The Prize: Inside Stacey Lauren’s Billion-Dollar Impact Marketplace & Community Wealth Experiment

Okay. So we just talked about. I'm about to give you guys a prize. Who's excited for a prize? Prize, Prize, prize. So I just got off this amazing call with Jennifer Hill's tribe, which is a group of conscious entrepreneurs. And we just did a little sampling of the billion Dollar Impact Marketplace live auction, which is basically. Thank you, Mayor. Is a community wealth experiment. So that's what came from after. We'll talk more about that in a minute. But it's basically a community wealth experiment because when you could people to like, be courageous, be open, be vulnerable and being able to like, right. Share their gifts with each other and then we get to then put it into an auction where we then get to either buy each other's stuff or we get to like, give gifts. Right. For people. And. And so that's kind of like what happened with Mayor at the last auction where I was like, oh, my gosh, finally, Mayor, you have a price that I can buy something at. And I'm like, who can I buy Mayor for? And so the same thing just happened with Jennifer Hill. I just talked about her story where she's just this like, amazing human that literally, you know, her book is going to be called Recovering Asshole, which I was a recovering asshole, which is like the best thing ever. And then she's also a person that is just loving light energy, walking and is a super connector. And so basically I bought sessions with her to give as a gift. I actually bought three and I'm about to give it to you guys right now. We're going to pick the spinning wheel, where basically whoever wins is going to get an hour session with Jennifer Hill and you'll get to work on whatever you want to work on. And then her energy kind of like gets fired up and she intuitively kind of knows what to do from there. And so it's a really beautiful experience. But before we do the spinning wheel, I'd love to just hear, how does it feel right now? Karen.

So it's really fun and freeing.

Like, you can just see how excited you are. And so it kind of doesn't even matter what's going on with any of the rest of us. You're just like, your energy is just like, let's go, let's go. And so everybody else is like, cool. I don't know where we're going, but.

So for me, it's. It's. It activates what else is possible? What else is possible? What else else is possible? Oh, I wonder. And I was just on a call right before this one where it was telling them part of my energetic signature is whimsy. And so what I get activated from in playing in your groups is that my imagination gets activate. My inner child imagination gets activated. And it's a safe place to wonder and experiment and go beyond the boundaries.

I love that. And so I would love to also, before we do the spinning wheel, we'll tap into this too. Is like, getting to hear me talk about Jennifer Hill. And for Julie that joined late, feel free to anyone, just kind of give a simplified version of, like, what I said. I'd love to hear, like, what it would feel like to win. So something like that and get to meet someone and get to spend an hour with someone that's doing, like, the things that she's doing from, like, a. I mean, I want to say it's from a humanitarian level of, like, really being able to connect with someone's soul. Like, literally. We did a zoom, you guys. It was a magical connection zoom where she has everyone's birthday memorized in her head. I don't even know how you know? And, like, no. So when she's connecting people, she's not only doing it from, like, who they are, but, like, from their birthday. Like, and she's able. So it's, like, really, really special, you know, so she's, like, really conn to, like, the deepest parts of who people are, you know, and it's. It's really magical. So, yeah. What would it feel like? And feel free to anyone that wants to just simplify what, what we're saying.

I'm just gonna unmute really quick because it's. It sounds like she does a lot of what I do. I don't do it with birthdays, but like I connect intuitively like super, super deep. And so it would be neat for me to win because then I could see how like feel how somebody else does it. I think, I think maybe there's a handful of us on here who, who do something maybe, I don't know, we'll say similar and it's totally not, but it was. But it would be really cool to feel someone else's how they do it because I have people walk away like, oh my gosh, I've never felt like this and this is so incredible. So it would be neat to have the, the experience for me.

I think that having met her through that zoom in Ohio, the energy that just came through when she was on there spoke absolute volumes. You could see what a beautiful soul she was. You could feel that, this, that spirit in her of love and connection and just wanting to be everything for everybody. So when you told me about the book, I was like, seriously, she is from over here to over here, like 100 and whatever degrees. It's like completely different. I can't believe that, you know, it just doesn't compute to me that she was once like that. But because her, her beauty just shines through her whole being is just amazing. So yeah, having a session with her would be absolutely incredible. And I echo what Sarah says as well. It's like having that reflection back and having that experience on such a high level would be absolutely incredible. So, yeah.

And Karen, she actually looks like an angel, right?

I know, right?

Like literally, like if I think of like what an angel looks like, like that's the picture that I'm coming up with. But I also felt that connection in Ohio. And then when you asked if I wanted to join the group, I was like, absolutely. And then I had so much going on that I wasn't in there every day. But I was supposed to do the dare catch ups. Like that's. It was meant to be that way. And just to see the people that she's attracted into her, into her tribe. I met like I think six, seven different people through that process. Like I want to be more part of that world seeing like these are the people that she's playing with and that are like, I mean, they, they just had so many beautiful things to say about her. And as I'm now bringing love out loud into the world, like, I feel like getting to have a session with her would just be like such an incredible gift. And I just. What she would bring to that would be like more than I could even comprehend.

My dream of the non profit.

Yeah.

Yes. My dream of a non profit is to start this non profit to give scholarships to a one child per year beginning in first grade and take them all the way through high school. Because in my opinion and what I've seen, the educational system is not what it used to be. And there's underprivileged children who are very smart but just can't get out of the rat race of inefficient educational system. And so my dream is one per year. I don't know how I would determine that, but one per year, all the way through high school, as long as they wanted to go.

Wow, that sounds like a really good billion dollar impact marketplace project too.

It's a dream. For a long time, that has been my dream.

Do you guys see the power of what we're doing? It's like any dream, any idea we're able to birth. We have the vehicle now, right? Because it's really just a matter of filling the room with people that care about the cause, you know, and then having the right offers opportunities in that room. Like, we're in the middle of this. Like, it's like we have the vehicle now, right? To like do. To do it all. So it's really, really exciting. Okay, should I pick one more person? I bought three. I feel like I can't hold on. This is the whole money grows on trees things. I can't hold on to them. I'm like, oh, my gosh. Okay. Can I share something really quick, too? You actually remind me. So we have 100 kids, as most of you guys know, and our third child, Cora, that was her favorite thing to do at her birthday. Whatever gift she would give, she would just give everything away. Like, it was just her favorite. If she had four, she'd find four people to give it to. And we're like, cora, what's for yourself? And she's like, no, I'm just. It's so fun to give stuff away. So she's actually right now in France on a mission, and so it's. It's cool to see the same sort of energy and just, like, giving, and it's just really fun. It's really beautiful to watch.

I love that. You know, it reminds me of when I was younger. I. My mom. Like, I'm dating myself now, but my mom collected Smurfs for me. You guys remember Smurfs? So I had all these Smurfs. Like, I had this whole collection of Smurfs. That's what I was apparently into. And literally, like. Like, this collection. Collection of Smurfs. And we had, like, someone to come to our house, and he was. He was deaf, and. And he loved the Smurfs and. Loved them. Loved the Smurfs. And keep in mind, I was, like, obsessed with Smurfs, and I loved. I was playing with them, the whole thing, right? So it was, like, a big thing in my life at the time. And. But because he loved them so much, I gave him my entire collection. But it. It was like. It was, like, so. Like, I felt so good about it, you know, I was, like, knowing. Knowing how much I love them and then seeing somebody else love them that I knew, like, really could have enjoyed them. I remember my mom was mad at me. She actually wouldn't talk to me for, like, a few days. Because she was like, really upset because it was like something she like curated for me. But. But that kind of like that, that, that like, it's like now we have the community wealth experience, government, the billion dollar impact marketplace. It's like we get to now just give generously without giving of ourselves. Because half the money goes to you or the person, and then the other half goes to the cause. And I almost want to make it a thing. Thank you, Mayor. Because you made me realize. Because Mayor. Would not take any money from her. Her thing. And I'm going to make it a requirement where if someone's participating in it, that they are taking 50% of the money and then the other 50% goes to the. The impact project. Because I think that's really important for us, you know, to do. And so, and so anyway, I just want to point out that is also really good. Mayor, do you want to share?

So I. Emily is my sales coach. She's been working with me and receiving money front door. I'm really good at manifesting things. Back door windows, you know, underground. Like, awesome at it. What, what I have. Would I have some human blocks around his front door receiving.

Totally.

And. And so I. I was working. So the first one, which was the surprise. The 10th. Right. You know, like when, like, so I kind of went last because I really didn't know how to do it or how to say it or whatever. And I just gave all the money to charity because I had no. I wasn't prepared at all. I didn't know I was gonna have to take. Receive half. And then I was trying to prepare for the next one so that I would be able to receive half. And then my business partner just made me so wrong. I just was like, all right, it's for Restoration Ranch. I'm just going to give it all to Restoration Ranch. And I had made that decision before we played.

Right.

And then I'm like, of course. Of course it's going to make money because I. I'm in this whole mess because of Katherine in the first place in the wealth experiment. Right. Like, because she. So I'm. Of course, of course. And so then the next one, I will be prepared because Emily's helping me receive front door.

So good. I love it. Yeah. And so you made me realize that I have to make it a requirement because I also, you know, you guys have seen me struggle with that too. And so I feel like we're aligned in that way. And. And right now, as you guys know, I'm not taking a percentage from the Marketplace. I'm. It's a wealth experiment. It's like I'm selling my offer just like anybody else. Granted, I will probably, probably sell it earlier next time because last time I did it last. But. But anyway, we'll see. Eventually I could take a percentage, but for now it just feels so good to do like 50. 50, you know, and so anyway. But I do think there is something really powerful. And Carmen just joined in.

She does this like, intuitive connections thing. A lot of people say I'm a super connector, but she is like, on a whole nother level. But she does it like intuitively, you know, and so. But she also is able to help people, like, see their gifts inside of them and. And projects it back. And so it's a really beautiful. Hi, Janine. It's a really beautiful. Yay. And even Julie's on camera. Yes. And so, so, yeah, so we're giving gifts away because I basically sold her. I sold her. Oh, okay. It's like a one hour session where you get to, like, meet with her and then do whatever you want. She also was writing a book called I was a recovering. I think it's called. And so she talked about how she used to, you know, she used to be an asshole. And she is like now as Lucy and I will say, like a little, I think Karen said it to you. Walking Angel. Like, she's just, wow, a beautiful person inside and out. And what's her name? Her name's Jennifer Hill. Yeah. Oh, okay.

And as you guys know, I'm always looking for, like, the mentor that's helping me, you know, like, with the things. And so now that I've met Jennifer, she also connected me to Yannick Silver, who's also a beautiful person. He's an impact entrepreneur. He's raised millions of dollars for Virgin Unite and other charities. He does stuff in prisons. He's doing like, all the things. And so that's what like happens now. It's like we're getting, you know, we're getting like part of these, like, beautiful people that are doing just amazing stuff. So. Yeah. So whoever wins is going to get an hour with her.

Well, so this is the. We're buying it in the billion dollar impact market. That's like what it is. It's like, it's like, it's basically. And, And Mary, do you want to share? Because we, we. How many of you are doing the co authored book? Were you here during that time? Like how many? We have quite a few of you. Okay, so I basically had, I had mentioned this bonus back when we were doing the wealth experiment. And Emily, I think I'm gonna honor it with you and Jared too, during that time, if you guys want to join in on that Chapter. And Karen and Becky also were part of it because it was part of that launch where it was like, I just solved it, but I didn't realize we've been in a wealth experiment this whole time. And so anyway, we're each writing a chapter in a Do the Thing book. And this whole time I've been like, what is it? What is. And then I get stuck, and then I forget about it, you know, and then I, like, remember it again. And so it's been sitting there kind of like in the ethers of the Internet somewhere, right? And then all of a sudden, when I realized this billion dollar impact marketplace is like a wealth experiment, it's like the result of the wealth experiment. Because what happened in the wealth experiment was like the My People Party boot camp is basically the wealth experiment. It's just already automated. Does that make sense? The wealth experiment, the dares were still getting created as the group, as I saw them getting stuck. So, like, Jean, do you want to share? Before the My People Party boot camp, what was it like for you to host an event?

Most of you know me, and so that's a question I really don't have to answer because, you know, before then I would get nauseated just thinking about it. I would find excuses to not show up. But then after going through the program and again, Stacy, Stacy being Stacy, I'm so thankful I met Stacy. But Stacy, okay, let's put it. I'm gonna be real. I felt silly not doing a My People party when others were doing it. And Stacy kept saying, oh, it's easy. And one, I don't know, I think it was a Friday morning. She said, okay, so Gene, when you gonna do your My People party? And I don't know, I threw something out and she said, and don't plan anything. We're just gonna be there. And I almost freaked out. I really did. And I thought, no, no, you gotta plan. If it's a party, even small, you gotta plan. Well, I did plan, but it didn't come. But the plans weren't used, because at the My People party, and Stacy said, I'll be there. She came in her calm way. And it was.

Let'S put it this.

Way, because of that My People party, I fell in love with My People parties.

And.

I won't lie and say I'm comfortable, but I don't spend a lot of time planning because as Julie said, the alchemy of the room kind of take over. So when there's a My People party with a theme, we just show up And I enjoy it, so. Thank you, Stacy.

So good. And it's, like, so funny because, like, how many were here before the My People party was even, like, a name? And it was like. And it was like, host an event now. And that was when I saw everyone get stuck. That was in the wealth experiment, where I would say, like, host the event, right? And, like, freeze, freeze, freeze. But then once we kind of, like, understood the My People party, and then, like, what happened with Gene is like, you go to enough of them, and then you kind of like, okay, of course I can do one. Right. Especially if it's only with the people in this group. I feel comfortable doing it. And it's funny, Julia, thinking about. You were like, there was one day. If you're okay with me, I think you've shared this publicly. You're fine with me sharing? Yeah. It's like, there was one day Julie was like. Like, we. Julie, when she first joined, she, like, almost, like, canceled pretty much. And I was like, just continue in. And then if you don't want it at the end, like, I'll just refund your money, basically. And. And. And then she. She. At one point, she was like, I just don't feel like, like, what was the word? Do you want to share? Like, that, like, almost like you're not doing the same thing as the people in the room or. There was something you said about.

Yeah, I don't know. I felt like I just didn't belong in the room. Like, I was just not at the same level as everybody else.

And then what was amazing about that was she stayed in, you guys. She stayed. Stayed in. I was like, I'll be friend you. You know, like, if you don't like it at the end. And then literally, like, three weeks after she said that she had grown so much that she led this group call. She, like, not only belonged, but she was leading the group. That's the wealth experiment. Do you see? Like, that is the wealth experiment. It's like. Like, going from, like, not feeling like you belong, because everyone seems like they're doing all these things that are, like, so much better than us, right? Like, I used to feel like that. That's why I know it. I'm there with you. But when you realize, no, like, I, like, belong here, right? And not only do I belong here, I can lead the thing.

And you know what? I have to say, I wasn't gonna say I was feeling horse mode today, but it just, like, I saw your thing pop up, and it just so happened that I was here And I wasn't doing anything, so I popped in and there's been so much going on. And like, just being here today, it feels like just, oh, I'm just hanging out with old friends. And it's so good to see everybody. And like, so many things have been happening that. That it's just like crazy kind of that all good stuff. And it all. It is all still all the hidden gifts that started from the very beginning. And everybody already knows my story, but it just keeps going, like to the point where I just got back from a cruise with Allison Pickering. You know, I had that whole thing about yachts and then. And Allison Pickering may, some of you might know, but she's like a cruise junkie. Basically. She's been on like 50 or 60 cruises. It's like what she does well. So she double booked herself another one in November because she had this one book, but then she saw this one to Italy that she really wanted to go on. So she's like, do you want the one in November too?

She's just like.

Sure.

So, you know, it's. I don't know, just. I went to Sue's thing. I feel like I haven't seen you guys in forever because I have been kind of in horse mode and a lot of stuff has happened. But it's just super good to see you guys. And I didn't even think I was going to come on camera so that it just all continues to just spiral out from the. The core of being seen. That is the thing that changed everything.

And yeah, it's like, it reminds me think of Allison. We actually one of again while I was figuring this out, but I still didn't know it yet because 100 in the beginning, 100 of the person's thing went to charity. I didn't realize the 5050 model until recently, but we sold Allison's my people party at an auction for a thousand dollars. So, like, we have to remember you're my people party could also be sold at the auction. And the person that bought it was. She has a country club. Like, she's like in the country club and like all this stuff. And so, like, it's just like the power of like, what your gifts are, you know, and what you're discovering through these dares and being able to like, be open and vulnerable. And then for those of you that end up doing mayor's challenge and now you're in Emily's challenge, there's like so many gifts that we get to like explore together, you know, and. And it like each group brings out a different or each challenge brings out a different goal that we're wanting to work on. So super powerful. And Karen.

I just wanted to tag onto something that Jean said about facilitating the party and actually enjoying it, because think about how many times you're hosting a party and as the host, it is not enjoyable because you are literally running around with your head cut off. Like when you finally get a minute to sit down, like, everybody's already like past that point of like, you just feel like you've missed the whole thing. You know what I mean? So to host my people party and not have to over prepare and just get to show up and actually get to enjoy it as well is such a gift. And I just wanted to point out it was like, oh my gosh. That's just another benefit of this.

You're right. It's so true. It's like, yeah, it's like when you're running something, it's hard for you to tap in as much. Right. But with this, it's like that my people party is you. It's like exuding from like who you are and your value and like, then you're curating the space based on that.
