This was a perfect resort for 2026 because the news— if you watch the news, Hurricane Melissa is going to have you believe that Jamaica is off the map for 1 or 2 years. Not the case. So why is Sandals Dunn's River my top pick for 2026. It's stunning. I flew there 5 weeks after Hurricane Melissa. I spent almost a week touring Jamaica, and I stayed for several days at Sandals Dunn's River. Stunning. It's like nothing happened to that resort. Ocho Rios, horseback riding, Dunn's River Falls, the Blue Hole, everything is open. It looks amazing. Plus, there's amazing deals because not everybody knows what we know. Everybody thinks Jamaica is closed. Dunns River, Sandals Dunns River looks brand new.
