Test Restream

Are in the middle of challenge and in the do the Thing community. And it has been amazing. We are already at day four and we had a guest come on and had talked about Restream. And so I am just testing Restream right now. It should be streaming on my Facebook community in the do the Thing community, and then also on YouTube right now. And. Oh, my gosh. Okay, Randy, I see you. So does that mean you're live with me? I'm so excited. Oh, I can't hear you. And so I'm testing it. I text. I tested my. I texted my cousin Randy and asked her if she wanted to join me on it, not knowing. Having any idea what we were doing. But basically we are live right now, Randy, on YouTube and on. Oh, my gosh, only I can see you. Oh, this is so exciting. Okay, cool. So she just messaged me in our private chat. Okay, cool. So, yeah, so this is what doing the thing looks like. You guys. Doing the thing is doing it messy. It's not knowing exactly what you're doing. It's just literally plugging in a few buttons and then moving. And then here's the funny thing. So I was able to connect it to YouTube and my do the Thing challenge community, but I wanted to also connect it to Instagram and there was like this complication. Actually, I wonder if I could share my screen because I want to show you guys kind of what. Kind of what happens. See if I can share my screen. Oh, no, that's disabled. Oh, good. Okay. Yeah, I'm gonna just show you really quick starts. Hopefully I can unshare it too. But yeah, so I was like, messing around with. Here we go. I was messing around with it on Instagram. And then. Okay. Oh, good. Oh, this is great. Yeah. And then all of a sudden, like, I don't have this button that you're supposed to have that I don't know if I've stopped sharing. I don't. Yeah. Okay, good. I'm good. I don't know. I don't have the button that you're supposed to have for live streaming on Instagram, so I'm going to figure that out. So what I could have done is I could have stopped, right? And I could have said, oh, I can't figure it out, blah, blah, blah, I'm not going to do it. And then I could have waited until I was able to stream on all the channels that I had in my head. But that's not doing the thing, you guys. Doing the thing is doing what. What you can when you can. And so that's what I want to make sure that you're seeing right now. And so. Okay, I'm going to try adding Randy. How do I do that? This is so exciting. We are literally, like, this is like, the most fun thing for me. I don't know why. Like, this is, like, the kind of thing that I love more than anything, is just, like, figuring stuff out. So. So I am. What I'm trying. Oh, oh, oh, oh. I think I could do it. No, it says you can invite up to 10 guests. I'm gonna. I'm gonna just text you this just to see if it's a different link than the one I just gave you and to see if you come on with me this way. Okay. I just texted you, and I have no idea if we're, like, live in the community. I wonder if we can see. I'm gonna look in there because I think the comments. Oh, my God. I see us. We're on here. We're in the community, Randy. That's so exciting. Hopefully someone will comment and then we'll get to see, like, what happens in here too. So. Okay. Oh, my gosh. This is like, literally the most fun thing. And so I think we're on YouTube also. But anyway, were you able to do anything with that? I see you. I totally see you. I just can't hear you. Oh, wait, I wonder if I push on your button, what will happen? So right now, what I'm trying to do, you guys, is because we have a lot of things coming up in the next week because we still have a week left of the Go Live challenge. And so the whole idea of this challenge is to go live and just to play around with different things and I wonder. To play around with different things and, like, figure stuff out. And so that's what we're doing. And then on Monday, we all go live together. And something I haven't figured out yet. It's not consistent. Sometimes I could pre schedule a zoom event where it's connected to Facebook, and other times it doesn't work. And so I want to be able to give everyone a link that they could go on all at the same time, and then we have it, like, ahead of time. So anyway, let me see if I can. And so one of the things I want to do is see if I could figure out how to add a guest on. And luckily, Randy is here, so we are able to see. Okay, cool. Oh, that's so funny. So you can. I can see. So I think that's probably Vicky. Why can't the. I'd love to know. I am in the. Oh, the dealership. Okay, no problem. Oh, I can see the comments, though. That's great. I just can't see who it's from. I wonder if there's a way that I'd be able to see, like, who it was actually from, you know? But it looks like we can see the people that are commenting also. That's kind of cool. Okay, now I got to turn off the music. At least we know how to use background music. That's actually exciting. Okay, we are gonna check out one more thing to see if I can add you. If not, I think what we'll do is we'll ask the community to see who has added someone on here. I'm actually. Oh, there's. That's an actual messaging platform. And so that's something, too, I want you guys to notice is doing the thing. Oh, look at that. I was able to add it in the comments. Do you see that? That's so neat. I don't know how I just did that. Do you see what I just did? Because there's a chat and what did I do? Oh, I showed it. I was able to show it. Oh, there we go. See, look, watch. I just did it again. It's fabulous. That's from Vicki. So anyway, so I'm just trying to. So what I'm also showing you. So Vicki uses Restream, so I'm going to be talking to her later to see if she's been able to figure out how to invite someone onto the. Onto the Restream. And that's another piece of the do the thing formula. Right? It's being open to educating, but I'm not waiting to start. And so I want you guys to look at this as, like, a moment of how to do the thing. It's not just you figuring out all these steps. Like, oh, I need to figure out Instagram. Oh, I need to figure out how to add a guest. Oh, I need to figure out how to do the comments. Oh, I need to figure out 100 other things. And this is for. Insert the thing for anything. Insert the thing for lives. Insert the thing for weight loss. Insert the things for dating, whatever it is. Just know that you could figure things out as you go and be open to whatever happens. So, anyway, well, I'm gonna. I'm gonna say goodbye now, and then we're gonna look and see if there's a way to. To. To, like, figure this out even more. Because I'm, like, really excited about this. And then we'll figure out the Instagram thing and we'll figure out how to connect it to all these things.
