I put together a list of the reviews on the internet for Sandals, all 17 Sandals resorts. I compiled a list of all the reviews, ratings from 4 stars, which is the lowest, which is pretty amazing, all the way up to over 4.5 stars. So let's go through starting at number 17, and take a look at all the different reviews. If we haven't met, I am Steve Griswold. My wife and I own Pixie Vacations. We have Pixies that can help book your magical vacations to Sandals or Beaches Resorts. There's no cost to work with us. Also, I'm going to put a link to the current deals. We'll put a QR code somewhere up here. Those are the current deals at Sandals. Those help out this channel. Or I'll put a QR code to our Pixies over at Pixie Vacations. We all travel to all Sandals Resorts all year long, so we're happy to help you. I want to give you my criteria for some of the lower ranking reviews. So these are things like maybe the rooms were older that the people stayed in, the airport transfer might be a long transfer or very hilly. Or windy transfers. So, so the reviews got rated there. Some people feel that these resorts maybe are too chill or they are too crowded or have too much of a party vibe. So either way there, some people might rate these lower because of the beach. Maybe the beach is too small or it's a more public beach with a lot of people on it. Some of these resorts are quieter, so they might have less activities. So some people might have given it a lower review because of that. Or possibly the guests might have stayed during construction, so that might have brought the review down. So coming in at number 17, the lowest rating of all of our Sandals Resorts, but still 4.0 to about 4.2 stars depending on how you add it up. Sandals Royal Bahamian. This is in Nassau. I was just there, uh, last year, so a couple of months ago. The things I love about this resort is the private island. The private island is really fun. Just take a little boat over. It's included. The ability to get to this resort is super easy. It's about 35 minutes from Miami, a flight, and you're there. So it's great. So that's probably some of the negative for some people is it's more of an extended weekend resort. Maybe it's a party or more party resort. Than they're looking for. And the property's a little bit older, although it was— a lot of it was redone in 2022, so it does look nice. Some people have been to Nassau, so they're like, I've been to Nassau, there's nothing I want to do there. So maybe that's also contributing to the 4.0 to 4.2 star rating average. Number 16, over in St. Lucia. I love this resort., but I like the smaller resorts. So it's a smaller resort. Some of the rooms are kind of your original style. So in St. Lucia, Sandals Halcyon Beach, again, smaller resort. So I think that's why some people are giving it the 16th spot. It's getting 4.2 stars, which is also still phenomenal. But if you're looking for more activities or something like that, then maybe Sandals Grand St. Lucian. Is for you versus the smaller property. Number 15, rated by you on the internet 4.2 stars. Another one in St. Lucia. I was also just here. Sandals Regency La Tocque. I had a room cliffside way up high, right by the butler lounge. So they could drive you up and down So that's one of the reasons I think this resort is getting the negative, or sort of negative rating at 4.2 stars. Uh, it's hillside, so it's very hilly, and a lot of rooms are way up on the hills. It's over 220 acres, this property, so lots of up and down walking. I got my steps, I got my steps in. I tried to get my exercise in because You're always eating and doing things. So for me, I was like up and down, up and down, getting my steps in. But yeah, there's a lot of walking. And it's also a smaller resort and it has some of the original rooms. So 4.2 stars, Sandals Regency La Toc. This is surprising. You guys rated number 14. One of my, this is my second favorite resort in Jamaica and it's number 14, 4.3 stars. 3 stars. It is currently closed as I'm recording this in early 2026. It'll be opening on May 30th, 2026 because a Category 5 hurricane, Hurricane Melissa, hit Jamaica in October of 2025. So they had just redone the overwater bungalows. They were stunning. And now they're redoing them again. So this is Sandals South Coast. The reason I think it's getting 4.3 stars is the drive. It's about a 2-hour mountainous curvy drive. It's included. It's a free island tour. That's what I always say. Lots of animals, lots of curviness. It's crazy. I get carsick, but for some reason I just look, I look out the window, I don't look at my phone and I'm okay. But yeah, it's a long drive. So I think that's why. But beautiful beach, very secluded, large resort. I think they have pickleball courts they just put in while I was there. Uh, they redid all 3 villages. They have rendezvous, stunning resort. So Sandals South Coast, when it opens in May 30th, 2026, this is a great resort. 4.3 stars. Number 13, Jamaica, Sandals Ochi. In Ocho Ríos. Now this is one of your kind of entry-level price point resorts. It's divided into two, so it has butler kind of villas up top in the mountains. Then across the main road is the beach side. There's a shuttle that goes between the two sections, so that can be a little inconvenient if you're going up and down a lot and waiting for the shuttle. Sometimes there's golf carts that'll take you around because there's a lot— this resort is also very hilly. So that might be why it's getting the 13th spot. It has, uh, 4.3 stars, which is really good. Uh, it is more of a party resort, so it can feel a little more crowded or a little more lively. So if that isn't your thing, that might be why it is coming into spot number 13. So let's get to number 12, Jamaica, 4.3 stars, which is still amazing. Sandals Negril. It's on the famous 7 Mile Beach. So that does mean you get 7 miles of beautiful beach to walk on, but that also means there's a lot of resorts on that beach, so it's a little more crowded. It's also over an hour included transfer from Sandals Montego Bay from the airport to Negril. So it is a little bit of a, drive, which people don't think about this, but on the way back on your last day, if you have an early flight out, they want to get you in the shuttle. You have to shut— they have the time of the drive, plus they want to get you there 2 or 3 hours before your flight. So on the way back, if you have an early flight, you're getting up really early because they're getting your luggage, you're getting down there, you're checking out, you're loading up your luggage. You're taking the shuttle drive back, then you're getting there 3 hours before your flight. So you're getting up super early. So that might be why some of these resorts that are farther out for the transfers are kind of lower on our list. Again, 4.3 stars, number 11, Sandals Barbados. Now the advantages to Sandals Barbados is that it's next to Sandals Royal Barbados, and they are literally feet apart where you don't know when you're on one resort property or the other. Like, I've walked back and forth between the resorts and you totally— it's just one giant resort. They are literally, I don't know, 6 feet apart. Same beach, same everything. It has some of the older room categories in Sandals Barbados, so I think maybe that's why it's 4.3, but fantastic resort. 4.4 stars rated on the internet. Number 10, Sandals Royal Plantation, 74 rooms, all butler. Now the reason some of the things people don't like, it's a very small resort, very quiet. You can take the shuttle to Sandals Ochi between the two. If you're at Ochi, you cannot go to Sandals Royal Plantation 'cause it's only 74 rooms and it's too small. But you can, if you want to go have some dinner at one of the other resorts, Sandals Ochi, take the shuttle right over and you're good to go. But smaller beach, quieter, less amenities. But if that's your thing, then you'll love it. Number 9, Sandals Grand Antigua. Now, oh, and I always say it wrong. And I went to the tourism board and they were like, no, it's not Antigua, it's Antigua, or it's not one or the other. Now I forget which way it is. So I'm sure you'll tell me in the comments. But this resort, number 9, 4.3 to 4.4 stars. It's got some older room categories, so maybe that's why it's not all the way at the top of the list. Smaller resort, but they're redoing the rooms right now. I expect this to go up the rankings as the year goes on. All right, so we're up to the 4.5-star resorts. Number 8, I love this resort. I can't believe this is only 8. And I love Curaçao. It's in Curaçao, Sandals Royal Curaçao. I think some of the downsides is it's a ways away, but it's an easy, it's a nice easy transfer. So it's not right next to the airport. It's a ways out. For a drive. I can't, maybe 45 minutes. I can't remember. But I love that island too. That island's great. And it's outside the hurricane belt. So that's also nice. It's always windy. There's a breeze. The downsides are the beach. So there is a beach off to the side. That's, that's nice. And it's great for snorkeling, but the main little beach area is small and rocky. Great Snorkeling on that island everywhere though. So, and the pool, the pool is amazing. It's like a double infinity, like rectangular pool. It's stunning. And the resort, I love that resort, the service, everything, the food, dining, everything. So Sandals Royal Curaçao, number 8. Number 7, again, 4.5 stars, Sandals Royal Barbados. We talked about Sandals Barbados earlier. Stay at one, play at the other. They're right next to each other. You walk between the resorts all the time. Royal Barbados has some of your more higher-end rooms. There is a rooftop pool in that resort, and you can go to either of them if you're at the other one, which is phenomenal. But yeah, some, again, some older room categories in Sandals Barbados. But yeah, 4.5 Sandals Royal Barbados. So this is very interesting. Number 6, number 6 out of 17 is Sandals Montego Bay. Now this is rated by you on the internet. This is by reviews on Google and TripAdvisor and all that, all kind of averaged together. 4.5 stars. Sandals Montego Bay, literally, I don't know, 5 minutes from the airport, maybe 10. So that's an advantage, and it's also a disadvantage. The advantage is, is you get there and you're on the beach in minutes. The disadvantage is the noise from the airplanes taking off. But every time I go and I talk to people, they love that resort and they don't care about the noise, which is obvious by it being number 6 rated on the internet. Coming in at number 5, St. Lucia, Sandals Grand St. Lucian. When I talk to people about St. Lucia, I love the smaller resorts. There's two of those there, and you can play at all three of these resorts, stay at one, play at all three. Sandals Grand St. Lucian's kind of more off by itself, higher-end feel, more luxury resort feel. Uh, the only negative on this from some people is the overwater bungalows are a little close to the main pool. So there's sometimes a little noise in that area, but fantastic resort. Number 5, Sandals Grand St. Lucian. So coming in, we're getting down to the wire. We're up to number 4 out of 17 Sandals resorts. This one is in Jamaica also. This one is Sandals Royal Caribbean. I always think of the cruise ship. It is not the cruise ship. Sandals Royal Caribbean. Fly to Montego Bay and it's maybe 15 minutes to this resort. The positives, it's quieter than Sandals Montego Bay. So people like to go to Montego Bay because a little more party and then they'll come over to Sandals Royal Caribbean for a more laid back or maybe, and you can dine, you can play it, play it all, stay at one, play at two. So you can dine at all the different dining locations. I believe there's 20 between those two resorts to eat at. Private Island is super cool. There's a dragon boat, takes you out to the private island. Really cool. So I enjoy that. There's also bungalows, so you can rent those here. It is closed right now as of this recording. It'll be opening on May 30th, 2026 because of the hurricane. So they're redoing that resort as well as Sandals Montego Bay, but it's number 4 on the list. It does have airplane traffic noise and it's still number 4. So it's interesting to me. So people really don't mind it. It's not as loud as Santa— as Sandals Montego Bay, but there is definitely some airplane traffic noise at that resort. So we're at our first 4.6-star resort, number 3 rated by you, On the internet, taking all of the Sandals reviews from all the different sites, merging them together, 4.6 stars. Sandals Grenada, always a fan favorite. I mean, I talk to people all the time, they love this resort. Great for honeymoons, small resort, has some updates to it with the Sky Suites, you know, the little pool that's outside hanging off the balcony. You can go and look, look over Phenomenal resort, great beaches, great little island to explore too with the Spice Island. I have so many spices from the last time I went. Little waterfalls, Jeep tours, all kinds of fun things to do. So yeah, number 3, Sandals Grenada. We're down to the top 2. This is— nope, there's a squirrel on the roof. All right, we're down to the top 2. Sandals Dunes River. I was just at Sandals Dunes River. It just opened back up after the hurricane. It looks like nothing happened. It looks amazing. I love this resort. It was my number 1 pick for 2026. It was my number 2 pick for 2025. So I can see why it's 4.7 stars. Beautiful resort, looks brand new. Great pool, great food, great staff, really great section of Jamaica in Ocho Rios where there's tons of activities going on. And that part of Jamaica got less of the hurricane damage, 'cause I went 5 weeks after the hurricane and it looks great. So number 2, well-deserved, Sandals Dunes River. And number 1, coming in at number 1, it's the newest Sandals resort, so it's hard to beat. Look, I know people are like, oh, it's only number 1 because it's the most expensive or whatever. And I get it because there's some of these other resorts, like, I mean, look at these others, like Sandals Montego Bay and Sandals Royal Caribbean. Some of these other classic Sandals resorts are still coming in super, super high. So Sandals St. Vincent, the newest Sandals resort as of 2026. I believe it opened in 2024, uh, and I was just there, uh, last year in 2025. I love this resort. The island of St. Vincent I'd never been to before is awesome. It's a great little island. It's kind of the unspoiled Caribbean island. Uh, and it's kind of like Hawaii where it's got these huge mountains and valleys and very tropical and very lush and black sand beaches. The Sandals Beach there is white sand because they brought their own sand in. I wish, I kind of feel like you should, you should have left it black sand. There is a black sand beach very, that you can walk to very close that I can tell you about. Anyways, number 1, Sandals St. Vincent, 4.7 stars rated by everybody on the internet. You will enjoy this resort. You will love this resort. Updated airport as well. The trick, the trick is, is finding flights in and out of that resort that match up with when you want to stay. So that's the one trick. So I hope you enjoyed all 17 Sandals resorts rated by you on the internet. We're happy to help at Pixie Vacations. There's no charge to work with us. We have Pixies that'll help you book any of these resorts, walk you through the pros and cons. Of each of them. I just wanted to give you a little taste of what the internet says is number 1 to number 17. Even number 17 had 4 stars or a little bit higher. So they're all great resorts. Hope this was helpful. Have a fantastic vacation.
