A short testimonial-style monologue by Jocelyn Latrice describing her positive experience participating in the Audience Accelerator/Find Your Voice programs and challenges (including a two-hour 'cocktail party' challenge). She describes personal growth, gratitude toward Stacey (Stacy), and her work as a children's book author who created a character called Princess Sunshine and has begun posting recorded readings to YouTube.
So I am fairly new to you. I think my first interaction was the do the thing two hour cocktail party, which I absolutely.
I wasn't going to say anything, but, yes, champion.
I absolutely loved that challenge. And there are people in my life who still talk about me doing that thing and. And how much they enjoyed that first cocktail party. And we've done it two more times since now. So I'm really excited about that. So I loved it. And I just finished Find you'd voice. Although it was my second time going through Find you'd voice. The first time, I quit on the very last dare. Had my own things going on with that, but this time I made it through the entire thing. So I'm really excited about that. And I want to say publicly to you, Stacy, thank you for reaching out and for not allowing me to just go silent, because I used to do that and I tried to do that with you. I just went, you know, well, if I stop showing up and I stop saying anything, then, you know, it'll just end and we'll all be okay. But you didn't let me do that. You sent messages and you reached out and you kept engaging, and I'm really glad that you did that because I have grown so, so much for coming back and being a part of the last find your voice challenge. So one thing that is coming alive and is presently alive for me is a character that I have called Princess Sunshine. And I am a children's book author, so I have one book under my belt thus far and a few others that are being written presently. And that character reads books to children. And so I have been saying that I was going to record myself reading and start a YouTube channel and put that out there and build that audience and that sort of thing. And I finally did my first recording and I posted it and I got a really good response from that. It was extremely scary. I thought I was going to vomit at least five times while it was.
But I didn't, and everything's okay. People have been very receptive. I'm actually getting messages from people asking me when the next one will be available and telling me that they've shared it with their children and their nieces and nephews, and the kids are excited. And so now I'm sending out crowns to these kids who want to be a part of the Royal Readers Club. Like, this has become a whole thing, and I'm really excited about it. And thank you, Stacy, for playing such a huge and pivotal role in that. Thank you.
