This is Sarah Moses, the founder of the Do it now community. I'm wearing a blazer today because, as you know, we all need to dress up when we interview Stacy.
I know. I dressed up the other day in Sue's group, and the entrepreneur has gone wild. And she's like, what are you doing? Like, I'm, like, surprised.
I know.
We're shaming each other for, like, dressing up, you know? I know.
That's what I heard. I saw that one and I was like, I'm gonna get sh. Ashamed today in my hair.
Okay. And I saw Julie Trainor. You know, we learned things from each other, and I saw what she did, so I grabbed my Sacred Rebels Oracle cards.
Okay.
I pulled one. Are you ready for what I pulled?
Yeah, I'm so ready.
Ten minutes ago, I pulled a card that said inner trust. I don't know if it'll show up. Inner trust.
Wow.
You guys, I went to the page, and I can't read all of it because it's long, but I. I want to read the first paragraph to you guys.
Okay?
Inner trust, though it may be, cloaked and hidden within you lies natural magnificence, vibrancy, and true uniqueness. The harder this is for you to believe, the more growth this oracle is offering you. Now, your opportunity for growth lies in letting go of the need to hide yourself from the world and to let of any doubt about the wonder of what lies within you. This oracle brings you the message that it is time for you to trust yourself and let the real inner you out from behind the veil.
Wow. Wow. That is, like, so perfect. Oh, my gosh. Isn't that a good thing?
Message for what we're talking about today.
So good.
Okay, I. I just was. Really. Yeah, I mean, time for us all to stop hiding, basically.
I mean, it's in the cards.
It is in the cards.
So, I mean, we gotta just. Yeah.
So, Stacy, if it's okay, I'm just gonna cut to the good part because that's what I like to do. Yeah.
I feel like I want to just. Can I mess around with something really quick? Because I want to see if I can. If I can. Okay. Mess around with whatever I want. I don't know if it's gonna work, but. And hey, guys, if you're in the collaboration group, I am excited. We just. I just decided last minute to go live in here also because Sarah and I are talking about something fun that's happening soon. You may or may not have heard about it yet.
And let's see your Persistent is be. Oh. Oh, I see. Oh, interesting. Let's see. Sure. I'm gonna continue. Okay. Oh, this actually might work, Sarah. Oh, good. So Sarah has a community also, and I wanted to just at least see.
If it would stream because this is doing the thing.
Right.
Like, a lot of people won't do this, you know, at least try because they don't think it'll work. But we are doing the thing.
People saying we do it now.
Yes. So let's just see really quick here. Stream key. And then.
So if you're watching, whenever Sarah and I get together, it's always.
Really. You just never know what to expect. One time, I mean, this makes it sound really bad, but the one time, I didn't even have pants on. I know.
I was gonna check today. Stacy, do we have any pants on?
I do have pants on today. Okay. The truth is, right now, we'll see if the little go live button happens. See, it's like taking a moment. Taking a moment. How long of a moment should we do some, like, do it now music?
I got some Michael Jackson I was just listening to.
I know that's really, you know what that is like? That is what I think that's what you had on in our podcast interview. I think I did probably because I.
Always have Michael Jackson on.
Yeah.
Is there any reason to have anyone else?
All right. It is not working, but it is. Okay. We'll upload it later. So do it now. Community. When you see this on replay, just know that we really did try.
This was supposed to be. And I, I, I put a message into them just shortly ago to let them know that in case it didn't live stream, that I would be posting the recording. So they're going to be looking forward to it. And that's, that's a message that sometimes we do the thing. We do it now, and then we do it now a little bit later.
So good. I love.
Okay. All right.
All right.
So I really, though, have to cut.
To the good part, because this is.
About the find your voice challenge, and you are the founder of the find your voice challenge, and you have helped so many people find their voice, and then you've helped them use their voice, which is what I want to talk about, too, today. Where do you want to start, Stacy?
Yeah, no, I'm glad you just asked me that question, because we have to start with the card, because that's what, like, the core of what find your voice does is it helps you, like, get back in touch with your inner trust. That's why? In my mind, I'm like, oh, my gosh, that's like, so perfect. Because that's what it does is it helps you tap in deeper into, like, who you are, what you want. The voice that's in your head, you know, that, like, we wanna help when it. When it's, you know, saying, no, I can't do that, or, no, that's too hard, and we want to be able to, like, decipher, you know, and so, anyway, I think we should start there.
Right?
Right.
So I. I mean, are you talking about the fact that we. We already. We already have our voice? I feel like. I feel like we have buried it deep inside of ourselves and we have censored it and we have sort of cloaked it. I mean, it's right there in the cards, right? We have. We have hidden it behind the veil because somewhere when we were young, we either used our voice and were told to be quiet, or we got messages from society that, you know, you need to worry about what other people think if you use your voice. I mean, are you. Are you talking about that?
A hundred percent. Yeah. And even Darcy.
You know, her right through the community, and she was talking about. I heard her in a video yesterday talking about what find your voice did for her. She have a tick before find your voice? And she said it was because she doesn't have it anymore. And she said it was because she was filtering her voice so much as she was saying stuff that the tick came out because she was constantly, like, fighting against it, you know? Yeah.
That's incredible that she mentioned that, because I. I think that I haven't stuttered since I decided to just be brave and courageous and stop caring what everybody thought and just go out after my dreams and decide to be a speaker.
But it.
It. I mean, I stuttered up until I. I stuttered all the time when I was a child, up till seven. Barely could speak. But then as an adult, if I put myself in a situation where, you know, I was hired for a few commercials in my 20s, and then I was hired to be on a few TV shows, and I would have to. I would get on set and I would stutter, and they wouldn't be able to use me. I mean, can you imagine? And. But to find out later in life when I went through this really sort of very, very difficult, hard times and then faced just this sort of question of, you know, it's now or never, Sarah. I mean, you've got to make a decision if you're going to live your life full Out. And if you are, walk through the fire, feel the fear, do it anyway. Type of thing about using your voice. And ever since then, I haven't stuttered. I don't know if there'll be times when I might. I'm not going to worry about it one way or the other. But I'm just saying it's interesting that she would mention the tick, you know, and then.
Yeah. And I wonder if, like, it's because you started trusting yourself more. You know, you were no longer scared of, like, what people thought or what they said or the judgment that would come from.
Yeah. Yeah, you're right. I mean, that part about trusting yourself is. I just absolutely gave up that idea of caring what other people thought. And for me, that was a little challenging because I had to understand the difference between, I can still care about other people, but I don't have to care about what they think about me. You know, the difference? Because at first I thought it was being sort of dismissive of people or not respecting people or not honoring people. And I was like, no, no, no, no. Two different things. Caring about people, but then caring about what they think is like putting something on them that they're not even doing. I. Because I. I was just talking to Lucy today about the fact that people really aren't thinking about us. They really, really, really aren't. Right.
So here.
Here we are putting this thing on them as if they're holding us back because they're thinking about us, and when they're not even thinking.
Yeah, they don't care. Yeah, I noticed that when I got divorced, like, I was, like, thinking it was going to be this whole thing, and everyone's going to care, and I was going to get all this, like, support and, like. Like, no one cared. No one cared. No one cared. And so we could talk about that for a while. No, I'm kidding.
Yeah.
But all these things that I thought would happen didn't happen, and. Because, I mean. And it's not that, like, people are amazing. Obviously, we love people, you know, Like. Like, that's my whole thing. But the point is, is we all have our lives, and we're, like, going through it, you know? And that's what ends up helping us use our voice, is when we're able to tap into those, like, inner, you know, inner beliefs that we have for ourself, and we're no longer thinking we have to be something that we're not, and having this, like, mask up, Right? Because then we're just attracting people at our mask. But when we take the mask off. Now we're like, open where they're coming to us.
Yes. Oh, that's so good. And we're attracting the people that we really want to be attracting. Right. Our people instead of someone else's people. The masks people. The mask.
Who wants the mask people?
I have to take my blazer off.
I wanted to dress up for you, Stacy, but now I have to take my cloak off.
We should have done a shower cap. We should totally do that sometime.
I have. I have been on a number of your calls with the shower towel around my head.
Yeah.
But, so I want to talk about the find your voice challenge, because there's so many people in my community and I know all the. All of our communities that really, really need this. And I want them to know, though, that it's fun. Like, I want that part us to talk about that. So can you describe it a little bit for people who don't know that it's a challenge and there's dares and all that part of it.
Yeah.
So.
So pretty much find your voice. What's so special about it is that, like, here's the thing, like, I was saying this earlier in another live, and I want to try to explain it better because the reason why it's so special, it's because there's no attachment to an outcome. You will have outcomes, you have amazing outcomes, but there's not an attachment. Like, I'm going to grow my audience, I'm going to have a podcast or I'm going to date, like, some of my other challenges. Finding your voice. The only outcome in your mind is I want to get to know myself more. And so there's not the normal, like, anxiety and fear, you know, that comes up when you're like, wanting to have this, like, actual outcome. And so I think that's what's so special about it, is allows you just to have this time to just, like, ask yourself a question that then takes it from, like, your conscious mind, you know, that pulls out these, like, deeper layers of yourself. So it's just this beautiful place of like, self discovery and, and help you get to know yourself better, what makes you feel alive, but because you're doing it in a small, intimate group with people who have the same goal all of a sudden, like, you no longer feel alone in your thoughts right now you're doing it with other people. And so, you know, and someone might be saying something that you've thought for years and thought that there was something wrong with you for feeling that way, you know, and now because you saw someone else say it, you actually kind of like, it normalizes it, which then helps the growth get exponential. And so every day I just give you a dare, and that's where the fun is. It's like. It's like, be messy. Be on a walk, you know.
Yeah.
Be sitting in your car. Like, I kind of have a joke through there, which is like, you could do it in the bath, but don't have the camera on.
But. But yeah, and just like. Like get the thoughts out of your head. And it's just this beautiful, like, time of just connecting with yourself, connecting with others. And I do give opportunities, especially since I'm in the collaboration group right now and do it now. I know some of you are, like, wanting to be speakers or are speakers and wanting to level up, maybe even do a TEDx talk or something even, you know, more, you know, whereas there's authors, there's podcasters, or you don't even know what you want to do, whatever that is. There's also an opportunity to expand even more where I give dare, similar to the TEDx dare that I gave people, which is like going up to a stranger. Right. And expanding yourself that way. And so there's that opportunity as well for the people that want it. Only 5% have taken me up on that one. So I'm interested now that this is, I think, the sixth time I'm doing it. If there's going to be more that will take it up. Because every time people get to go, like, another level, pretty much on the comfort zone. So that's been interesting. But that's kind of like what it's about is just helping you. It gets you out of autopilot, because so many times we're just going through life, you know, and you got to do this, and I got to do this, and I got to do that. And it's like, okay, now it's me. Like, I get to actually, like, you know, be with. Play with me for a little bit.
Right. That's so good. I love the part that you mentioned about getting to know yourself better. That's incredible. And the other thing that I've really loved in doing any of your challenges is the people that we meet in the community. And because it has this fun, it's almost. We're playing. I mean, how often do we as adults get to go play, you know, and be in a safe environment and talk about exactly our ideas and. And do these dares? I think it's incredible. I've met. I mean, I've made some incredible friendships in the past year in communities and in your challenges. And I think that in this day and age, feeling connected and with people that are just magical and that I really care about, that's been an incredible gift for me. I just wanted to share that, you know? Yeah.
And I've seen, like, from you even specifically. I don't know if you've noticed this, but, like, when I see you on video, like, you are, like, I see your heart show, you know, And I know when you did find your voice and then just doing the other dares, like, it's been like a process. Right. Where the more open and vulnerable you get to be with yourself and then also share it with others, it helps you show more of yourself online or in person. Because that vulnerability, that's what really helps the expansion happen.
Absolutely. Absolutely. I mean, that's definitely something, you know, the vulnerability part is something that I just have trained as, like, a muscle now in my mind where I, I, I'm never worried about saying the right thing. I'm just focused on saying the real thing. Like, what am I feeling? What am I going through? Yeah. Never worry about saying the right thing. Focus on saying the real thing. And you'll always be relaxed because you'll be in your own, you know, there's your own just self is coming out, just genuine. Right. And the other. The other, yeah. Because I want to encourage people out there. If there's anyone thinking that it would. It's like too much to do this. I want everybody to know. About eight months ago, I don't know the time exactly, I did my first live, and I was almost crying. I was so emotional about doing it. That idea of pushing the live button. Right. I had never done it, didn't know how to do it. And I just want to tell everybody I'm still alive.
I did not die that day. And I've done it dozens and dozens and probably hundreds of times more. And now it's actually fun and easy as long as it works. It's almost like, you guys, have you ever worn contacts or started to wear them for the very first time? I tell this story about my daughter who came home with contacts for the first day time, and she was trying to put them in her eye, and there was this crying and this drama, and it took hours. And mom is never gonna work. And this whole thing that was kind of like me going live for the first time. And then she kept trying every day. And then like five days later, I walked by the bathroom and she's like putting contact in with one hand while she's on a cell phone, while she's, like, doing her hair. I mean, it just became so. So that's like anything.
That's such a good analogy. It's so good because it's true, right? Yeah, it's so good. I love that. And because we get them, you get the opportunity to do it in a private, like, infinite space. That's where the comfort. That's where you're able to, like, grow and grow yourself. And it sort of gets you out of the vulnerability, hangover that you could feel if you're putting yourself out in the ethers of the world. You know, it's. It's kind of like a beginning place.
Yes. Yes. I love that you're mentioning that, too, because you see the other people doing it as well. And for me, that's like seeing someone. You know, we're all on this cliff, and we're gonna make a dive into the ocean. Into the water, so someone else goes first. And I'm like, oh, it's safe down there. You know what I mean? Like, I'm jumping and we're all jumping, and it's super fun, and it's just. Yeah, it's play. It feels like play, and it feels like growth. I've seen so many people have so many wins. Can you tell a few stories? Yeah.
Yeah. Like, Alex was amazing. So she's. She has the community, Mom's meadow. And seeing her, I mean. Yeah. Has been, like, unbelievable, because when she first started, you know, she was never wanting to be on camera or video or anything. And I think her first. The first air she did was not on camera or video. And she talked about, you know, the process. And then from just. Even the first one to the second one. Second one, she was on video. And then all of a sudden, like, there was just this huge shift in transformation, you know, to the point of, like, months later, when she went live in her community and did, like, a kickoff, and people are there and she's commenting and engaging, and it's like, oh, my gosh, like, someone had even posted. Jessica, who's in a common community, like, congrat. Like, was like, I can't even believe this is the same. She's the same.
Oh.
Person to now, like, even she's interviewing experts in her community and, like, you know, like, bringing people in. And so, like, that's just one.
Yes.
She's one example. Yeah.
Alex is amazing now to the point where when I see her, it's almost like watching a newscaster. I Mean, she's so comfortable.
Yeah. And she's.
She's like, hosting for other people. Remember Sean Kelly had her handle, you know, she's just.
Oh, right. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And then Julie Trainor is another one.
That was the other thing when I was gonna mention. Yeah. And Julie. Yeah. When she started, she was heading the back of her mind. Back, back, back of like, wanting to kind of like, get her book. We actually just talked about it, getting out of the book, out of the graveyard, you know, like, and. And then it was like, pretty much. I mean, by dare, I think dare one was when she talked about the book, because that's the dare that's there. And then all of a sudden, like, she just, like, hit this momentum where then after the challenge, she started her podcast. I think she's on, like, 15 episodes now. She's got a community, she's interviewing people, she's doing, like, candle chats. I mean, all of this amazing stuff. And it's all because of find your voice. Because, like, had she not found her voice, you know, in that challenge, there's no way she could be doing the stuff she's doing now. And she ended up submitting her. She's still in the process of the book, but she submitted, like, a piece. I don't know exactly what it's called, but it's a piece of that memoir to a contest, which, I mean, that's so courageous, you know, to do that.
It's. It's wild, all these wins that everyone's having. So. So this is starting again. The find your voice challenge is starting on September 23rd, correct?
Yeah.
And people have just a little bit more time to join. Correct. When's the deadline?
Yeah, so it's cutting off on Friday next week, so. So, yeah, because I give a couple of pre dares, so basically every day you get a dare. It's a five minute video for me. And then you do the dare in the group. And you could either start by, like, typing your answer or audio recording or video or going live, depending on where you're at in your comfort level. Because I want you to, like, pretty much go to where you are and go, like, a little bit outside of it. And then each dare, you get to kind of, like, expand it a little bit more. Plus, it. I think it works so much because you see the other people, like you said. So, like, you're. It's like positive peer pressure, I guess. But. And so. And so, yeah, every day you're doing that and then. But starting on the 20th, that's when the pre dares start, where I give you a couple dares ahead of time so then you at least know what to expect. Because I've done those programs right. Where, like, you're, like, waiting for it to start and you don't know what it's like. And so I like to have, like, a pretty kind of, like, practice so you. You know what's going on, and it helps you be able to do it. And this isn't like a normal program. Normal programs, you're, like, watching all these videos, and then you take action. This is like, day one. You're like, okay, I'm doing it.
I love it. I love that it's easy. It's like five minutes.
Yeah.
Once a day. And it's. It's in the Facebook community, correct?
Yep. Yep. It's in the find your voice Facebook community. And we are. I'm doing something different this time where on Friday, it's just an optional welcome call. I'm doing a welcome party for people because I thought that would be fun for anyone that wants to join. I always say they're not. Nothing's mandatory other than the dares, because I think, like, the magic of find your voice is that it's, like, so easy for you to get the result. There's only the reason why I added the welcome call is because there's so many people that are joining because they really want connection, they really want community. So I thought it'd be a fun way for those people that wanted and were able to join for them to be able to do that too.
Oh, that's so great. That's so wonderful. And is there anything else that's included in the. In the find your voice challenge? Yeah.
So they get the podcast workshop that helped start do it now podcast. So you guys. Sarah, you want to tell me.
You guys, I had thought for years about doing a podcast. In fact, I can't even believe you're including this in the find your voice challenge because it's so valuable. So good. I've been thinking for years about wanting a podcast. You know, when you think about something, think about something was held back by everything I thought I needed. I meet Stacy Lauren. She mentions her podcast workshop, and I was just, wow. So she shared it with me. I watched it. It was 75 minutes long, you guys. So easy. 24 hours later, I had a podcast. No microphone, no light, no nothing. I just did it. I started. I was going. I was having so much fun, and then I wanted to get all fancy, so I got a microphone and you guys, I don't know how to plug it in.
And it's so great because, like, you don't. It's funny how we both have our microphones that we're not using.
That's so funny.
I know, I know. Because it's the conversation that really matters.
Yeah, no, it's true conversation. And. And I think, like. Because, like, you're gonna do, like, are you doing, like, a little private, little group thing with anyone that joins under your. Your. That's the new thing that's happening this time, too, that's included is, like, we have all these little mini cohorts that are going to happen within the group, which is why I'm able to have more than 25 people this round. So I'm excited because you guys are going to love. On your specific group. I don't know if you want to share a little bit about that, but.
Yeah. So I can't. It's so exciting because we. To have a number of do it Nowers together. Do it Nowers. We are the do it Nowers and we are doing. We're going to do the find your voice challenge together. It's going to be so powerful. It's going to be amazing. We're gonna be celebrating everybody. And the fact that the podcast workshops included for them. That's incredible.
Yeah. Yeah. So join now. And now it's $25,000.
It's worth every penny. Yeah. It is funny, though, because there's people that are. There are programs out there that are charging, like, five or ten grand for, like, what the same result. Find your voice gives someone, like, just from. If you look at just the clarity alone, that's that. Right. Or the being able to be confident or go live on camera, like, that's worth it. Like, in itself, it's like, just because it's 17 days. Right. It doesn't mean the result is what most of those other programs will give you, you know, like. Like you were longer period. So this is amazing.
Yeah. That result, that confidence and the clarity. And just actually, also, I think us all being together, it has people take action more than they normally would. Because there is an element of accountability in there.
Yeah, for sure.
Right.
Yeah, sure. And the perfectionism that you flex as well. Yeah. And so do you want to mention the price, you think, or.
Yeah, I think I think we definitely should mention the price. You'll have to remind me.
Yeah, no, it's good normally.
Yeah.
So you're gonna be mad at me again, but Sarah always gets mad when I undercharge for stuff.
She's getting mad again. But I'm gonna. We're in the wealth experiment, so we're doing. Yeah, but yeah, Normally it's like $200 typically, you know, because of the results you get. I didn't want to do the 5,000, 10,000 thousand for this because, I mean, I'm able to do it really easily with these on demand videos. So to me it made it easier to be able to have more people access it. This time though, I decided to do it at $47.
Because I just wanted more people to be able to access it because it is such a special challenge. That.
That's incredible. Oh my gosh. What a gift to my do it now community. That's incredible. Thank you so much. Because you're right. I mean the result of this, it could take people years to accomplish what they're going to be able to do in 17 days.
It's. Yeah, yeah, for sure. Well, I'm excited. I'm excited to see your community that joins for the more intimate experience. And then anyone in the collaboration network, if you see this video, I'll put Sarah's link in the comments so that way you can join her specific cohort as well. So it's going to be fun.
Thank you so much, Stacy for coming and have a conversation. I hope we can have you again in our do it now community. I'm excited. I'm going to be finding my voice again. I can't even imagine what's going to happen now. So.
Good. Oh, and then as an extra thing, I decided to do a. It's a mini masterclass on Tuesday at 1 o' clock Pacific Standard Time, if anyone wants to join that. I'm doing that with Jackie Lacroix and I'm really excited. That was like.
Yeah, she's amazing. Okay, so That's Tuesday the 17th, 1pm Pacific Standard. Yeah, I will be there. Oh, that's exciting. Jackie's amazing. Oh, wow. Well, thank you for today, Stacy.
Thank you. Thanks for having me. Do you have your battle cry yet? Do you have your like, do it Now. Like we gotta do.
Our battle cry is.
You put me on the spot.
Too late. Never too late, right?
It's never too late. We're just getting started.
Never too late. Just getting started. Do it now.
Okay, bye everybody.
