I just made the decision. I'm gonna leave home in an rv, period, you know, And I knew, like, okay, somehow, you know, I'm gonna manifest this. This rv, you know, and the most interesting thing happened because. Right. I mean, RVs are expensive. I mean, even when they're. Even when they're used.
Yeah. And.
I was. When I was in that process of manifesting that RV, a I got an email from. That was a PayPal notification that I had just got. There was $12,000 that was just deposited into my account, and I. I almost didn't look at it because I thought it was a scam, you know?
Yeah.
And so I. Out of curiosity, I looked at it, and I was like, it was from my dad, who randomly sent me $12,000, saying, I wish that I could have given this to you the day that you graduated from college. And I graduated from college in 1995. And this was just. It was his way of wanting, being able to. At this point in his life, to give me the gift that he wanted to give me when I graduated from college in 1995. You know, I mean, so it wasn't me hitting daddy up for, hey, dad, can you buy me an rv? It wasn't that at all. It was. You know, I'm on my own here trying to. To figure this out, and it just. There's. Boom, $12,000 in the bank account.
Huh? I love that. Okay, do you guys want to drop a new thing in the comments, which is. We have. We already did. The. Wouldn't it be cool if. Now, let's say if money wasn't an issue, this would be the thing I would want to do. Oh, yeah.
If money were not an issue, I want to know. I want to see if. What's. What's in there.
Yeah. So curious. Do you want to. Also, while we're waiting, do you want to let them know about your journal too? Yeah.
So while I was on the road getting my head on straight, I did say to go live the dream, but. But truthfully, it was to go get myself sorted out. You know, the. The quintessential go find yourself, which I did. That's a whole nother story, but that's fascinating and very interesting, but I. I put together a really neat journal. It's unlike any other journal. I'll show it to you. It's the manifesting your dreams journal. And it's. It's. It's really magical, and it's meant to create not only transformation, but help you to manifest what it is that you want most in your life. There's that process to it. And the way that this is designed is, is to naturally get you into this thinking, feeling state and raising your frequency and, and putting the stuff out there. It's, It's. I'm very proud of it and I, I brag about it a lot and I, I wanted to offer everybody a free copy of that. The free download of it at. It's a free manifesting journal.
Amazing. Yeah.
And Stacy and I told you this too, that I, I want to create. Oh, I am creating BE as the 21 days experience, which Stacy and I, we kind of. I've helped model that after the do the thing challenge, and Stacy was the inspiration for that. And so we're going to go through manifesting your dreams. The bucket list champion is going to help you manifest your. Your dream. So if you, if you download that journal@the freemanifestingjournal.com you'll be on my, my mailing list. And I can let you know when we, when we do that. But I, I'm looking forward to it actually being published. That is on my. Wouldn't it be cool if.
Yeah, that would be so cool. And it could have potentially come out of just even the bucket list challenge. Right. Mentioning it and then Laura saying she has a potential person that you could reach out to. It's like being able to announce these things out loud. You know? How important is that?
Yeah, super. Super important.
Yeah. Yes.
I'm excited for. And I just, I just want to say again, like, I'm just hearing that too about the, the find your voice challenge, you know, because I. That right there, it is so powerful that I know just that challenge alone, like, when you're trying to manifest the stuff that you want, when you've got your voice and you feel like you can, you can express who you are and what you want. By the way, I want to add that in there too of like, what do you want? And what I mean is like, we all want things, but specifically what do you want not for your kids, not for your spouse, not for your friends, not for your family. Not a want of like in order to. But the, the general want that makes you just giddy buzzy. Just like, ah, again, wouldn't it be cool if. But that's why on that list. What do you want?
Yeah, it's so important. And you guys, I did put the journal up on the top. The QR code, if you want to click on that and you. That's for free, which is just amazing. I love that. And let's see did anyone go ahead and comment what your dream would be if money were not an issue? I'd love to see that for sure. Let's see. Oh, if money was no object, I would travel the US by train. I love that.
That's on my list.
Yeah, I love that. Oh, someone scanned the QR code. Yay. I love seeing that in action.
Yeah, cool.
So, yeah, so feel free, you guys. That's free from Darcy. It's her gift. But yeah, traveling the train. So what does that look like for you? How are you going to make that happen? Let's also help. Let's do this together.
Okay, let's see. Like this is, this is the process, because I really do. Yeah, I want to travel. I want to do like a cross country train trip either in the US Or Europe.
I.
So I'm gonna just leave it, I'm gonna leave it, leave it open here. I mean, that's another things. Just leave it, leave it open again. You don't have to fill in the details. Like sometimes when we get caught up in all the little details, like I said, don't worry about that process. I'm just like, okay, train. And I'm picturing that, that train, like maybe it's in Canada or again, it's in Europe. And I'm, again, I go to that point of I'm actually on the train. Like it's happened. Like I got my ticket in my hand and I'm on, I'm on the train and I've got my eyes closed with a picture like virtual reality goggles on. And I'm looking around and I can see the skylights in the, in the dining car. And I can feel like, just like the sway and I can hear that, the click, click, click, click, click of the, of the tracks. And I can just hear just that rumble of the, of the engine. And I can smell the food cooking in that, in that dining car. And I pick up that glass of wine at the table with the white tablecloth and I hear the clink of the glasses and I'm just like, wow, wow, wow. Now the night's starting to come and I'm starting to see the stars out in the sky through the skylights of the train. And. Yeah, and it's just as simple as, and like, just play. You know, you just see yourself start to, to smile with those things. And then I'm gonna just start talking about it. You know, you guys hear me say, hey, I really want to go on this cross country train trip. And you never know, somebody might be like, hey, you know what, Darce? I. I heard that. I had this trip booked. I can't go, and I don't want to. I don't want my money to go to waste. So please, here, just. Just take it.
You know, it's so true. It works like that. Like, I just. It's like you have that, you know, like, it's being able to speak it out loud, and you just don't know who you're talking to, you know, and being able to then get connected to whatever that is, and then all of a sudden, that's how it happens. But if you're keeping it hidden inside yourself, it's never, you know, it's not going to come out. No one's going to know what you're even wanting to do, you know?
Yeah. Stuff has to get here through people. Right? I mean, we don't just think something and it.
Boom.
Like it materializes in front of us, you know, most time, like. Like the things come from or through people, you know, like the tickets.
Yeah. So good. Oh, my gosh. Well, please give your number one piece of advice for people on doing the thing, because you are a spokesperson for it. That's.
Oh, my gosh. My number one piece of advice is do the thing. Yeah, well, beyond that, it's the. The number one is. Is again, to create that deepest why. Right. We're all gonna check out of this planet. I know. Not a one of you, not me, not none of you want to leave here being like, man, it was all right. Or worse, you know, in sadness or hurt or anger, regret, you know, I mean, it's cliche, right? I mean, our time here is short, you know, I mean, we never know. Tomorrow is never, never promised, you know, by the way, and I share that in our challenge. My. My husband.
He.
I talked to him on the phone. This was two years ago now we're talking on the phone, and he was telling me all about his hopes and his dreams and his goals. He was telling me how he wanted to ride his motorcycle across the Bonneville Salt Flats and going camping and, you know, all these things. And. And two days later, he lost his life in a motorcycle accident, you know, and. And he was just talking about all these things, but, you know, he was somebody who worked himself to the bone. Like, never took a day off. Like, never. He worked off on two or three jobs and. And he never got to have that make the time to do the things, you know, and. And, you know, there he was at the end, like, just wishing and hoping. And I Know at least, like I say for me, like, I can at least leave her, like, knowing, like, I at least I at least tried that I at least said that. That I did it. Because again, like I said, I know you're sitting here not thinking that you're just going to be like, it was all right. You guys have a beautiful, extraordinary life. You were put here to experience the glory and the greatness of. You were meant to have it all. You know, that's a whole nother subject, by the way. You know, we just got to really be able to receive and we got to not get in our way of receiving, by the way. That's another. Another big one. But again, that's a whole other thing on holding guilt and shame that we're not good enough for it. We're not worthy or we should be punished. La la la la. So that stuff will kind of get in the way. But again, that's. It's a bigger subject. But, you know, it's just if it's something, you know, just, again, is to put it out there and just what if. Okay, what. What if, like I always say, just run a play. Okay, like, just run a play. Like, all right, I'm gonna just run a play and see if this would pan out. I'm gonna just run a play and see if I can somehow rustle up the money for this train trip and just. And see, like, okay, what if? You know, okay, what if. What about all the kids? Hey, I. I get the money for the train trip. All right, we'll figure it out what to do with the kids. We'll figure it out what to do with the. With the animals. You'll never know. I mean, somebody will show up and be like, hey, I need a place to stay for a week. I'll be happy to come house sit for you. You know what I'm saying?
Yeah. Like, I just feel like what you're talking about, it just. It's the thing that I see so many people do where it's like when they're. When you're saying you want to do something and then there's the ant anti. You know, like, oh, I can't do that because. Right. So we're just saying to switch that. I can't do that because To. Wouldn't it be cool if. And then all of a sudden you're opening it up. I'm feeling a dare coming on.
But yeah, I got a good one for you. I got a good one for you. So for every. I can't because, I mean, Literally write it down. I can, because. And listen. You'll hear the answers and just start writing them down. Even if it doesn't make sense. That's another thing, too. I was. My mantra, like, it doesn't need to make sense. Do it messy. And it doesn't need to make sense. You don't need to make it. You make sense to other people. And that's another thing, too. Like, with bucket list stuff and things like that. It's like, oh, what would the family think? You know, that I want to go skydiving in the nude. We don't need to make it make sense to other. Other people.
Yeah. Oh, my gosh. Well, thank you again for just being a part of the do the thing community and always representing. And I am just, like, I was excited when everyone nominated you to be the champion. And it's cool because I feel like, yeah, you're living a bucket list. So you're really inspiring everyone through what you're doing. And, I mean, you could tell what it is. It's that reframe of the mind. And like I said, you guys feel free to download her journal, because that seems like an amazing way to get started is to be able to, you know, start writing down what your dreams are.
Yeah. Yeah, for sure. And also, I have a. A Facebook page called going on a living spree. Actually, I think if you just even do goingonaliving spree.com like that rolls over to the Facebook page so you can. You can see over the past five years of all the. All the travel adventures and all the stories and my. My little travel buddy there.
Oh, my God. So cute. Yeah.
You know, I travel with a pug. Oh, my God. I love it.
And I'm gonna just put the do the thing, find your voice challenge up there. For anyone that hasn't joined yet, we are starting on Sunday. I'm really excited. We have an amazing group already getting started. The momentum has begun. It's do the thing, find your voice dot com. And it's basically helping you discover who you are, what you want inside, so that way you'll be able to exude it outside. And so all the things that you are wanting for, you really are able to come. And it's amazing because, like, you saw where you get to do it over and over again anytime it comes up. And so. Because by basically joining, then you're. You have access to it for a lifetime. At least right now, that's how I'm doing it. I don't know if I'll always do it. That way.
And I just. Again, I mean, you guys, I cannot emphasize it enough if there any one of these challenges for you to take like that. It's the find your voice challenge because it really. Stacy does such an awesome job on. On the dares of really, she posts the poses the best questions or the things to speak into, you know, to let you, you know, tap into that. That vulnerability or to tap into those areas that, you know, maybe that you haven't thought to express before. And on the other side, I mean, you don't ever have to share your. Your dares with anybody. You can just share it within the group and. And it be private. And there's such a amazing support network there. Everybody's, you know, cheering you on, you know, and to watch people just, like, share, you know, what's going on on the inside, it's. It's. It's beautiful. And you literally see the growth of not just yourself, but, you know, everybody else in the. In the group, but just to. For therapeutic reasons, if that's the only reason that you do it, it's just to be able to say how you really feel. It's that. That's freedom right there.
I love that. That is so, so true. Yeah. And the accidental part of that challenge, which was I wasn't expecting, is it helps people become themselves on camera for the people that want to use the dares to do lives or videos. And so that's what the other thing. That's really, really great. So. Oh, my gosh. All right, well, thank you so much. I appreciate you being here, and you guys will be continuing this conversation, I'm sure. And thanks to you guys for coming. I appreciate it. Oh, and Mike said. Look at. Mike said. Mike, you're amazing. I'm so glad. I'm so glad you guys are here. I love the new people, too. It's great. So, so good. All right, you guys, well, have a great day and do the thing. Don't wait for opportunity. Create it. Bye.
