When we're under pressure, whether you're a leader or you're not a leader, you will naturally revert back to who you really are. Does that make sense? So we can have all these great ideas. I'm going to do this, I'm going to do that. And then the pressure of Monday morning hits. And what's the natural reaction? We know we're going to go back to a specific identity. We have to realize this not only about ourselves, but about people. And if we don't know how our people are going to naturally react under pressure, we have no idea what the outcome is going to be at that particular point. So we have to pay attention not only to them, we have to pay attention to ourselves. That's the idea behind identity.
