We are doing a totally impromptu live stream with two unbelievably incredible people. For those of you that don't know me, my name is Stacy Lauren and I run the do the thing community. And Luis is actually in the do the thing audience accelerator program. And we've been working on the amplify your reach part of the program, which he's bringing on a amazing guest for that part. So we were working on restream and wanting to learn how to go live and going live on Instagram is new. So you might be seeing us on Instagram right now. We're not sure. But anyway, so I have Luis here. He is from New Dynamo U. If you want to do your little fireworks.
And yeah, I'm trying to figure that out here. I've got the confetti and I've got these coming up. But yeah, there we go. We got some balloons. This is perfect because we are going live tomorrow at New Dynamo you. Well, Dynamo you.com which is a Facebook community helping people get 30 minutes of movement each day. And tomorrow going live with Monica Musigi, who actually has her business and she has a Facebook group called running mighty after 40. And we're going to be going live tomorrow talking about getting fit during the holiday season. And it's going to be a really interesting conversation. So come join us. And super excited. It's going to be at 3pm tomorrow, Pacific Standard Time. Tomorrow's Thursday, 28th December. So come join us. That's my little spiel. Go ahead. And I think we're Facebook and Instagram at the moment.
Yeah, it's exciting. So, yeah, so it's funny, I coincidentally. So Luis knows Monica through a common group that we're part of through the capitalism community. And then Monica and I met in person just recently in San Diego and she is like the massive do the thing momentum. Like she's creating a new brand and within three weeks of her starting a program, she like created this amazing product. Now she's got this amazing Facebook group of over like a thousand people in your group and it's super engaged. And so you're just like in massive momentum and why don't you share a little bit about what you're doing and just kind of like maybe what you guys might talk about tomorrow.
Yeah. So my name is Monica Musigi. I am a brand new runner. I started running earlier this year and I was just after my 44th birthday and pretty quickly I realized that, you know, with starting a new fitness running program in your 40s, come a few come a few challenges. And. And so I thought for sure I could not be the only one facing these challenges. And so I wanted to start a community and I did. And that's my running Mighty After 40 Facebook group. And I am now trying to build a brand serving those very same people.
It's amazing when you, like, work on kind of like overcoming something and then you're able to then help people in that way. So imagine tomorrow you guys are going to get to hear all about this and oh, hey, Vicki, it's exciting. And then Luis has fireworks going. Monica knows how to do the fireworks. So we knew.
Yay.
A party tomorrow.
I see some of you guys are here. Do you want to just share kind of like if around fitness? Because we're talking about fitness right now. Right? So the Monica has a running mighty after 40 kind of like whole brand. And then Luis with new Dynamo U, he's helping busy professionals be able to stay fit during crazy times and be able to like, really tap into that importance of doing that. So is there anything that you guys are struggling with that will help them as they're talking tomorrow that you want to make sure they definitely talk about? Please comment. Because I see even though this is impromptu, I see some of you are here.
Yeah. Well, I just wanted to mention that one of the reasons why I started my. My brand is because I myself work 9 to 5 and it was really difficult to, you know, put work aside and really be able to have time to really take care of myself in terms of physical, emotional, mental health and all that. And it wasn't until I realized that this was impacting my life. And I thought that instead of having to go to the gym all the time, having something practical that you can have at home so that you have less resistance and less barriers, you know, is definitely something that has helped me and that's something that I want to share people with people to be able to get exercise at home. So I found the best way was to actually start a community and encourage people and really help. You know, we're accountable to one another, we learn from one another, we grow. And because being fit is definitely a lifestyle. So that is kind of the premise of the brand at the moment and being able to communicate and be in partnership with other people who have their brands around around this topic is definitely interesting, not only for myself, but for other people because I'm also part of this because I want to learn and improve. And as we kind of grow together, I think that's. That's kind of like, something that's beyond us and really profound. So I'm really hoping that people come tomorrow and. And just share and learn and. And talk about being fit.
I love the timing of you guys doing this because I feel like so many people are so just, like, stuffed from, like, the holidays, you know? And it's like the one thing when you're looking at the new year and you're just like, oh, my gosh. Right? Like, I am just, like, miserable, like, in wanting to make a change, you know? And so anyway, I feel like the timing of you guys doing this is perfect because you're going to be able to, like, inspire and motivate people to really get into 2024 in the way that we all want to be, which is, like, what do we care about the most? Right? Like, if we don't have our health, then we have, like, nothing, you know?
Really?
Yeah, definitely. Number one. And I found that for me, it was a catalyst. So I think. And me and Monica, we've already talked about this a little bit, and I'm just excited so we can continue our conversation. But for me, it's. And I. I read something. Stacy, you sent me a little message, and it's about. People know that they should. I don't want to say they know, but it's something that's in the back of our mind that we should take care of our bodies. But it's natural to come across these excuses, you know, tomorrow or the next day or not right now. And it's. It's very common. And that.
Monday, I'll start Monday.
I'll start Monday. Exactly. And I think that there's. When you hold people.
You. It's kind of like saying it's okay to say that, but really holding yourself accountable is so rewarding. And it really gives you so much energy. And it gives you, you know, this ability to really put yourself out there and, I don't know, just see your limits. And I think it's that personal growth that's so amazing.
So good. Oh, good. I'm so excited.
That's great.
Look, I like how it goes right into your face. Louise.
To the right. Yeah.
So.
All right, guys. Well, we want you to join tomorrow. So this will be Luis and Monica doing it. It's going to be held both in Monica's group and then also Luis's group. Um, and so definitely feel free to join both groups. They're both incredible. Luis has 30 minutes of movement in his group every day. I just love that. And Monica, they're posting their. I See people posting like they're running, they're explain what that looks like too. Just. So if someone is running or they want to run, that's an inspiring thing to do too.
Oh, yeah. So in, I mean, in my group at the running Mighty After 40, people will post their runs, their races, that they're preparing for, their struggles, their nutrition questions. And so it's just we're one big dysfunctional family. And it's great.
That's awesome. And then. Yeah, and then Luis's group has got. You want to share? Like, we've had ax throwing and some different things happening. So it's good because you guys are like encouraging and inspiring people to move their bodies.
You know, I think that's the underlying focus because I was a little worried that people would say, oh, I have a lack of creativity or something. And people, this is their moment to really just do what it is that they love to do. But just get your body in motion, start moving, and to become this habit that you integrate into your life. And for me and as a brand, I think that's the most important piece of it because it's the underlying motivation and the mindset and being aware and conscious of yourself so that you can, you know, kind of put these in action. I think that's really the most important part because it doesn't matter if you're doing ax throwing a martial arts or bike riding or running, it doesn't matter as long as you know what it is that your body needs and you get that initiated. And of course, if you're looking for ideas, I'm doing a pre launch for suspension straps, AKA Dynamo straps. So that is a fitness tool that I personally use that you can use at home and to guarantee that you get 30 minutes of movement. But at the end of the day, it's you being able to, you know, just use your own momentum and start getting fit, start getting some movement into your body so that you just feel good.
So good. All right, you guys. Well, thanks for joining and thanks for you guys for being here. Totally impromptu. It's exciting. Thanks for your engagement. And so tomorrow, you said tomorrow, 3 o' clock Pacific standard Time, right?
Absolutely, yeah. So stay tuned with me and Monica. And yes, this was definitely in impromptu. So thank you, Stacy.
And do the thing. Don't wait for opportunity, create it.
