I do really believe 100% from every part of me that everyone has the capacity to be able to do the things that they want and not to be held back by the mental baggage that's in our head that we want to push through. Welcome to the do the Thing podcast. In each episode, we get down and personal with people who go after the things they want to make all their wildest dreams come true. Join us as we unveil and dissect a formula for what it takes to do the thing. Here is your host, Stacy Lauren. Hey, everyone. Welcome to the do the Thing podcast. This is your host, Stacy Lauren. Well, the startup podcast challenge is officially over and I am uploading some of the other testimonials that we got during the challenge. And it's just amazing to me to see the growth that people have had doing this challenge and now the momentum that's keeping them going to continue their podcasts. I think the challenges where you have a really tangible result of what someone gets to have as an outcome of being able to do the thing that they want to do is really cool. And that's what I love about doing. Some of the challenges I'm doing is by showing someone that they can do the thing that they've been wanting to do, or maybe not even thought they wanted to do, and getting them to do it. It helps them see what other things that they can do by flexing the same muscles to be able to do it. And so I'm sharing some more of the good feedback that we got from the challenge. Do the thing. Don't wait for opportunity. Create it. The fact that I'm connecting with people, they've been in my inner circle. I've done about seven episodes now, and everyone's just got an amazing story to tell and it's really helped me communicate, to step back, listen, ask good questions, to get good answers, and share their message with the world. So thank you. Good morning. This is Mikayla and my favorite thing thus far. And the do the Thing challenge has been the reflection that comes with coming up with topics and how to formulate the podcast, as well as the inventory you had us take that kind of gave us more insight on our mindset. I mentioned in my post in the group that I really enjoyed re meeting myself because a lot of the times we are so ingrained in just being who we are that we don't really think through the step by step because we're just used to doing it. And so it's a great experience to really see yourself from a Different lens. I really enjoyed that part thus far. Hey there, Stacey. This is Michelle McCann. I just wanted to say thank you for all of the work on setting up this hold dare, and I'm super excited. And what I've liked so far about the challenge is just being able to have quick step by step to get it done. I would be researching for probably the next several weeks if it was up to me to do it on my own. So this has made it so easy. And getting used to speaking out loud has really been great too. So I'm looking forward to see how far I get between now and the end of the the challenge. So thanks so much. Hope you're having a great day. This is Nikki Bogan or Nichelle Bogan. I like the community support. I like the group and how positive everyone is. I enjoy the comment, I enjoy the suggestions, the tips, the tricks, and I just love your engagement as the leader of the challenge. That's phenomenal, and it makes all the difference in the world. Have a good day. Hey, Stacy. This is Ruby with Laughing Through Battles podcast. I am thoroughly enjoying this challenge in a number of ways. I believe that it's just really teaching me, if not others, how to be patient with ourselves and how to just enjoy learning and growing through this process. One of the biggest things that I do like is how engaged the group is. Everyone's doing something, everyone's putting forth effort and how that may look to each of us individually. I think all of us being able to see the collective results is what makes a lot of the process fun and makes it simpler for us. So thank you for putting this together. I hope everyone is staying encouraged, and I just expect to see great things in the end. So let's do the thing. Hi, Stacy. This is Zebra from Coming out of youf Cocoon podcast is my title. What I like about this challenge is I really did enjoy setting it up. Now I'm waiting to grow my wings so that in five weeks that I'll be flying on my own. Because with you and Adam's help and all, I know I'm going to get it. I'm keeping an open mind and do what I got to do to accomplish this. You know, at one time there last week, I thought I might as well give up. I'm so far behind. But then it's like, wait a minute. This is the challenge. I got to get in there. I got to do it, do the work. So here I am. I'm going to do the thing. Hey there. I really don't have words to explain what these challenges in this group has meant to me. This is Pamela Nichols, by the way. Being here has been so affirming and transformative. It's been a lot of fun. I've connected with people who are on the same path that I am, and we're growing together and that I just don't have words for it. I really walk away from here feeling invincible that I can do the thing, whatever the thing is that I want to do, that I do have the tools, that I do have the support that. That I do have connection and accountability. And for me, that is major. And I want to thank you for that, Stacy. Thank you for providing this training opportunity and thank you for your patience and all the help that you've given me. I really appreciate it. The deals are challenging, but, you know, each one seemed to bring me a little further out of my uncomfortable comfort zone. And each one is a guide closer to understanding the steps to producing a podcast, Thus me accomplishing one of my goals. So, Stacy, thank you. You're awesome. Thank you so much. I love that it's broken down in manageable pieces that builds my confidence every single time I do a dare. I feel a little bit braver every time I follow your directions. And I also am enjoying your energy because you make it all seem so possible. So thank you. Hi, Stacy. So this is deann Kelly. On my podcast is the Word and Worship morning show. Of course, the thing that I'm loving is the accountability. This has made me so accountable to stay caught up. Hey, Stacy, this is Natalie Perez. What I personally love the most is the fact that it's getting me outside of my comfort zone and challenging me to do step into a zone of unknown and do something that I've always wanted to do despite my fear. Agnes Edwards from Life on My Terms. Oh, my goodness. The question I'm asking myself is why did I wait to start? My advice is jump right in. No matter what is going on, just do the thing. I have been so inspired to start living my dreams through this. These exercises so far, and I can't wait to do more of the dares. So just do the thing. Just do the thing. Jump right in. That's what I suggest. Hi, Stacey. This is Ann Marie of About this Life. Do the thing there has inspired me to step out of my comfort zone, to stop making excuses to take action. It's a thought that I have had for some time, but never went through. I appreciate the fact very much of doing this as a community. I appreciate the lessons learned and the Tips that have been given both from you and your guest. So I would like to applaud you. Thank you for helping us become the best we can be Amory about this life. Take care. Stacey, you have been simply amazing. I am excited. Thank you for always clapping loud for me. Thank you for being in my corner in this boxing match. Thank you, Stacey. You just don't know what this means. I ran around the house when I published that first episode underneath my podcast, and I just was beyond, beyond, beyond excited. You are simply amazing. And what you're doing for me, I can simply not put into words. There have no words have been created for what this has made me feel like and for what this is doing inside of me and outside of me. Thank you, Stacy. Thank you so much for always being there, for being accessible, for, you know, being just as excited as I am. I just simply. I clap loud for you. Thank you. Hey, Stacy, this is Etta from Defiant Faith Podcast. First of all, I want to say thank you to you and your team for putting this challenge together. I was one of those people who had been thinking about doing a podcast. Actually, since I was a guest on a podcast about a year ago, I never really pursued it. So when I saw your Facebook challenge, I was like, here's the opportunity. Let's take this opportunity and at least see what this is all about. And I am so glad I did. Unfortunately, I am way behind, but I am doing my best to catch up before tomorrow, and I look forward to celebrating with everyone that has continued. And whether I catch up before tomorrow or not, I will continue. So I like that it's a community. I like that everybody is encouraging everyone else. I like that I'm able to see people who come out of their shells. The ones who were very timid in the beginning seems now to be opening up and posting their videos using their phone cameras, etc. So I really like that this wasn't quote unquote, a competition for anyone. This was actually everybody rooting everybody else on in the community, and that makes doing the thing a lot easier when you have that support. Thank you again. Have a great day. Hey, Stacy, this is Jennifer with Life Happens. Let's talk about it. I just wanted to leave you a quick message and let you know what I love about this community you have created with the podcast challenge. There's so much that I love about this. The willingness to help people. Just jump in and help you ask for it. You're gonna get it. The freedom to be yourself. I absolutely love this one because I'M always gonna be me. The encouragement that is within this group is amazing. Everybody is gonna be there to help get you going, keep you going and all that. The new friends I've made and just the overall love in general, I can't thank you enough for this. Have a good one. Stacy Hyatt, this is Leslie from Travel is my therapy podcast. I don't know where to begin. For one, I appreciate you for even creating this environment, this community. Like I said, for about almost two years my daughter and I had been talking about doing a podcast. Somehow your invitation showed up in my feed and I immediately signed up. And I tell you, it's been the best five weeks ever. I have learned so much from you, from Adam, from Sam, and just the community of people. I've seen growth in myself and I've also seen growth in others and I just thank you for allowing us to be able to learn and through the dares it came helped us to come out of our comfort zone. So I thank you. Hey, this is Marsha Collins with Butterfly Blessings, a podcast. And I just wanted to say that the do the Thing Podcasting challenge has been amazing and for me it's created a supportive community where people just encourage each other as far as working toward their goals. And everyone is so unique and original with each podcast and their ideas. That is just inspiring and uplifting. And I just have to say, Stacy, you have just been amazing, you and your team with helping each and every participant through the steps of the process. Despite my busy schedule, I originally just didn't think that I would have the time to be able to participate, but I am so happy that I did and I have enjoyed each and every moment. It's been so uplifting. Have a blessed day. This is Velicia Kelly and I am so excited and happy that I was able to participate in do the Thing podcast.
