What is something you've done recently that you are proud of?
I wrote my first personal statement for college. I explained to a lot of people that growing up, going to school, written essays, letters, whatever, and I never really put my all into it. This is something for the first time in my life where I felt like it's me. I put my heart and my soul to it and I'm very proud of it.
I love that. So for people watching that might not know what a personal statement is. Do you mind sharing what it is?
Personal statement is something that you would have to write for college as a means of the school wanting to know why they should accept you. To the school, it could be large range of like topics like what do you want to do in life, some sacrifices that you've made in life that's made you a really strong person, acts of leadership, kindness, things like that. Anything that'll make you look more appealing to the school to have them accept you.
