Unclear communication destroys accountability because people end up with different ideas about who is responsible for what. Clear expectations are what actually make accountability work.

Ambiguity kills accountability. If you know what you want done, but you can't share that clearly with the other person and you hold them accountable, how do they view accountability is your view of what's. What they're accountable to and their view of what they're accountable to. Two different things. It creates a situation where it's only forced accountability. What are we trying to create where accountability is taken by design? Because they see it's the right thing to do, because they see there's an opportunity.
