Oh. Oh, my gosh, you guys. Okay, I'm gonna just. I'm gonna dial in in a minute because I have to make sure everyone that wants to see us sees us, sees us. But for anyone that's watching the recording right now, while we're waiting for people to come on, I am so excited because I have the fabulous Lorelei with me, who is from the Creative Wellness House, and we have been working together for the last couple months and have been just starting to create these, like, really fun. Now I'm calling them fun videos. Fun videos. And so I realized as we were creating them that because my journey was interesting, kind of like dialing into them, that I wanted to share it with you guys. And so if you want to say hi to them while. I just want to make sure people that want to see us can see us. And then while I'm doing that, you could just greet everyone.
Hello. Hi, lovelies. I'm so happy to see you guys. I can't actually see you guys, but I'm happy to be here with you guys and feel the vitality of Stacy's group. If you're seeing this and you're wondering if you should click, absolutely you should click. So I'm seeing people say, hello. Hi there. Hello. Just says Facebook user, but that's okay. I wish there was a name. Yeah. So today we're going to be talking about magnetic content. I won't go into detail away for Stacy, but. Yeah.
Yeah, I was just. I was just making sure you couldn't hear me as I'm, like, typing. So. So cool. All right. Hey, you guys. Okay. Oh, hey, Sarah. Good to see you. I was just talking about you. It's funny, I. I did a live with Sarah yesterday, and we were talking about this live tonight, and she's like, but what's magnetic content? And I'm like, oh, my gosh. That's such a great question, because that really helps us, like, determine how to, like, really, you know, start this conversation. Because so what happened was. So Laura Lyon have been working to get. Laura Lyon have been working together. For those of you that did not see the Instagram Live that we did the other day that I've got a lot of really fun feedback on. Basically what happened was I started working with her because I wanted to get more clear on what I was, like, really wanting do the thing to be. And she has a team and has been helping me a lot on the back end and just a lot of different things that her company does that I knew I needed. And the Thing that she does that's really special and different is it comes from this, like, super, like, embodied place. And for those of you that are. Are like, what is an embodied place, it just. You could probably explain it better, but, like, in my mind, it's like, just really being aligned with, like, what you're doing. And. And ever since I decided to monetize do the thing last, I think it was last May, that was the thing that was the most important to me because I already had a business. I had a brick and mortar business. I had 60 employees. It sucked my soul out. Honestly, like, it was exhausting. And the last thing that I wanted do the thing to do was to do that. And so I really wanted to make sure when I monetized it, it came from just this really nourished, you know, place. And that's the reason why we started working together. And it's been so fun working with her until. Until she says, wait, there's videos with this package that we're doing together and I can actually help you create really cool, you know, content videos. And I'm like, no, I love my videos. I. I'm good. And then she. I love doing my live videos and, you know, all the stuff. And then she then basically said. She just said, well, it's part of your package already, you know, and so I'm like, okay, well, I want to use it since it's part of my package. And so I cried for a little bit about it because it's different. It's new. Anytime you're meeting yourself up against your growth edge, you guys like, let me just tell you, like, it's not this, like, easy thing that people make it look like. And so the first video and maybe the second one, they were. You don't like me using the word painful, but I have to be real. I think they were a little bit painful because it's different. Your brain doesn't normally work that way. It's making you think, you know, but what it did was it started to, like, the way she structures these videos is it got me to really think about what I'm even doing. And I think it goes back into this embodiment thing that I started it with, you know, and it helped me really embody, like, what I'm wanting people to get from my stuff. And so that's kind of what happened. And so to be honest, though, what really ended up happening was then all of a sudden I started getting sales from these videos. And then my mind changed. Like, I'm like, wait, this Actually works, like, okay, I didn't realize this is going to like, work and get me sales. So my whole reframe changed. So we just did a video shoot. Was it like Saturday or Sunday? Sunday. And it was actually fun. And that's when you saw the live. If you guys haven't seen it on Instagram yet, you have to see it because it was like, really funny. But anyway, that's why Lorelai's here. Because as we're doing it and I'm like, wait, this is actually fun. Now we realize that find your voice is like the starting point of being able to do these videos. It would have been really hard for me to start these videos without me finding my voice first. And so that's when, as you guys know, when I learn something, I want to teach it, right? Because just like I started my podcast, I wanted to help you guys start podcasts. I was writing my book, I wanted to help start books. I was. You wanted to do a two hour cocktail party. So there we go. We have a two hour cocktail. So it's kind of like everything that I get to learn. Then I like to help people learn it too. So we decided to add this magnetic content kind of like creation process as a bonus zoom with the find your voice challenge for those of you that are going to participate in that and for those of you that are returning, you have access to it as well. And so anyway, that's what we're doing here is we're going to talk about what it even is. And regardless of whether or not you guys decide to join find your voice, you will get value from it. And if you're watching this and you're in the singles group, or if you're sitting here and you're in the challenge group and you don't think you have anything to sell, you're still here. Because it's going to be worth. It's going to be worth its weight in gold to be able to like, at least learn these concepts. And you can apply it, I'm sure, to your life too, with that. Okay, Lorelei, I'm gonna let you explain who you are, and then you can speak to what I just said. And then we'll go. We'll go from there.
Yeah. Lorelei Bay yet. And I help women, or embodied feminine leaders step into their assignment, which means stepping into what you're meant to do in this world. But the way that I do it is through embodiment, is through creative strategy, and is through feminine energetics. So the laws apply everywhere. Being magnetic with your message is not very different from being magnetic in. When you come from your embodiment, at least being magnetic in the dating world, you know, you can almost consider yourself a brand. No matter where you go, whether you're on camera or you are in a room full of people, you know, looking to attract a suitor, people can feel you. And that's really what I'm tapped into. The energetics of our message, the energetics of our embodiment, the energetics of what we have to do. It resonates, it moves people. To resonate means that it touches, it moves others. And so we can do that with our words, we can do that with the way that we present. We can do that in so many different ways. So whether you're here and you own a business or you, you're from the dating singles group, you can still benefit from being magnetic. Being a magnetic woman, being a magnetic man.
Yeah, that's so good. And I feel like it's so easy to get caught up right in the. The noise, you know, in your head. Right. And the things that could get in your way of even being magnetic. This is actually such a good place to start. I'm glad we started here because like the self doubt and the, oh, this and the judgment and whatever else. So is this even going to work? Whatever it is that's like coming up, that space can be like in your head. And then what happens is when that noise is in your head, you really don't have room, you know, like in there to be able to expand and open up. I'd love to see if you want to speak a little bit about that too.
Yeah, I mean, ultimately when you are in your head means that you're disembodied, meaning you're disconnected from your body. So you're coming from a very heady space. And it's really difficult to connect with people when we're not present, when we're not right here. You know what it feels like when someone is present with you when they're in their body, when they're connected to their truth, when they're relaxed, when they have. We don't have a whole bunch of thoughts and fears and doubts swirling and hesitations. And obviously throughout our human experience, we are going to have those things come up, but we don't get stuck there. And I think that's what's really cool about find your voice is that you're kind of get. Putting them into this state of momentum where they can get out of their own way and get out of that resistance and exhaust the chatter and come back to their clarity and their truth and what they're here to represent. And that's the perfect starting point for being magnetic. Oh, Stacy. Frozen. Is. Am I frozen too? Or is it just Stacy? Can anybody chime in? And am I frozen to you guys? Or is it just. Oh, no. Can someone say in the comments if. Oh, just Stacy. Okay, so I'll keep going until she comes back, but let me hear in the comments. Are you here for business? Are you here for dating? Oh, there you are. Okay, you're back.
Okay, good. I don't know who left. I did. That's so funny. I saw you leaving.
I was asking your. I was just trying to get some information. Who's here for, you know, their own business and brand and who's here for dating or both. I just wanted to get a little engaged, but go ahead, proceed.
Okay. No, perfect. No, what I was gonna say was. Yeah, that. So that's the part with find your voice and what you've really helped me really identify, because find your voice kind of, like, solves so many things. And I think that's why when I was doing the. The live challenge last January, it was shocking when it was over because no one expected it to do all the things that it did. And when you were just talking about the head, you know, like, it's. It's that one piece of just, like, verbal processing, you know, and being able to get those thoughts out of your head. So then you're able to act from your heart. Right. And that's where. Then that's where the magnetic content comes from. Because now you're connected to your heart. And so you're going to be able to. You're going to be able to like, really kind of like, speak out of that place, too.
Yeah, it's like being authentic. It's like that's part of the thing that find your voice does is help you get clear. And even in our process, that's part of the painful part, is like grounding in that clarity even more. But once you're employed with that sense self knowledge, with that brand knowledge, with that inner clarity, it pierces through all the noise and connects to people. It's amazing what it does. I mean, even listen to when you speak about your offer, it's so clear, you know, and I. Clarity. We always talk about this. Clarity is worth its weight in gold. And not just in business, but everywhere. If you can clearly communicate, you can clearly connect.
Oh, I like that. That's good.
Is that you that was really good.
And so the then this side part and is where we're getting into why we're doing this bonus is. And I want to then go into like, what magnetic content specifically is and why it converts so well is because find your voice is kind of like just this verbal processing of things. So I give you these prompts, which, as you guys know, are dares, and basically it's like done for you. So you have the chance to just post it in the group. And that's what people did initially. But then as I did the podcast challenge, I did go live. Then those same people started doing it. So then all of a sudden, instead of it just being like this typed up post, it was then audio recordings and then videos, and now people are using it. Like, I just talked to Jean Green earlier, who's so incredible, and she's done this challenge twice now, and I was like, well, do you want to try it? Because you get lifetime access. I'm like, do you want to try it again? And you could test going live now, you know, so every time it's like you get to inch into different things. And so that was. The accidental part is now you're. Because you've been verbal processing on camera, you're now getting comfortable, and you're becoming like you when you're like on the video. Pretty much.
I love that you. You're being you. That's the most magnetic thing, is to be you. So we're like peeling back all of these layers in order to really allow ourselves to shine through.
Oh, yeah, I like that. Just spitting out nuggets. So now comes the magnetic content, right? Because now, let's say after it's over, you know, then you have this, like, clarity on who you are, what you want. You've gotten used to doing it on the camera if you're choosing to go that route. For those of you that aren't ready for that, you can of course do it with writing it or audio. But now you've kind of like, you've embodied who you are, even just on camera, and now comes this magnetic content. And so let's just talk about the person so far that maybe doesn't even have anything to sell. Let's speak to that person first and then we can talk about the people that do.
Well, first things first. You are. You're willing to be seen right after find your voice. You have. You've probably started to generate some form of clarity, some form of insight on your next step, and you're willing to be seen. Now let Me share this. When I built my brand, I did not know I was going to monetize. Just like Stacy built her brand and did not know she was going to monetize. But we were so passionate, so aligned, when we. For whatever reason, we have our different reasons, we just could not stop about our own journey that we were communicating that. And the interesting part is, is that it's actually the best time to have a personal brand. So people want to hear your thoughts. They want to hear your perspective. They want to. That epiphany that you. That conversation with your girlfriend, that seminar you went to, that nugget that transformed your life, that page you read in a book you don't want to underestimate. If it moved you, it might move other people, and people want to hear that. And so when you share what you're passionate about, you begin to create a personal brand that you. That they'll go with you wherever you go. I've pivoted in my business in so many different ways, but people are bought into me, which everyone told me to. Niche down, niche down. Niche down. Niche down, niche down. Knees down. Knees down. No, I have adhd. I won't. I can't reach down. I'm a Renaissance woman, darling. And because of that, I just. I am the vessel. I am the brand. And every. Every other project is birthed through me. And so if you don't know where to start, that's where you start. What's flowing through you, can you trust what's flowing through you? Can you share what's flowing through you? If it moves you, it'll move others.
I just. I like that. I feel that so much because, like, that was the same thing that happened to me, you know, when I did the dating dare challenge. That was my first one. And then I did the second one, and then I then decided to do the Start a podcast challenge, right. Which was going to be in a different group. And then I. When I was about to do that challenge, everyone told me, what are you doing? This dating thing is so successful. Why are you wanting to do that? You know, And I just was like, this is what I want to do. Like, I feel like this is going to help people on a whole, while I still do dating challenges, so don't worry. But I, like, I knew the podcast challenge was going to help people, but then, you guys, this is what the funniest thing was, because I wanted to still bring the dating people over. I realized the word podcast got in their way, you know, and so a lot of them weren't signing up because of the podcast Word, you know, and the podcast was just the vehicle. And that was when I took a trip with my daughter. We were in Europe up, and I'm like, how do I get more of them to sign up? And at this time, everything I was doing was free. So I just wanted people to sign up because I knew they would get the growth from it. And so that's when find your voice came. So then I postponed the podcast challenge. I did find your voice, and I'm glad I did because it helped me run the podcast challenge even better. But I. I agree. I think, like, by you being able to follow, like going back to what you said, like where we both did this, we went against what people said. Right. We followed our own inner wisdom. Like, that's what I think.
That's what.
Find your voice, magnetic content, whatever you want to do in life, that's what it really comes from.
Yes. I think that's why we align. Like me and Stacy, we were introduced through a mutual. And you know how the divine works, you know how source works, whatever you want to call it, the universe works. It paired us. We are very much in alignment. And I remember listening to Stacy and being like she calls it, her heart pings is what we called it following. Your heart pings whatever your heart is guiding you to do. But I. I follow my intuition, follow my body's wisdom. My body has a lot to do with my message, my content, my. My path unfolding. It's so easy to get caught up. I think that's what I also like about find your voice is that it's so easy to get caught up in this strategy and what this person's is saying. And there's all this noise. What is. What are you being guided to do? What's flowing through you? And can you honor that? You know, because that's what's carving out your path.
I love that. Okay, I want to take a look because on restream, I can't tell who's here. So I'm just going to look on Facebook to just to kind of get an idea of who you guys are. Oh, great. Vicki, Sarah. Oh, so good. It's gonna talk for a minute. There we go. Now it's better.
Oh, yes, there we go.
Oh, Michelle. Oh, amazing. Okay, good. Terry. Okay, great. So, yeah, a lot. Jana, can you hear us now? Okay, cool, Great. Oh, hey, Sherry. Okay, good. Yeah, so we have a good mixture. Majority of you guys have done find your voice, which is amazing. That's what I wanted to Kind of get an idea of. So. Because you guys are getting this ridiculous. Oh, Fern's here too. Okay. And she's done find your voice. So that's what I wanted to get an idea of. So for those of you that done find your voice. This is crazy, you guys, because Lorelei's bumping herself up. So basically everything that I got to learn with her, me and her are going to work together, and I'm going to, like, take the do the thing formula in the amazing work that she already does. And basically, we're going to create this, like, bonus for you, teaching you how to create your own piece of magnetic content.
We're going to take that voice and we're going to put it out in an even clearer and more refined way, you know?
Yeah, it's going to be amazing. And so what. So let's just speak again. Like, what would be. Why would magnetic content be good for people? Like, what's, like, the exciting part, you know, about it?
Being able to actually resonate, being able to articulate, be able to connect with people through your words, to not waste your breath, but to rather land and make an impact with just your voice. And so when it comes to creating magnetic content, it. It's, yes, your sales go up, but also, that's. That's amazing. We love that. We need that. And also, you create a movement because you're moving people with your words. And so there's no expectation. It's just a strategy, a skill for you to try on so that when you sit in front of a camera and you have something important to say, you'll go through a little mental checklist and you'll start to reorient your message, to always be clear. So even if you're on a podcast, I always tell people this. The power of conceptualizing your ideas is so valuable because once you've conceptualized it, you've conceptualized it forever. Sometimes you're like, oh, do I have to, like, do this for this piece of content? Yes. Because guess what? Once you have that clarity, and it doesn't matter if you're in a. In a networking room. It doesn't matter if you're on a YouTube video. It doesn't matter if we're on this live. I've already conceptualized so many ideas, and I almost call it like having a Mason jar. You take your concept, you put it in a mason jar, you screw them, and you put it on your lid, your. On your counter and on your shelves, and you have all these Mason jars of all these concepts. And ideas, you just go. And now you just have a stream of clarity available to you at any time. I mean, that skill, if everyone could clearly articulate and market themselves, we'd all be mega wealthy. So many people have all these gifts inside. But if no one's watching, if no one's. You're helping people build audiences, you're helping them find your voice. And I'm going to help you connect to those people in that audience and with your voice.
Okay, do you guys want to see one of the pieces.
Film Day with me? Second film day that we created together?
Let me know. No. So good, because, like, I think I want you to see, like, kind of what can come from it, right? Oh, they're saying yes.
Okay, good. So.
Because, like, here's the thing, you guys, it's just like anything you do, you're building the skill, right? And that's what's kind of exciting. It's kind of like the first time I did comedy, you know, it was scary, it was terrifying, and it was okay. And then it got better and better, right? And so I'm sure when you see these videos of mine, like, in six months from now, if I'm still doing that and I decided still alive, for me, it's going to be, you know, like a whole nother thing. And now, like, I'm so happy because I feel like you gave me this, like, really, like, it's hard to even put it to words. It's such a gift because, oh, what do I tell you guys? All the time. It's like the stuff in my head now and like in my recorder and like, I like to throw up stuff, right? And now it's like, got a place. And the most exciting thing was even, like, I think it was even before we did the film day, I did one of my own, you know, like, completely on my own. The script was mine, everything was mine. And, like, I'm like, I have the skill now. Like, I could literally do this, you know, and so that's what I want to, like, help you guys do is take this, like, thing that you're learning and find your voice where you're tapping into your inner wisdom. You're into have the really good vehicle for verbal processing, get you really comfortable on camera. For those of you that want to get comfortable doing lives, you'll get to do lives. And then, like, now you're going to build the skill of creating a magnetic content piece. And while we're doing one together on that bonus, you're going to have the skill for Life. And then you're going to get to constantly iterate, improve, and all of that stuff. So to me, that's, like, really exciting. So, yeah, okay, so this is like, just so you know, I'm stalling because I'm like, okay, just said it. But this is hard for me. I'm like, to even show something and be like. Because I. I'm like, the messy girl, you know? And now it's like, now I've got to make an excuse, excuse for something. Because now I'm like, saying it's good. You know what I mean? I'm just realizing this is like a whole nother. Like, it's like a challenge because I feel like. Because my whole brand is like, just do it messy, you know? But it's true because, like, you have to start messy. Everyone thinks that you have to start, like, all perfect. So here I am in my head, like, going, okay, I've got to make a judgment, like, in case someone doesn't like it. Here I am saying it's good. You know what I mean? Like, it's just funny, that voice. And actually, this is something, Laura, we have, I think, a few side videos of this where I am still struggling, like, being seen, you know, in, like, as I'm starting to expand, like, it's like a. A conditioning that I have. And this new part of me, this new life I'm living, it's really only been like a year, a year and a half. So as we were going together, you know, like, she was taking my picture and like, oh, my God, you guys. She wanted to do. What is it even B roll. B roll. And I, like, could not stop laughing, you know, And I realized, like, it's that being seen in another way. So anyway, I just want to point it out because I want you to know, like, you know, sometimes you just have to do things and, like, feel the discomfort. And then when it's done, you decide, okay, what did I think about that? You know, am I okay with. With that? And then you. And then you decide if you want to inch for forward further or you just want to stay there for now, you know?
Yeah, it's like I always say, like, intimacy and creativity are on two sides of the same coin.
Yeah.
So as you're increasing your ability to be seen, like, you're stretching because you're increasing your availability for more people as well. So this also will translate. That's the cool part. When I work with someone with creativity, it translate with intimacy, too. Because if you're willing to be seen on Camera. The more you're willing to be seen and to be. Be seen in all of your gifts and be seen in your vulnerability. Because our art is very vulnerable, it also translates in our personal relationships. It's really co.
Okay, cool. All right. Yeah. I'm like, on that note, we'll share it. Okay. I'm like, I don't know which. There's a. We have a bunch. We recorded a ton that day. And that's actually the other thing. The first time we were together, I think we only did two. And then this time, I don't know. We got 10.
Huh? We did 10 this time. We did two the first time. This was just. This is just our second time.
Yeah.
And she's already leveling up, so let's go ahead.
And you're like, I know. I keep stalling.
Do the damn thing.
Okay, here we go. Okay, let me see if I can even share my screen. Oh, I can't share my screen. No, I'm kidding.
Darn it. Technical issue.
Hilarious. Okay, here we go. Let's see if I can find it while we're here. Okay, there it is.
Yeah.
Okay, here's one. Okay, let's see. That's one. So this is what we will be able to, like, kind of work through this kind of script, basically. So Laura and I worked together. We came up with the script. As you guys know, I do not script anything out. So this is totally new for me. But this is the second level. It's, like, almost like you've graduated. Find your voice, and you could do something, like, in a minute. That literally clarifies what you're wanting to, like, speak about. Okay, here we go. You can see me?
Yeah.
Let me know if you can hear it too. I'm gonna play it right now. Everyone's talking about how to show. Can you hear it?
Yes.
Okay, good. Authentically. But no one's telling you how. Believe it or not, people can feel you through the. The screen. You're wondering why you're not making the sale or the connection. They can't feel you. You're doing what you think you're supposed to be doing. You're saying what you think they want to hear, and none of it's landing. You have to take off your mask and show your truth. But you don't know what your truth is, because you have to find your voice. This is a practice. Peeling back the layers and showing who you truly are is a practice. What is it worth for you to show up and be seen? Authenticity breaks through all of the noise. And creates a connection. It builds a bridge between you and your audience. It's a currency worth having. Okay, here we go.
All right. Wow. You know, I have to say that I'm really proud of you. And also that this. The way that I teach content is not just like, you can go online, pick a script out, and just do the content, but the way that I teach content is you're more grounded, you're more clear, you're more embodied, you're more sure. And Stacy's word, you're more convicted. So, yeah.
And it, like, it's. So think about that, you guys. So the first time we were together, I feel like we were together a while. And then the second time, I think we were together even less. Like, I felt like it was only three hours.
We were together three, seven hours the first day we ate. So let's say five and a half hours. Five and a half. Six hours, two videos this time, three hours, ten videos.
Yeah. And so I want to point that out because, like, you know, it could have been the first time, you know, I. That's where you guys saw the live I did, where I was, like, talking about the. I was recording videos in a new way, and it was because it was really hard, you know, when you first do something. But that's like that for anything. Like, it doesn't matter what you do. It is hard. Like, if you join find your voice and you're gonna go live for the first time, it's gonna be hard, right? And nice thing with find your voice is you could decide not to go live. You could decide just to type it, or you could decide to do audio. Right. So you don't have to go all the way there. But once you're like. Once you, like, inch, it's hard, but then it becomes easier. So I think the fact that we just did that many videos in such a short amount of time, like, this is lit. And then I did my own one. Like, it's just. It's. It's a skill now. And I love having these skills, you know, that I, like, use in my life. And then I love. Like, you guys know, I love teaching the skills. So, like, that's what my. I think that's my mission is creating safe space for people to connect and then be able to share the stuff that I'm learning, you know, to help you guys do whatever you want. And right now, the thing on my head is I want to help people make money, because that was the thing that I just keep hearing is, like, that people are tired and they're exhausted and the working their job or they've got the business and they don't have, like, all the connections. But I don't want to just say make money. I want to help do it from, like this, like, deep, embodied, aligned space. Exactly. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
When I first. Well, when I first. I remember when I first asked you. So I only do things that are authentic for other people. I don't just hand them over a script. It has to be your words. I'm just helping you conceptualize it. And so when I first helped Stacy conceptualize, I remember trying to grasp, and now I just. It's like less time, more clarity versus before, it was more like, you know, pieces of clarity with. I don't even know how to explain it. It's just, I feel like you're way more clear and lasered in on what you're doing, where you were always embodied. You were always walking the walk. You always had the examples. You had the community. And you always referred that she's so community oriented that she always referred. Referred back to the community. You guys mean a lot to her. Like, seriously, you guys mean so much to her. She always has. She knows your names, she knows your story, and she always pulls from that. And now, in addition to having supportive examples from the community, she can stay with laser focus. This is what we help with. This is what we're doing. This is why it's important. Oh, you have that struggle. This is. This is what's for you. Oh, you have that objection. This is for you. So she's able to connect in an even more impactful way than the first time that I met her.
That's so nice. Thank you. Putting that one up, too. Thank you. Oh, this is great. I'm so glad. Okay, I got to see who said this, but I feel like this. Okay. This is so amazing. Okay. I feel like we use fill. Your filler words when we talk about what we do. So I want to tell you guys something. When. I don't know if I ever told you this, Lorelei, but there was a point, I think I had just started my podcast and. And here I go with my filler word. And I was like, I think I started doing. I don't know, I don't remember where the TEDx talk happened, like, where I wanted to do that, but there was a point when I was, like, starting to do stand up comedy. And then I think I started to. And then I joined Toastmasters. Then I was thinking of the TEDx talk, and I was like, well, I've gotta wait to apply until my ums are better, because my ums are. I have some big ums, you know, and it is something I'm working on. But anyway, so then I was like, this is the way I do. The thing is, I, like, wanted to find evidence of someone that did a TEDx talk that used a lot of UMS, right? And so I found somebody, and she. I had my daughter count them, and I can't remember the exact amount, but it was like 50 ums in this talk. And the talk had, like, 30 million views, right? And that's when I all of a sudden was like, okay, so I don't have to wait. And for those of you that are like, really the do the Thing champions, it's like, don't wait for opportunity. Create it right where you guys know that probably by heart. But, like, yeah, like, I don't have to wait. I could do it now, right? And so I think that's such an important thing to realize. And I applied to that TEDx talk last year, and I've applied to a bunch of different ones, and I didn't get into that one last year. I did get into one in Zimbabwe, but it was just, like, not the right time. And then the fact that I got into at least audition this time was, like, so huge for me, because, like, I don't think if I hadn't applied that last year, you know, like, if I would have waited until my ums were better. That's my point. If I waited till my ums were better, I don't know if it would have gone the same way this time, you know, or if I would have been that confident, kind of knowing what the process looked like. So I just want to encourage you guys to just embrace whatever those things are and still take action. Don't wait. Because, like, there's so many people that are doing the thing that, like, have that stuff, you know, and it's fine. It's just the matter. The more you do it, the better you get. Or if you don't get better, then you just keep doing it, you know? And luckily, you guys don't care about my ums. I've listened to, like, a lot of my lives, and I'm like, oh, my gosh, that is a lot of stuff. But, you know, you guys are cool with it. So, I mean, if I would have waited till my ums were better, just think about, you know, a lot of you wouldn't have podcasts. A lot of you wouldn't have met your partners. A lot.
You know what I mean?
It's like, think about all of. I wouldn't have posted your two hour cocktail parties, you know, if I waited for my ums to get better. So I just want to point that out. It's like, whatever that is for you, it may not be ums, it could be something else, but just don't wait, you know?
Yeah.
Yeah. So. Okay. So. Yes, go ahead.
I want to ask him a question while you're talking. Do it in the, in the chat, if you can tell me your content resistance of your content insecurity. I just want to see.
I love that question. Yes, yes. And so this is even like when you post, when you comment, say if you have, if you have something you're like, if you have a business you're selling or if like Lorelei said, when me and her started, we, we were just doing it because it like came from inside of you. So some of you, you know, some of you have something you're. You're shooting for and some of you don't know yet. I think that's what I'd love to know that also.
Yeah.
Oh, great. I think that's probably Sarah, so that's good. Let me just.
I have to say that when I when that. So there's a couple things that help me with ums and likes, which is just like a break in our psyche. And that is, number one, I do have a practice where I ground myself. And number two, preparation. This is the part that we avoid, this is the part that doesn't feel as fun, is to be prepared. And so when I take the time to prepare my piece of content to prepare my master class, and I do that for my clients as well, it minimizes, not that you have to be this way, but just for the people that are that want to get to that next level. Mastery. It is an internal practice. Again, your embodiment of being more grounded, being able to breathe, be more present, be in touch with your body and be prepared. And that's part of why I love doing content. It's way beyond Instagram. Instagram can shut down today and Facebook has shut down today, and this is still a relevant skill.
Yeah, it's so good. And yeah, just so you guys know, so now that I'm doing this, my strategy, because for a bit I think that was what it is. I felt. It just felt weird because I've never been scripted. Right. And I think my whole claim to fame with all the stuff that I do is to be kind of like from your heart. Right. And so now what I've decided is I'm just gonna do it all. Like. So, yeah, like, if I want to show up in a shower cap one day, or I want to be in my car and do something, or I want to be outside, or if I want to script something, like. And that's the other thing is if I have an idea that I want to talk about, I'm not going to wait until I look a certain way. I'm just going to, like, come on and do the idea, and then there's going to be other times that I want to actually, like, prepare. So that's the nice thing. When you add these, like, tools to your tool belt, you're just, like elevating yourself on all of these levels. So I think we got some things. Okay.
All right.
Okay, let's see this one. So we have. I feel pretty comfortable going live yet. I know I would love to be more authentic and clear in my message. Thank you, Vicki. So good. Yeah.
So I like to ask, what were those? I wish I could pull it up, but there's three questions that I ask. Let me see if I can pull it up really quick.
Well, what do they want to hear? Like, the what.
Why am I sharing this? Like, why is this important? What's in it for them? Like, that's the first thing I ask myself. Why am I sharing this? And what's the gold nugget that I want them to walk away with? Because if you can ask yourself, it gives it more of an intention. It gives it more because we can go all over the place because everything's connected in our world. And so when we say, why am I sharing this and what's the gold nugget that I want them to walk away with, it gives us a frame for what we want to share, even if we are on live. Like, I like to take one thing and go deep instead of just doing a whole bunch of ideas which is going across. That's what I call that. When you go this point, this point, this point, this point. Instead, I take something really juicy and I drop down into it and I make it. I give it examples, I give it analogies. I. I really drive it home. And so when you're thinking about your content, you ask yourself, what's an epiphany I had? What. What was that, that thing that made me stop in my tracks with my client that sparked something? What was important about that? It's just. It's self inquiry that you're asking. What was important about that? Why did that move me because it made me aware of what? Oh, it made me aware of this. Oh, okay. And why is that important to other people? Because if they're struggling with this, then that would help them. Oh, okay. And now you have a frame for what you want to share. So the epiphany, something that irritated you, something that annoyed you. Why did that annoy me? It doesn't matter how you're moved, Whether it's sadness, irritation, joy, however, you're being moved. Oh, that made me feel something. Why? And when you get curious about that, it allows you to really show up. And that's my favorite way of put holding myself apart. I mean, not holding myself apart, setting myself apart from other people is in my slight irritations. Why does this irritate me about my. About my industry? Oh, that's my opportunity to step into something. I don't have to put them down. I can step into. This is what I stand for, and that's what people are really looking for. Who are you? What do you have to share? Like, what do you stand for? Why should I listen? Sorry, that was. Yeah.
Oh, that was amazing. Yeah. And I love. Jana just said organizing my thoughts will help me tremendously. You're. I'm so glad that you're in find your voice, because that's, like, literally the strategy that I teach through that. And that's, like, what Lorelai was just saying. What's kind of cool is I can't wait to dive into the do the thing formula with your already existing magnetic content strategy, because I think we'll be able to really, like, tap in to, like, use. Find your voice to be this, like, super amazing bridge, you know? So when we do the bonus, it's going to be really good, but, like, because that's part of what I teach you guys in there. In the videos, I even show my process of, like, taking my phone out. I've got the voice recorder, and I'm like, okay, what am I trying to say? Like, why is this literally, like, that's some of my videos, which you'll get to see. Lorelei is going to do find your voice, so. Just because she wants to be a part of the. The process. And so, yeah, it's. It's. It's a great way for you to, like, tap in. And then I think with your. With your system, like, it's gonna be this, like, double. I want to say a weapon, but that's not good, but a double whammy of just, like, you know, of just, like, craziness, you know? Coolness. Yeah, basically.
I like to show people my behind the scenes, too, because that's. I. I think that was the one class you missed. That's only one class that Stacey missed. And that day, you had something to do. You're out of town. But in that class, I showed people. I was like, look at me. This is me when I'm doing. And I'm like, what am I trying to say again? What am I trying to say? Why is this important, though? I always say, turn your inner critic into a curious interviewer. From. From critic to curiosity, to put it simply. And what that means is that voice that goes, oh, does anyone even care about this? Why should people care about this? Oh, why? Why? This is so unclear. How can I make this more clear? It's actually guiding you. It's there to be of support. And you will hear people do this in podcasts and YouTube videos. Like, so let me break this down. So let me clarify. So let me slow this down. Let me rewind. They're directing themselves because they're in tune with the flow of what they're saying. So every time that inner critic comes up, what's the voice of the curious interviewer instead?
I love that. That is so good. Okay, let's look at another one. We have resistance. Says, I'm terrible with a camera. So harder for me to record stuff and end up being. Oh, oh, interesting. That makes sense. Like, the whole, like, actual, like, how to record. We might want to add that, too, in terms of, like, how to adjust your phone, you know, also. Yeah, yeah, that's a really good point. Yeah. I learned the other day, actually, Emily taught me this that you record. So if you're recording yourself, you, like, record this way instead of the actual, like, selfie way. Because it's, like, better. Yeah, yeah. But what you taught me is you want. You're okay. The little secret trick.
All of it.
It's like that. You could probably say it better than me, but it's like, sometimes you don't even want to be in, like, the whole frame, depending on what you're doing.
Oh, yeah. Oh. So one of the things that we did with Stacy is that our hook strategy doesn't always have to be five ways to. Sometimes our hook is jumbling up the camera. So I had her start the camera over here and be like, guys. And I'm like, just do that. Because it just feels really authentic. It's like, guys. You know, it's just a way of. Because listen, you are still authentic, and you are also acutely aware that people have about 3 seconds. 3 seconds to get their attention, because we are. We are on an app that is built for distraction. You have three seconds. So she goes. You know, she goes, hey, guys. Hey, guys. But what it looks like is, like, you're like, oh, okay. Hello. Like, you know, so there's all these.
I think, to, like, tap into. I mean, while. Yes, getting sales from these videos has been amazing. Like, because even I woke up today with two more, and I'm like, oh, my God, what's happening? I know. So, like, that has been amazing, but, like. But what's also cool is that now, like, to me, find your voice, you guys, is the key to freedom. Like, it literally is. Like, that's how obsessed I am with it. And I want you guys to be as obsessed with something that you're doing as I am about this challenge, because you have to remember, I did this for a year and a half and did not ever expect to make money doing this. You know, I was just doing it because it was this, like, personal fulfillment project. And so what? After doing all those challenges, putting the do the thing formula into it, the find your voice challenge was like, the thing. It was like, the beginning of everything, you know? And that's what I realized, because I was. When I started to do the thing, I was only. It was only do the thing. You know, do it, you know? But then as I'm getting into the interviews, I realized, like, wait, I haven't really been doing the thing that I wanted. You know, I've been doing the thing that everyone else wanted. So that's when I started bringing our mutual friend Dr. Nancy on. And you guys know her. For those of you that have been in the community a while, I brought on another coach and then a few other people. And then I started exploring this idea of, like, doing it from, like, what lights you up, right? And that's what we're talking about. And that's when you're really getting embodied into your message, because. And that's when people start to, like, kind of, like, flood you, right? Because you're. What is that? The magnetic. The magnetic attraction is starting to happen. Look at me.
One of the girls in the magnetic content cohort was like, I'm. I'm a. She was at capacity with her clients, and she's like, I don't even want to post, because I know that I'm going to get a client when I post. And I'm like, well, can I screenshot that? That's amazing. I love that. But she was like, she was in real resistance to posting because she was like, I don't want any more care. I was like, just put them on a wait list. Relax. Because that's what happens when you're clear. If you can make, if you can make the case, you can make the sale, period.
So good. I love that. Okay, let's look at another one. This is so fun. Okay, we have. And feel free to keep commenting, you guys, just because this is helping us too. Because it's going to help us. That's why we thought we would do this. Basically what happened was we did that live on Instagram and then we got like so much, you know, I got so much positive feedback from it. So then I was like, okay, let's actually talk to everyone. So that way I knew a lot of people that were already going to be doing find your voice would be here. And then we figured anyone else that hadn't. We wanted you also to know that there's a new bonus that we've added to it. And. And then I was like, well, this will be a great time for us to really even plan, you know, on how to help you like actually leave with, with the piece of content scripted. Right. So now we know what's getting in your way by you guys commenting. It's going to help us as we, Lorelei and I plan what the zoom is gonna workshop, math class, whatever it's called is gonna look like. So. Yeah, isn't that exciting? Yeah. So content. I've been working on creating a non profit that teaches life skills to people because not everyone has equal amounts from parents. I. I love that you said this. So I just had this conversation with Adam. A lot of you guys know Adam. He's the founder of the podcast platform that all of our podcasts got started on. And my podcast is still hosted on that platform. And he was talking to me about this new program and I think you guys know he's been working with like Boys and girls clubs and he wants to help the Boys and girls clubs actually have a podcasting program. And so he's already like having success with it. And then he was talking about how he wants to also help educators, you know, with it and actually like put it into school systems. And I was just thinking like this idea of podcasting in a school system, even just from us. Let's just, let's just look at one segment of this, like just from. I'm just thinking of like the special needs segment, like with high functioning autism, dyslexia, adhd and like Adam got into podcasting because of his dyslexia. That's why. Because it was hard for him to read. And. And then he actually started listening and that's how he learned. I'm like, even just from that perspective alone, that's such a huge value to the school system. So we were talking about, wow, what does that look like for you? You're gonna have to go on the news, you're gonna have to meet with like all these like, people in like, education and, you know, like really kind of like put yourself out there. And then I mentioned find your voice to him and like, I sent it to him and he signed up like literally that day. And so he's gonna come in. I think it's on. I think it's Tuesday or Wednesday at noon. I'll let you guys know later. But he's coming into the community live because he wants to talk about just even podcasting with education. But we're also going to talk about why he feels it's important because even so, like, the reason I bring this up is literally this. He's done 500 podcast episodes and he's of his own podcast, and then he's been on all these other podcasts, but he's still thinking that find your voice is good for him because if he's going to be on the news, he's going to be doing all these other things. And so anyway, with this idea of the nonprofit and being able to teach life skills to people, because not everyone has equal amounts of knowledge from. From that. I'm just imagining, like you have knowledge that when you find your voice, right, you're going to be able to speak to it in a way that no one has ever seen before or that maybe lands with a whole different bunch of people. And so anyway, my point is, it's like whatever that message is that's in your heart, whether it's your business that you want to build or you want to help people that have gone through divorce, or help a non profit or create a new podcasting platform for education. It's like this idea of being able to communicate clearly with your message is just powerful.
Definitely.
Yeah. So it's exciting. Oh, I love to use powerful questions. That's good. I love powerful questions. My favorite one was during the bucket list challenge. I was liking to go up to people and asking what was on their. Their bucket list too. So very cool. Oh, good. You come at it from social work. I love that. Well, if you guys have anything else you want to hear, feel free to put it in the comments I feel like I'm getting, oh, I struggle with examples. I'd love to hear what you mean by that. Do you know what that means? I struggle with examples.
I think it was, oh, giving supportive examples. So part of speaking from your embodiment is one of the things that. So I. My first goal in life when I was younger was to be an actress. I went to acting school. I was in plays. I was a drama nerd. Like, that was me. And what I love about it is that when you. When it comes to acting, you really have to drop into the experience. If you guys remember the Joker, I forgot his name. He died. But he was so good at playing the joker that he actually had induced psychosis. And he ended up having a lot of mental problems because he dropped into the role so much that he developed a mental disorder. That is the power of embodiment. Right? He's. He embodied the character. Part of the way that we embody in our messaging is we drop into either our former experience. Heath Ledger. There you go. Thank you. So you either drop into your own experience, or you drop into the experience of your client. So, like, let's say you have a topic about finding your voice, and I. The first place, where can we have to meet them, where they're at and grab their hand and walk them over into this new embodiment with us? So when we meet them where they're at, how do we drop into their experience? So that's where we. We source, or if you don't have them, if that's difficult, where was I at when I first started? And that's where we generate these ideas of examples, stories, analogies that we can use to bring forth. It's like, have you ever been doing that? You're like, oh, my God, yes, that's me. I do that. And now you have them hooked. They're like, that's me. And they're like, well, me too. You know? And you walk them over to the other side. So if you're looking for examples, think about it. Think about a friend. Think about your own experience. Think about. Go into your body. I don't know. Not everybody sees pictures when they go into their body. But just go into your body and see if you can sift and sort through your former examples of your own experience. Or if you can imagine. We can all imagine what it would feel like. Even if you're a man on this call, let's say I said you're pregnant, you're alone in a cold apartment with no electricity on what do you imagine that woman is feeling if we took a second, we could drop in and really be like, well, she's probably feeling this, this, this, this. That same skill is what we're looking for when we're dropping into the experience of the people we're marketing to, the people we're connecting with, and even our former self.
Yeah, it's so good. And I think that's where, like, even the community members come up, because that helps helps me tap into just things that I've heard. And then by you guys being a part of this, and for those of you that have been with me from the beginning, like, you really have helped pave the way for me to know what really helps people, you know, and be able to impact them. And I think the same for you, right? Like, whatever you're wanting to do and whether you're going to do what Lorelai did. And I, at first, you know, if you don't have a business right now. And I say that because I. I just want to encourage you to, like, still come up to this stuff because you don't know what's going to happen. You know, like, where we came up and we just built this thing that we didn't even think was going to turn was just pretty much just for personal fulfillment. Right. And then there's some of you guys I saw. Sherry was here and Vicki and Sarah's here, and a few others that, like, have programs, coaching and all that. You know what you're doing already. And so that's. That's great to have that clarity, because then you're able to drop into that experience. Experience, too.
Yes, definitely. This person said looking for their pain points to this really quick. Yeah, really quickly. Something that I love to do is I like to also speak to that brave part of them that wants to be called forward into a vision, because if you speak to the pain points too much, you might be speaking to the person who doesn't want to change, who's stuck in their pain, who doesn't want to pay, who doesn't want to invest, who's not ready, and even that same person. We want to speak to their pain, but we also want to speak to that small part of them that is ready. So it's like we do this. So it's like you're struggling with your voice, right? You might be struggling to. You're hiding, you're afraid to be seen, but you know that something was put on your heart and you are not able to get away from it. No matter where you go, no Matter how much you try to hide, this calling that you have on your heart does not go away. You know you are meant for more, but you're getting in your own way. See, we can, we can pull them into a vision 70% of the time. Talk to their pain points about 30% of the time. It doesn't have to be that. You can just feel it out. You don't have to be that strategic about it. But I really like to practice pulling people in, relating to their pain and their challenges, but also pulling them into a higher vision, inspiring that part of themselves.
Good. We're good. Yeah. Can you hear me? Is it me? Okay, good. That's so weird. Yeah, I love that. I heard most of it.
This person said, I think pain points are the obstacles and challenges in the way. Yes. And a way to achieving their dream. Their vision is a step to be overcome.
Yeah. And then I think focusing on the good, the big picture. What you want? Oh, my gosh. You guys are awesome. Thanks for being here with us. I just love that, like, we just decided to do this yesterday. Yesterday. And so many of you are here and just like, so engaged. And I just like adore you all. It's amazing. And thank you, Lorelei, for doing this. I really appreciate it. You want to share anything else about find your voice for those that are coming on for this next cohort and then also the people that still we want to have join us.
Yeah, I. I really feel that if you just like me and Stacy, followed our heart pings, followed our intuition, if you have any kind of body, tingling body sensation that's calling you towards find your voice, you don't even need to know why. You don't even need to answer the call. Get the momentum going. There's something in you that wants to be activated by your voice and it's only getting juicier by the day. So, yeah, meet me inside. I'll be there. I can't wait to like have one on one time with you guys in the, in the group or, you know, for the bonus. I can't wait to actually meet you and talk to you and learn your stories and learn more about you inside. And it's really powerful. And I think it's. I can feel the activation of the group. I feel like it's taking on a life form that is evolving every single time.
It's amazing. And I'm already like, I'm just loving it because I'm already seeing the changes in there from people and it hasn't even started yet. So it's just. It's just great. Well, so thank you so much. And for those of you that missed it, this is the bonus that's coming with find your voice for this cohort. I don't know if we're going to do it for others, but it's definitely for this one because it's just feeling super alive for us, which is Lorelei coming in. And when find your voice is over, it's going to be like the graduation to now create your own piece of content that's magnetic. So. All right. Thank you. Thanks again. And do the thing. Don't wait for opportunity. Create it.
Oh, Stacy, sorry, I didn't mean to do that. Someone said, I think you need to mention that there's a limited number of people who can join and a limited amount of time for people who can apply to get the bonus of working with Laura. Urgency. Hurry up.
Yeah, it starts.
I mean, it starts soon.
So sign up.
What did you say the other day? Either one day or day one.
Yeah, I mean, it's like. And the price is ridiculous. You know, last time it was double this price. I just lowered it because I feel just really more called to making sure everyone does it and the bonuses are ridiculous. So. Yeah, I just feel like if you guys are wanting to join us, you're going to have amazing transformations. Thank you. Okay, bye, guys. Oh, I'll do it again. Do the thing. Don't wait for opportunity. Great.
