Short YouTube conversation (shorts) in which Stacey Lauren interviews a speaker about returning to college after taking a year off to work. The speaker says working in the city was fun but not what they wanted and expresses excitement about resuming education; the interviewer asks what helped them move toward that goal (personal statement, preparations) and what will help others start toward similar goals.

What's something you're looking forward to that you haven't done yet?
College? School. I took a year from school to see what it's like to work in the city. You know, it was fun, but it just wasn't what I wanted to do. I wanted to continue my education. So I'm just really excited to start back in school.
So what do you think? For people that are watching or listening that, like, have a goal like that, right, but they don't even know how to start, what do you think is going to help you be able to now go to college? Because you've written your personal statement, you're doing the things now in terms of making it happen, what's going to help you be able to do it?
Just have people in your corner that are willing to help you. Positive people. It's always good to have a helping hand. I learned in life that you can't do everything by yourself. It's always good to seek help. So that's the main thing that I can say for everyone that's watching this.
