On March 8, we celebrate International Women's Day, and women in Leadership is a really hot topic within our organizations. There's three small things that we can do to increase diversity and inclusion of different perspectives and voices, especially in leadership roles. First of all, check your biases. Harvard University actually has some really interesting things called their Implicit association Test that you can take online to check your own biases. Second, look at the word words that choices that you're using when providing performance reviews. This is a really critical place of looking for those instances of implicit bias. The third thing that we can do is create space for different perspectives. Make sure that you're not only hearing from one part of the room and instead making space for every voice to be heard and included.
