After finishing your dissertation draft, check two things: verify the tense shift from future to past tense in your first three chapters, and make sure your research problems, problem statement, and study purpose all match exactly throughout the document.
Chapters
Once we've completed the document, I'm going to go back through and check for alignment and flow. And one of the big things you want to check for is Almost every university I've ever dealt with says, you write the first three chapters in the future tense because you haven't done the research yet, but when you finish, you go back and change to the past tense because now I have done the research. So you want to check for that. You want to check to make sure every time you put in your research problems, it's the same as when you first listed them. Same with your problem and your purpose.
