You ever notice how running a business feels? Like someone dropped you in the middle of a rock concert without even telling you anything? They didn't tell you where the stage is. There's lights flashing, there's noise everywhere. But somehow, some way, you're expected to perform. That's where most business owners actually live. They're always. It's never about lacking talent, just about being buried under too much noise. And that's what we fix here today. Welcome to Unfiltered and Unshakable, the show where we cut through the noise and give business owners and entrepreneurs the clarity, confidence and consistency they've been missing. I'm Steve Lichtman and today we're starting at the foundation, the thing that everything else in your business is built on. The Rise framework. And here's the truth. This isn't going to be a motivational speech. It's not going to be vision board exercises. I'm not going to be building dream catchers with you. Although that might be fun. If you want to have a crafternoon, hit me up in the DMs. It's not about believing harder and magically get new clients. You're not a unicorn. You're not Pegasus. Magic doesn't happen. The only magic is Criss angel. And we all know that's real, right? I'm not AI. I'm not a robot. I am not a copy and paste into an audio generator using my voice. This is me in my full chaos, and I'm here to help you. Rise is something that I've been working on for 10 years. It's an operating system that brings your brain back online when everything feels overwhelming and chaotic. And trust me, this happens to all of us. Most businesses and business owners, they're not failing. They're drowning in advice in comparison, in overthinking, in all the noise. And let me give you an example. A business owner will tell me in one of my one on one calls, hey, Steve, I'm inconsistent. And I'm looking at them going, no, you're not. You're absolutely overwhelmed. And they're not the same thing. A lot of us will fall into inconsistency as the symptom and overwhelm is the actual problem. That's what we're really suffering from. Or I'll hear things like, I don't know what to post. You don't know what to post. You actually do. You're just too mentally crowded to see it clearly right now because what you've been an expert in for the last six Months, six years, six decades. That's what you're gonna post about. I could talk to anybody and in five minutes know exactly what they need to be posting about. But here's the thing. Your brain, it's running 40 tabs right now. Five apps, two alarms, a smoke detector. It's running everything at the same time. Of course, the content isn't going to be flowing. You're bottled up. We're living in a world where your phone is louder than your thoughts. Your to do list is louder than your goals and your fears. They're louder than your ideas. They're crushing you. Rise cuts through all of that. It brings things back down to simple, doable human actions where you can take control of your business and, in part, your life. Because that's what it all ties back down to. All the time you spend in your business is that time that you're losing with the rest of your life, with your friends, with your family, with the people you care about. And it's important to me that you reclaim some of that time and you work more efficiently. Let's break it down, guys. What Rise really is all about R. Reset. This is the part people skip. It's why you stay stuck all the time. You can't solve a problem from a stress state. You can't create from panic, and you absolutely can't market from overwhelm. Resetting isn't about taking a spa day. It's not even about taking a break or walking away or going out and walking the dog. Sometimes it's really as simple as this. Take 30 seconds or a minute, pull your head out of the whirlwind, take a step back and say to yourself, all right, I'm gonna pause now. What is actually happening here? What the hell is going on? The reset is your effort switch moment. Talk all about flipping your effort switch. And that's a course that's gonna be coming out for free on the community that everybody's gonna get to enjoy sooner than later. But it's something where. It's the point where you drop that emotional charge and step back into clarity because you've flipped your head around it. To understand, all right, I needed to reset. I identify. It's that simple. Most problems that business owners deal with are actually just misidentified. You think your problem's content, it's clarity. You think your problem's motivation, it's direction. You think your problem's confidence, it's repetition. When you identify the real problem, not the loud one, the actual problem, momentum comes back instantly. All Right. This one's going to crush a lot of people and piss a lot of people off. S. Simplify. This is the part everybody wants to resist the most, because we're always taught over and over by the deluge of content that's online today, that big effort equals big results. You got to go big or go home. You got to throw it all out on the line. There's a million statements I could drop right now that will say the same thing. And to me, I say the one answer every time to that. Nope. Small, clear, repeatable actions are going to beat massive inconsistent actions every single time. Simplify means pick the one thing that would make everything else easier. Then do the smallest version of it. Not 10 steps, not the perfect plan. Make a move. Make one move. Rise is a four letter word and E is the final letter in it. Execute. And this is where the magic happens. Execution is what builds confidence. Right now, executing this podcast, recording it for you, will build confidence in me. Recording the other 10 I have already written scripts for. Right. So I will sit here and record because my execution is building confidence on what I'm doing tomorrow and what I'm recording tomorrow. Confidence builds consistency, consistency builds momentum. And momentum is what's going to make you unshakable. Unshakable. Af, I might say. Right? That's all ties together. You can't think your way into confidence. It's just facts. You just can't do it. You have to do something to get that confidence in your body. You can't just think up confidence. You can't sit in a room and manifest confidence. You can try. But until you actually execute something and get it done and look at it and go. Could be anything. It could be the smallest thing and just take a step back and look, Go. Yeah, I did that. That's where you get into the execution side. So just like I said a second ago about my own recording, that's confidence. I record this episode to build to the next episode. Let's use recording a piece of content as an example and take this as something real simple. You open up your phone, you stare at it. 3 minutes pass, your stomach drops. You think you have nothing to say. You put your phone back down. You get a message or a notification. It distracts you. Now you're texting, now you're on a phone call. Now you're on a zoom. How far have you come from recording that piece of content? Now, that seems miles away. But here's what's really happening. If we're going to put the rise Platform into effect here. First, reset. You're stressed and thinking way too far ahead. Identify. The real issue isn't what to say. The real issue is the clarity of what you're saying. Simplify. What's one thing you could teach in 30 seconds? And then execute. Hit, record, talk, stop, post. That's it. Record something short. It doesn't have to be an hour long. It doesn't have to be a week of content. It could be a 30 second post to talk about one specific thing you're doing today and you're done. That's how you use Rise in real life. This is what momentum looks. It's about taking yourself away from the things that feel scary as hell because you're looking at it. Oh, shoot. I now have to spend a month doing this or I need to plan for six weeks and have 94 meetings. No, you don't. You need to rise above it. Alrighty. Every week I'm going to have what I call the riff of the week. It's just a marketing riff. It's something to get you started. It's something to think about. It's just another way to look at things and attack things from my point of view. It might work for you, it might not work for you. You keep rocking these rifts and you just keep on going through them episode by episode. Today's rift is real simple. Clarity isn't found, it's created. What do I mean by that? Most business owners wait around for clarity to magically appear. It's that unicorn we talked about earlier, the Pegasus. But nope. Remember I said nope before? Same nope. Clarity is built the moment you reset. Identify the real problem and pick one action. If you really want clarity, make a decision. All right, so this is the end of the first episode. This is really simple. It's about. Rise is your compass. It's your steady ground. It's your reset button and the thing that makes you unshakable when everything else around you feels loud and you're just succumbing to the noise around you. I want you to rise. And if you want to know where the word rise came from, this isn't even on my script and I'm going clearly off of it right now. It came from a song from a band named Heat H. Heat is a Swedish rock and roll band and they actually write a song called Rise. And it's about exactly what you think it is. For me, it unlocks something inside of me as a rock and roll guy where I've been trying to find a simple acronym to use for what I've been teaching for 20 years. And I'm listening to this song in my car one day waiting at the middle school, my daughter's pickup, and I'm cranking this in the car and it clicked. And then I sat there and I thought about it. How do I make RISE into something? How do I use this as an acronym? And I just kind of lined it up to what I did and it just kind of summarized what I do every day with folks. And I figured it out. And you will, too. That's what this is all about. This whole experience, this whole reason I'm making this podcast, is about having something where you can click on audio only. This is never going to be a video. I'll do videos, but they won't be here. And use Rise as that compass. Use it for your steady ground. Make it your reset button. Everything you need to become unshakable, to shake the loudness off and get it away from you. So every episode from here on out, it's going to be a little briefer. They're not meant to be long, they're meant to be short bites. They are going to take real business challenges and run them through the RISE framework so you could take action immediately. That's my goal for you. That is literally my only goal for this. If this landed you at all and felt good in any kind of way, follow the show. Subscribe so you don't miss what's coming next. I'm going to read you my outro right off the. Off the thing. Not recorded, not fancified. Just going to read it to you and we'll get out of here. So thank you so much for being here.
