So I'm Katherine Severns Avery. I'm the founder and executive director of Restoration Ranch Colorado. And we are thrilled beyond words to be the next nonprofit featured in Stacy's Billion Dollar Impact Marketplace live auction, which is an incredible fundraising opportunity for nonprofits and for entrepreneurs as well, to be able to get the word out about what they're doing. The entrepreneurs endorse their products and services are a great way to be test marketed or to just have people that you wouldn't otherwise get access to find out about them. So, Stacy, can you please tell those of us who are not familiar with you and all the things that you do what the Billion Dollar Impact Marketplace is, why they should plan to come to this live streamed auction and what they can expect once they're there.
Oh, yeah. Thank you so much. And I'm so excited to be doing this with you because I've seen the work that Restoration Ranch Colorado is doing and it like really blows my mind with the amount of impact and the ripple effect that you're having on the world. So, number one, I just wanted to say thank you and I'm so excited that you're going to be a part of the next one. And we're going to be able to give half the money that's being raised that day to Restoration Ranch Colorado. And so the Billion Dollar Impact Marketplace is a live, either virtual or in person charity auction where we are basically having entrepreneurs, business owners, people that have products and offers, auctioning them off. And so the last one, we had anything from people offering challenge, like, like experiences that help people overcome burnout or become better at networking, people that had co authored books available even with Lisa Nichols, who is amazing and had an opportunity to be a part of that. People that offered personal and professional growth programs to corporations. And I think the thing that I'm excited about with this is when I used to own a staffing company, I owned that business for 20 years. And we were one of the leaders in the staffing space. And one of the things I was always looking for was how do I actually help my employees and my teams grow and also me individually as a leader. And I would constantly be investing in things and in programs and also even in events to help them connect together more deeply and closely. And that's what's so beautiful about the Billion Dollar Impact Marketplace is we're putting both the entrepreneurs and these organizations that have these amazing programs, these amazing offerings, and we're mashing it together with the organization that we're raising money for. And people will be able to invest in these programs and these offerings. And then every time they invest, half the money goes to the actual organization that we're supporting. And so that's what. That's what it is. And we're basically either. For the one that we're doing with you, it's going to be virtual, which is really exciting. And so we're going to be on this virtual zoom where we're all gathered in a group. And then I'm a professional charity auctioneer. And so I'm basically going to be taking a spinning wheel. And then. And that's how the different opportunities are getting, you know, presented. And then from there I'm auctioning it off. And people will have an opportunity to buy them. A lot of times it's at a reduced rate, which is great because it gives an opportunity for someone to great, get a great offering that might not have had access to it before, or it could be something special and really unique that maybe they don't offer to the general public, but they are because it's being a part of being able to fund a nonprofit, which is amazing.
This is so exciting. So how do people get involved? How do they attend this and who should attend this? And I don't know if you can hear in the background, but my dog is so excited. She's just going berserk.
Yeah. So the best way is to, yeah. RSVP to the event. So click the link below and just register and come. It's free to attend. And when you come, just have an open mind and think about, like, who do I want to buy something for? For gift? Is it for me? Is it for someone that has a company? Is it for my own company? Am I wanting to improve the leaders in my team and be able to do that? And so there's so many things that will be. You'll be having an opportunity to participate in. And so that would be like, who I would think would attend is anyone that really likes personal and professional growth, either for them or for the people around them or even experiences. The last time somebody auctioned off this really cool trip to Peru, you know, and it was like, okay, we're, you know, it's like we're kind of where there's so many different opportunities that are getting offered. And that's why I love it being called a billion dollar impact marketplace, because it is a marketplace of just a bunch of different offers that you're able to buy and invest in. And then when do half of the money is going to Restoration Ranch Colorado. So it's an amazing way to have a fundraiser. And when you think about a typical gala or a typical event, you know, when people are raising money for stuff, a lot of times it's coming out of their personal budget, you know, but with this, whether it's for your company or for yourself, it's really coming from your business expense. Because we need to grow personally, you know, and we need to be able to grow our team and our company in our organization. And so there's just. It's a different bucket that it comes from. And while there will be opportunities to invest in things personally. So if you don't have a business, I still recommend you come. But it's just a wonderful time to really kind of get exposed to a lot of different things at once. And then anything that gets any, any, any of those offerings that actually gets bought that day, half the money goes.
To Restoration Ranch Colorado, which is so outstanding. I mean, I think this is a brand new, revolutionary funding model for the nonprofit world. And you're the only person I know that's doing it. I am thrilled to be a part of the prototype, the launch of it, just to see how this goes and where it goes and to know that so many first responders will be able to come and speak, spend time at the ranch. 40 acres that they have entirely to themselves. We have two live in ranch managers, but who gets 40 acres all to themselves ever? And so it's just a great opportunity to say thank you to the brave men and women who are always there for us in life's unimaginable circumstances. And kudos to you, Stacy, for being such a visionary and pioneer to. To be able to launch this so brilliantly, so effectively. I can't wait to see where this is going to end up. And we're so happy to be a part of it.
Yeah, I think that's the other thing I'm really excited about. It's like, regardless of whether or not when you come, if you buy anything or not, or you decide to be a part of that, you're getting the awareness of what Restoration Ranch Colorado is doing for society and for our communities as a whole. And so I just think this is a really beautiful way for us to like, give the stage. Stage to an organization that's helping so many people that people might not have known about. And so I'm really grateful for you for. Yeah. Being a part of this. And I can't wait to have more people know about the great work that you guys are doing.
