This is a YouTube video titled "Shared Fate as Accountability" containing a monologue or talk recorded in May 2025 discussing the importance of ongoing accountability conversations within organizations as a positive growth opportunity rather than difficult confrontations.
When the leader needs to have a difficult conversation, it's usually too late. The impact of accountability is so out of the norm. What we need to be doing in organizations is holding each other accountable. We shouldn't be having difficult conversations. We should be having ongoing conversations that are just normalized, where we're trying to grow each other, we're trying to look out for the best for each other. Accountability is viewed as something that's positive, a growth opportunity for probably both of us.
